"I would like to speak my mind about Conn's. There products have been the worst in quality and warranty services. I have purcahsed 2 air and heat units. The first unit breaking 3 times while under warranty. The company not replaceing until the third call on this product. When going to replace the product.Company no longer carrying the product or even equivelient. I had to take a down grade or come up with 50% more then I had oringinally paid for the first unit. At the same time the second unit had broke three times and the same problem occureing. I also had to remove that second unit and travel over 100 miles just to get a down sized unit or this time pay a 100% above the cost of that unit due to know longer carring the product. Mind you these units were less then a year old and conns were jumping from product to product where people could not replace there warranty products with out comming up with huge adjustments. I also would like to add that every time the unit was to be repaired. I never had a repair that was fixed in under 3 weeks. This being in the summer with temps on the average of 103-105. People have died in that type of heat. I purchased these units due to the fact I have an old central unit works but is costly to run. Due to the breakage of these units and conns poor performance my utility bills ran on the average of 600.00 a month compared to haveing my units at 250.00 a month. Then they wonder were there money is when you can't afford to pay there note. Conns is there worst enemiy and most definitly mine. There company has gone down hill in the last 15 years and I would not refer anyone to do business there."
" DON'T trust the sales people and DON'T buy their service. They don't know anything about how service works and how screwed you get when you get service. To top it off when you file a complaint to the 800 #'s your the one that looks wrong and at best you might get offered $25 gift card to try and shut you up. The service manager doesn't care either. The situation was that my laptop needed service and I asked specifically if they contact you before they do anything and I was told that they have to because they might have to erase the computer and I told her that I was relieved because I would want to know that because I will have to asked for the computer back before that would happen because I have family photos not to mention additonal software I had added. Well a week later I get a call from the tech saying work was done and I was surprised and I had to ask him what was done because he was ready to hang up and I was told three things was done and one of those was resetting to laptop to factory setting erasing everything and I was angry and told him he was supposed to call me first before doing that and his response was well I tried to call yesterday but no one answered. I called to complain and two other reps also told me they are supposed to call first! The service manager backed his people up and put the blame on me. The sales people try and sweet talk you making you believe they are going to take care of everything or fix the problem and I ended up with the same result...nothing! This especially goes for their Denton store and their current Manager is a joke. They don't know customer service if it hit them in the face!"

"DO NOT BUY ANYTHING FROM CONN'S!!!! We bought a really nice Samsung refrigerator from them and had to have them come back out and replace it twice because both times it was damaged by the delivery team. Then they were supposed to come out to replace it with the 3rd frig this evening between 6-9 and didn't show up or even call us! Unbelievable!!!! Have never experienced such poor customer service in my life! At this point I'm about to roll it out to my front yard for them to pick up and will not be paying for sh*t!!!"
"This company is trash! I was a good standing customer for years and was going through a tough economic time and decided to try to refinance the loan so the payment would be at a lower amount. They rudely told me I did not qualify unless I was in bad standing with the company. If I had late payments then they could assist. How ridiculous is that? I mean why can't a good customer be rewarded by asking to refinance? I have to sacrifice my credit score. There is something wrong with that."
"So we were only like a couple of days late on our payment and we got a phone call. Ok yes we explained we would be a week late and the lady was very rude with my husband on the phone! My husband told her that he wanted the pay off amount and she didn't want to give it to him after she asked if there was anything else she could help him with! "I bought a Samsung Smart TV 46" 120 HZ 3D LED on monday 01/16 at Conn's store located in San Antonio, TX at 4999 NW Loop 410, they told me that I can pick it up on wednesday. I called them before going to the store just to make sure everything was ok and they said that the truck with the product was "LOST" and that they will call me the next day and delivery to my home without charges, I said ok. On thursday they never called me, I spoke with different managers and nobody can give me an answer, I was told just to wait one more day. Friday I spoke with 5 different persons on the Customer "Support" line and they keep transfering me to different rep's, they put me on hold like forever and finally a lady with the name Grace opened a ticket for my complaint, but I still need to wait 72 hours for a call back. The only option that I have is to re-select or cancel the order because now they are saying that the TV is "Out of Stock" and actually was never shipped out from Houston and they do not have an specific date. Today is saturday and I still haven't got my TV.
What kind of customer service does this company provide???

