"This is my second order from them- I ordered two 2GB Hitachi Micro drives from them. I had placed orders for a Coolpix, polarizer, spare bats, plus the microdrives, each from a different vendor. Comp-u-Plus was the first to arrive.
One day after placing the order, I received a FedEx tracking number, and it arrived exactly as promised.
This is the second order- I placed one in 2004 for several cordless phones, and that order when good as well.

the only store to offer the Sony DSC-W1 in black, in stock and at a reasonable price, easy online order without need for any phone confirmation or additional purchases. I received quick e-mails confirming the order, the charge on the credit card and the shipping of the camera. The camera was shipped out from New York on Monday on their 2-day FedEx service and it really was in my hands in San Francisco on Wednesday. It was the correct item and it worked perfectly.

"Lousy, Unresponsive "Customer Service." I bought a Netgear GS116NA switch, they shipped 9-month old product with a known defect (serial range GS1714...). Netgear refused to RMA it for current production model, told me to instead seek new product from Comp-U-Plus. I tried, but Comp-U-Plus said they could not provide current (non-defective) product. I said fine... I'll send it back at my expense, if they will credit the original order amount. Comp-U-Plus refused to communicate with me about this by e-mail or return my call. They finally issued a credit to my AMEX card less about 15% of the order (???).
I finally contacted AMEX and initiated a chargeback. After Comp-U-Plus saw the chargeback, they then issued another credit, but still did not credit me the original shipping charge. Since this was defective product, and they gave me no other remedy, plus the fact I spent $12+ out of pocket to send this crap back to them, I expect to be made whole on the original purchase amount. I don't think this is unreasonable, but they won't discuss it.
I'm letting AMEX handle it now. These people are idiots. All the honesty and efficiency of a 3rd-World Banana Republic. By not being honorable, by wasting my time, and by refusing to communicate with me, they've guaranteed that I'll never do business with Comp-U-Plus again.

"DO NOT EXPECT PROMPT SHIPMENT FOM THIS COMPANY. I ordered a digital camera via its website with Fedex 2-day service on 2/28/05. After two days waiting, I still didn't receive the shipping information. So I wrote its customer service asking for the tracking number. I got reply saying the order will be shipped on 3/2/05, howeve, I just got the tracking number this afternoon(3/3/05). When I track the shipment with Fedex, it is saying the shipment is made on today, not yesterday.
I bought this camera for the use of the coming weekend. Because I see CompuPlus has two days shipping, I placed order with them. But what's the point of charging 2-day service if it takes 4 days to ship?
Since I haven't received the item, I don't know the product quality. I will post back after I get the item.

I immediately called the company and spoke with a representative named Sharon who was as rude as rude can be. I asked for a refund/replacement I was told that I would pay for shipping and that I would have to pay for the new item. I could not believe it. I asked for a supervisor. I received voicemail, left a message and have not heard back from them. Obviously I would NEVER buy from them again! I have an RMA number. I attempted to order a replacement toothbrush head that cost $23 (4 sets) and they wanted to charge me $42 (cheapest option) for shipping and handling to MA from NY. That is insane. Opened the box....and there is no: Car charger. (Is this fact critical, as the GPS unit itself has a regular wall phone jack at the end of the wire, and for the life of me I can't figure out what it's supposed to be plugged into in order to get power....can't be ANYTHING in a car!).
Now...other things....unlike the web page, there was no TomTom Car Kit, therefore no Universal windshield mount / Glove Fit Cradle / Charge cable for cigarette lighter / Mounting plate!
The Navigator box itself has an indication that there should be NO Car Kit, as it has a icon/drawing of the car kit with a RED X stamped on it. This label is from the manufacturer.
However, in speaking with Comp-U-Plus, and they stated that it was a mis-package by TOMTOM! They would NOT give me an RMA number.
In calling TomTom, they said it was a merchant problem...that the merchant should simply take the item back and the merchant should return it to TomTom (which sounds normal to me).
Comp-U-Plus is pretty much a rip-off in this situation."

i ordered an os cd and a motherboard.
prices are low but shipping is higher than some other sites. you can always use pricewatch.com which includes shipping cost in the price comparisons.
i put shipping comments :
package may be left by the front door.
they sent me an email saying they require a signature.
i replied saying let the order go thru, somebody can sign or i can sign on the note shippers usually leave behind or i can pick up the package somehow.
order was processed after they received my reply.
package arrived in less than a week and somebody was at home to sign and all goods were in working condition.
i also thanked the person who sent me the email for the concern about my order."
