"Where do I begin....
First of all, their website sucks and does not even tell you if your credit card was billed properly; there is no confirmation at the time of purchase. After waiting amost 2 days for a confirmation that my card was billed, I ended up calling them only to find out that they had a problem with the address. This was attributed to an error on their side...which was easily resolved.
Then the shipping part...my package seemed to be late and I was wondering where my package was until I got a call from someone 30 miles away who recieved my package at their apartment. Their address isn't even remotely similar to mine...and it isn't even in the same city and I don't even live in an apartment. This company sucks...bad website, bad customer service, and incompetant people. I will never order from them again."
"The price for the item, a Microdrive Travel kit, was great.
However, they didn't send the item I ordered. They sent a regular Microdrive, threw in a PC Adapter, and expected me not to notice. They didn't seem very sorry about this bait and switch when I spoke to them on the phone, although they did refund the difference in price between the travel kit and the microdrive alone once they received the PC Adapter, which I had return shipped at my own expense."

The woman assured me that this order will be taken care of ASAP. I was patient and waited till 1/4/05. I decided to write a email asking about the shipment info, just to find out the item was shipped out today 1/4/05. Such BS. Whats the point of charging 2-day service if it takes 5 days to ship?"

By the afternoon I had a tracking number, and the item was received today on Friday (2 days later) in excellent condition. "Upon a friend's recommendation I used Compuplus rather than Beach Camera (who I've purchased twice from and haven't had a problem with in the past) to purchase a Nikon Coolpix 8800. A few days after receipt I noticed at least 8 dead pixels on the LCD. I contacted Compuplus for RMA information. They directed me to their website. I decided to wait until the weekend so I could pack the camera up. I went back to the website and it ran me through an automated RMA process that told me I could not exchange the camera. I contacted customer service again and they said they had a 7-day exchange policy on digital cameras. Nowhere on the site does it state that. As a matter of fact they prominently display their 30-day money back guarantee commitment. I told them that, but they still would not agree to an exchange. Never mind that I contacted them within the 7 days they require...
In my opinion, this is dishonest. While they offer low prices, other dealers offer even lower prices and do not screw you once they've sold you defective merchandise. I will never buy from these people again."

"I read some bad reviews but don't know why. They had the camera I was looking for $100 cheaper than local merchants. Sure they only have two day shipping as an option so that will be a little expensive, but the overall good deal and you get the product right away, I don't see the down side to this. "Just ordered a kodak DX7630,1 gig of mem, and a dock 6000 for $500. Talk to Steve at ext.105. He was great and would recommend this site to everyone. Told him to ship it ground and he shipped it 2nd day, no charge. I have no reservation in ordering from this company.
Do not order from those other companies A&M,Starlight camera etc. Those guys are fakes and hung up on me because I would not order there $160 insurance. Steve (CompUplus) sold me insurance for $20 for three years. There prices are great and service is over the top. THX steve. "
"Comp-u-plus is where I bought my TomTom Go GPS unit from.
Whilst it took them nearly two days to process my order they did not charge my credit card until my order was shipped. I selected Comp-u-plus simply because they were selling this item WAY cheaper than anywhere else. Nearly $100 cheaper!!
The product was shipped and arrived next day before 10.30.
I cannot fault either price or service - Full Marks."
"I don't know what all the fuss about this company. I ordered a TomTom GO after business hours on Tuesday, It shipped Wednesday, I recieved it Thursday (overnight shipping).
It was in a box filled with foam peanuts so no box damage...
Maybe they had problems in the past but they worked out great for me. I would buy there again.
Only "complaint" i have is there was no "ground" or cheap shipping option, but i rarely use these methods. Their overnight shipping was $5 more then the 2 day, so i went with that. Seriously, $19 for overnight is pretty good considering that most companies "profit" off of shipping."
