"Excellent purchasing experience! From start to finish i felt i was handled with care and everything went exactly like they said it would. I bought a Canon A80 digicam for $254.00 with $14.95 shipping. I happen to notice this name from doing part searches years ago when Price Watch was the OLNY place to go and they were always there being very competitive. So when i saw them this time, it showed me that they are still in business after about 10 years and still competitive so i figured they must be doing something right. I will gladley shop there again!"

"It was great, they had the best price on a 40gb, full color LCD screen mp3 and video player. It was only $450. First I bought from Circuit City the 20gb version for $500, so with compuplus, I got more for less. The shipping was great came thursday when ordering moday with 2 day shipping. I love it."

"This vendor beat Amazon's price on the same item (a wireless router kit and 3 wireless pci cards) by $22.00. However, they charge a whopping $30.00 for ground shipping. I called them and asked if they would be willing to waive shipping in order to beat Amazon's price. They were only willing to reduce the shipping by $3.00. Bye-bye Comp-U-Plus and hello Amazon...."

"Flawless! I ordered my HP R707 Camara on July 13, 24 hours after I receive a confirmation #, Hmmmm I said... But then next day I receive a delivery confirmation #. "I read the reviews about this company and was a bit hesitant about purchasing from them. I purchased a video card that I figured was out of stock even through the web site said it was in stock and had it shipped overnight. I was very impressed. The website said it would be shipped in 1-2 days. I ordered on Monday, the item was shipped on Tuesday and I received the item on Wednesday as I ordered it. Not sure you can get any better than that! I normally only shop from one place online and now i think I have two places in mind."

"Fantastic transaction...Easy online ordering, fast shipping, great product. Only downside, 26.20 for ground UPS to Detroit from NY is very high. I checked ups and at 7LBs insured for 150.00, I came up with 7.00 USD. Ive heard of handling charges but 20 bones is a bit much."

"Well, my experience with these guys was mixed. I have ordered a iRiver from them before, it was delivered, they are honest, but I have some qualms nonetheless.

I ordered a [pricey] TV encoder card, and I was forced to opt for the $12 mandatory 2-day shipping. I didn't mind, I needed it quickly anyway, but somemore options would be nice. Also, the fact the 2-day shipping I paid for took 4 days to get here concerned me. I realize FedEx takes weekends off, but I placed this on a Wednesday expecting it on Friday, and it was 'processing' a day later, so I received it the next week. For a single light weight $130 item, and $12 shipping, this is not as I would have liked.

Beyond that, the package was new, packed in packing peanuts, and it seemed to be sent well. However, inside the shrinkwrapped box the card itself was *resealed* in its static bag, the sticker had been torn previously and covered with another one. I am in the process of testing out the card now to see if it works, but this scares me very much since the box was supposed to be retail-new.

So if you shop with them, be prepared to wait 2 days longer than advertised, and double check the items when you get them. They also are quick to charge your credit card, but they are timely in notifying you of the progress of your package.

"I recieved my motherboard from Comp-U-Plus on time with no problem. After the board failed 2 hours into its use is when the problems started. First I tried to call Comp-U-Plus Friday afternoon at 4:30 pm they were closed for the weekend, so I sent an email asking for a call back Monday. I went to there site and requested an RMA number no problem and sent the board back air mail on Monday mourning. I emailed sales asking If I could purchase another board to have it sent out Monday and credit me for the board I returned when they get it. I then tried to call sales and when I told the person what I wanted to do he sent me to customer service. After 15 minutes on hold I hung up. I sent an email to customer service and waited. I recieved no reply at all Monday, so on Tuesday I again tried to call and was unable to get a live person. Wed came and I check the tracking number and the board was recieved at Comp-U-Plus 10am. I called and got through to customer service and was told board was not in there sytem. After I told her I needed the board for a customer and wanted some help she transfered me to the RMA department which ended in an answering machine. I left a message asking for a call back Wed. Finially Wed afternoon I recieved an email from sales 2 days after I sent it saying yes I could pay for another board and get reimburshed whe nthey recieve the old one. Well they now have the old board, so I emailed back to sales explaining this,still no reply from sales it is Sat. I recieved and email Thursday from customer service asking for tracking information for the returned board which I sent to them. Thursday afternoon I recieved an email saying the just got the board which was a lie as the tracking record showed and it would ship soon. I emailed back and asked when? I was then told to call the RMA department which never answered the first call or any of the emails. So I ordered a board from someone else got it Friday afternoon Installed it and my customer is happy. I am still out $204.90 plus another $14.95 shipping to Comp-U-Plus for a motherboard I dont have and no idea when I will get another one. Not my idea of good customer service.

"After extracting more data than typical (Amazon, for example) they then followed up with email requesting more information including request for my bank's credit dept phone which is worthless since my credit card is not through my bank. I have no such trouble with the professionals at Amazon and won't be bothering with comp-u-pus in the future."

"this order is a graphic card which was VERY cheap it was a GeForce FX 5950 ultra 256mb which i thought was pretty good so might as well buy it. it was very fast shipping from NY to CA and i think it took only 2 business days which was fast the bad part about it was that shipping cost me $20 for over night service.

now for the item it-self, OMGosh! i thought i was ripped it after reciveing the item because when i opened the shipping package i heard things jinggling which seems very wrong. when i opened the graphic card's box there were plastic all over the place which means the shipping sucks! and the connectors that came along with the item wasnt that good either because it had NO cover not even a baggy.BUT lucky it works and im glad about that or else i'll be opening a can of whip-*** hahah! just kidding.

"I ordered an Iriver ihp-120 mp3 player from them on a tuesday, was sent on thursday and I recieved it from FedEx on monday. Processing time it average but when the price dropped $5 a couple days after I purchased the player I emailed them to see if I could get a credit to my credit card back. A few days later I got an email back saying they credited my card for $5 and it checks out.

My overall experiance was a good one and I'd probably purchase from them again.
