"I am not writing this in order to resolve a problem, but rather in response so that the company may learn from their mistakes and others may learn from mine! I ordered a monitor from this company, and like many others, picked the lowest shipping. I waited for several weeks and exchanged several emails with the company, receiving various answers every time. I even received several emails telling me that the product had shipped! When I got these, I just sat and waited, nothing came. I later realize that the product hadn't shipped (even though they charged me 3 weeks prior) and that I needed to fax them a release waver. Not willing to do this and after going through all the hoops, I asked them to cancel my order....nothing....didn't hear from them. It wasn't until I got pricewatch and my credit card company in on the action when they decided that canceling the order was in everyone's best interest. Beware!!!"

"A week after I ordered a monitor, they e-mailed me with a message explaining that "We are a company primarily known for the best customer service and lowest possible price."

They went on to tell me that they wouldn't ship the monitor unless I faxed them saying that I would not hold them responsible for shipping problems, because I chose no insurance ground shipping. Of course, they had already taken my money and given me no warning on their website that they required a fax to send the monitor.

I sent an e-mail back explaining:

"I accepted the shipping service your website offered me already. Either send the monitor immediately or cancel the order. Good customer service doesn't wait a week to tell its customers that the product requires a signed
fax in order to ship with standard shipping. This is entirely unacceptable, and if I don't hear back in 2 days with a message "we shipped the monitor" or the message "we cancelled your order", then you will be hearing from the
better business bureau with "your business practices are shady"."

It has been two days, and they haven't bothered to respond. I MUST BE JUST ANOTHER UNIMPORTANT CUSTOMER. Careful if you're ordering from these lazy, sneaky, and generally bad people. They are not trying to serve you, they are trying to take your money and leave you without.

Spread the word, Compubuzz just doesn't care about it's customers.

I would like to make a note to anyone buying an OEM CPU from compubuzz. I purchased an Athlon 2000+ oem cpu from them yesterday 2/26/03 and received an email the following day asking to SIGN AND FAX back an agreement about their return policy on cpus.

Not only do most people not own fax machines but it is a ridiculous requirement especially when you usually agree to the purchasing terms and agreements WHEN YOU PLACE THE ORDER in the first place. I sent them and email back explaining my situation but this shouldn't be necessary at all.

When ordering online this is how it should go (and I judge a company on how well they can do this):

I order ---> company processes order ---> company sends order ---> order is received by me. THE END.

Anyway, this is simply a note to each one of you reading. If you plan on purchasing an OEM cpu, I'd go back to newegg instead and pay a little extra because they (newegg) know how to follow the rules of purchasing much better than other places.



UPDATE: SHIPMENT WAS NOT PROCESSED UNTIL 12 DAYS AFTER I FAXED THEM MY SIGNATURE! I WILL NOT DEAL WITH THEM AGAIN. After 12 days of waiting they sent the CPU and offered NO explanation as to why they did not ship it.

I called them asking why it was finally shipped 14 days after I originally purchased the order and the woman said she didn't know and only offered to give me a tracking number which I already had.

I will NEVER deal with them again. This company doesn't know how to do business AT ALL.

"Compubuzz.com has great prices and excellent communication. I had some questions on combining shipping on a couple of items, one with free Ground Shipping and the other with free Fed-Ex Express Saver shipping.

They worked with me to get all of my items to me quickly and at a great final price. Delivery was fast and the packaging first rate.

I think that here, as in any transaction, if you treat the business with respect they will treat you fairly as well.

"The shipping options are misleading as they do not inform you that orders that are ordered Wedsnday or later even with overnight shipping will not be sent to you before Monday of the following week. The reason given is that it is Fedex's fault that it isn't getting to you, not theirs."

"i purchased a 17' monitor and 1ddr256ram from computzz on 01/02/03 and they shipped out at 01/04/03,no shipping fee/tax(since i am not live in that state^^)
now a days, cant find much free shipping for stuff that over 10 or 20pounds....so next time if you want to get some hardware that weights much, try compubuzz

"Horrible company, charged my account twice for one order. Phoned for a refund and the pretentious customer service rep. argued that it was my fault for pressing a button twice. Their website design is flawed... in what circumstance would anyone the button twice intentionally? They charged me twice but didnt send two shipments, apparently following a "charge and ask questions later" policy. An irresponsible way to run a company;
never purchase from this place unless you want trouble!

"I was very impressed and very angry at Compubuzz. I ordered a $120 motherboard, top of the line, from these people.

1) BAD: It took them FOREVER from the time they revieved my order and said it was proccessing, to the time they shipped it. Forever meaning about 6 days.

2) GOOD: The shipping was free and I recieved it the day after they said they shipped it.

3) Horribly bad: When I got my very expensive motherboard in the mail, it was packaged in the worst manner I have seen. They put it in a big box, which had a piece of paper and another little box inside. I opened it to find the the actual box the motherboard was supposed to come in, crumpled. It was folded into a tiny square, ruining the awsome Dragon picture on the side. Well, that's just a box, I was really worried about the motherboard now, because it didn't have a reatail box around it. I opened the tiny box and stuffed, well, I should say thrown in, was the motherboard and all the components. Yes, all the sharp parts that came with the board were just sitting on top if it, getting smashed around during shipping! The board looks okay, but I can't test it until the rest of the parts arive.

Compubuzz said "reatil box" on their website. What they didn't tell me was that they shipped the motherboard in their own box, with the retail box folded and smashed NEXT to it.

I would only buy stuff from them again that didn't require organized packaging.
