"Bought a Kodak easyshare CX-7530 for $240.00 wich is lowest price I've seen for a 5 Megapixel camera.I placed order on 10-17-2004 late sunday night.
Then I tried anxiously tracking the order (new toy, oh boy!)that following Monday and saw no tracking information so I tried calling the company and add something to the order(recharchable batteries, gotta have them)but phone was busy all day Monday.I litearally tried 30 + times to call them to change the order.
Now I can see why they have such a "low" mark on customer service.Another nitpick of mine is that I find $19.96 a bit too excessive for a 2 day shipping.
I received my camera yesterday as promised and immediatlly tried it.It worked like a charm but the box it came in was a bit squashed simply because the camera's box itself was slightly bigger than than Fedex box.
I think I will buy again from this company

"They only use fedex. Fedex delivered my $450 GPS to the wrong house. Fedex wouldn't honor a claim. Comp-u-plus wouldn't do anything to help get my claim paid. Comp-u-plus wouldn't refund my money for the item I paid for but didn't receive. In the end I'm just out $450. I wouldn't do business with either Comp-u-plus or Fedex ever again."

UPDATE 1... After my original satisfaction, it turns out that the rebate that was offered for the Sandisk Flash Memory card I purchased, which had been CLEARLY marked and LINKED under the item listing, was wrongly advertised. This rendered the item ineligible for the rebate, which was the only incentive for my original purchase... I have contacted Comp-U-Plus, but have as yet not received a response.
UPDATE 2... Within 24 hours, Comp-U-Plus admitted their error and apologized for the mistake, and to their credit, Sandisk immediately decided to honor the rebate anyway, evening out the score. :-)
Sometimes you can tell more about a company by how they deal with problems. Ultimately, my experience with Comp-U-Plus was a good one, and I am quite satisfied. "
"Placed my order and three full days later there has been no ship tracking # issued. Lots of reviews about them being closed for holidays when no holidays were evident. Must be Jewish in nature. Called on Friday morning and answering machine said "closed for the weekend." Business must be great. Shipping charges definitely inflated. My credit card was billed very shortly (within hours) after order was placed and three full days later all I get on website is the following:
"Your order has already been processed, however, our system does not show a tracking number yet. Tracking numbers are posted on our site within 24 hours of shipment, please check back later. If you have any questions, you can send us an email at ****@****."
I am beginning to feel very uneasy about this company. Wish I had read reviews on ResellerRatings.com before ordering from this very shady outfit.
If and when I get my order, I will update concerning accuracy and quality of merchandise.
But for now, I suggest, "BUYERS BEWARE"!"
"I'm very satisfied with this company, I have ordered items over $1000 and they called me to verify that I am the person who made the purchase online. They accounts department were very friendly and polite, after which they transferred me to the sales department to comfirm that all the items were in stock. My items were supposed to be shipped out in 7 days, but because of this purchase verification, I was set back 3 days.... I expected the products to roll in at least another 7 days,. But to my amazement, I recieved a UPS delivery confirmation from them stating that my order will arrive in 2 days.
How nice was that, they took the initiative to send the items out to make sure I got them on time.
One more thing.... one of the items I purchased was a badly designed product, Comp-u-plus has no say over it. So I called them up and they ran me through the RMA process and was told that they will review the product to see if they will take it off the shelf. Sent the product back on Monday, got my full refund on Thurdays when they recieved the product.
I really happy with this vendor and will definitely do business with them in the future.... Keep up the good service....

"I ordered an OrangeMicro USB2 interface from CompUPlus. The piece would not install. After 2 months of trying to deal with OrangeMicro, who gave me bad information about the problem, they discontinued any tech service. I then worked with the tech support of the audio mfgr., and after 2 weeks of attempts, the Orange product still would not work. I contacted CompUPlus, who refused to take the product back and said that they no longer carry OrangeMicro products. I will not order from CompUPlus any longer, nor will I buy an OrangeMicro product. A company without good service or tech support is useless."
"I ordered three GPS accessories described by Compuplus as brand new, and offered with a large discount over most other vendors. All arrived promptly. Two of the three items were as expected. The third was missing its original manufacturer's packaging, and was instead wrapped in a plastic wastepaper basket bag with a rubber band around it. It was also missing pieces.
Upon contacting Compuplus by e-mail, I immediately received a reply insisting that their products are all brand new (an obvious falsehood in this case). For all their indignation, they did not answer my question about exchanging the "used" item for a truly brand new one, nor did they offer any resolution to the situation whatsoever. My follow-up e-mail pressing the issue was conveniently ignored. Based on reviews, I didn't bother to waste time calling them over it.
I managed to obtain the missing pieces directly from the manufacturer, who obviously know how to treat their customers better than Compuplus does. The accessory now appears to function just fine.
Based on the reviews I read, I was willing to take a risk to save substantial amounts of money. However, be warned that you are risking your money, as I and others have discovered that their merchandise is not always as described, and their customer service is often lacking."