"I was at Conn’s @ 10900 I-H 45 S, Houston, TX 77034, ***-***-**** ? ***-***-**** (Fax) ? this morning 12/04/2011 and be the 9th person in the line for the HP Touchpad 32GB which is going to be a Xmas gift for my kid.
I did not get one ticket due to the store clerk’s discriminating to Asian people as I can tell. There are two other couple Asian people in front of me. I do not know if they are husband and wife or dating (not of my business.) The low-customer service skill clerk was rude in insisted that they are in one household (without checking any driver license) and did not give another ticket to the two ladies.
How about me? I am a single man who was in-line after 2 white people. The clerk did not give me one ticket. I have no time to complaint at the store. I was wasting my time waiting and get ugly customer service. I am going to complaining here for the bad customer service at this particular Conn’s location. The manager did not know how to handle the situation in a correct way. The advertising does not said anything about limiting of one item per one family household at all (not my case anyway.)
The under- customer service trained clerk did not give me a ticket has no other reason than discriminating based on my color.
1) I am going to complaint Conn’s with BBB about this
2) After counseling to my attorney later, I may sue the Conn’s for discriminating to Asian (I have a friend and other witnesses.)
3) I am going to information all Asian communities by web, flyers about Conn’s discrimination to Asians to see if they will get our community’s support to their stores any more.

"NW Expressway store, Oklahoma City, OK. I went to Conn's for the 1st time last week and had a very nice, helpful salesman. He offered me a GREAT price on a living room suite and 0% interest for 36 months. The price was so good and I loved the furniture, so I decided to raise my budget a few hundred dollars so I could buy it. When I was ready to buy, the salesman informed me that per his management, they would only offer 6 months no interest. I felt like I had been misled, so I took some time to think. Yesterday I called the salesman and told him I'd be coming in to make the purchase and would pay approx half on my credit card and would finance the rest at 0% interest for 6 months. He sd ok, he would get everything ready. I went in and we spent at least 30 minutes getting everything settled and input. When I handed him my credit card to pay for part of the total, he informed me they wouldn't give me the 0% interest since they had marked the furniture down so much. Had they just been honest from the beginning, I wouldnt have wasted my time. It was definitely the "bait and switch" I've seen in so many other reviews today. They did however, offer to RAISE THE PRICE OF THE FURNITURE and give me 0% interest for 6 months. Ridiculous!! I filed a complaint on their website and received a call from someone locally who asked me to go into another local Conn's store and they would see what they could do. I told him I'd wasted enough time and asked if they would honor their original offer, including price and 0% interest. After several "we'll see what we can do" responses, he finally admitted No, they wouldn't. Apparently they are very unprofessional, have poor customer service, and don't know the proper way to do business."

"Terrible service. Order wasn't processed until a week after it was placed and I had to call and inquire about the status of the order before the processing was completed. Had I not called, the order would very likely still be in the processing phase. Then, no tracking information was provided. After calling on 4 separate occasions to the customer service center, and twice being promised someone from Conn's would be calling me in reply, I still have no tracking information for this order. It has now been 2 weeks since the order was placed and I have no information in regard to the shipment date of my item. Very displeased with the quality of service and care from this company.
A few hours after posting this review, I received an e-mail from Conn's with a FedEx tracking number. I was quite surprised to find that my package had been marked to ship a week ago today, but had never done so. After once again contacting Conn's, they attempted to place the blame on FedEx and claim that the package had already been shipped. I then contacted FedEx with the tracking number and was informed that they were expecting the package, but they had never received it and therefore it was not yet entered into their system. My experience with Conn's continues to go from bad to worse.
Well, after being promised a delivery date that has now expired 2 days ago, I finally received a valid tracking number. The item will arrive tomorrow, 3 weeks after the order was purchased. Conn's has be the most unorganized and unprofessional company I have ever purchased from. I will never use this web site again and would highly recommend others to avoid shopping with Conn's.
So, several weeks after this order was finally completed, Conns responds and asks me to contact them at 1-***-***-****. After, and this is no exaggeration, 6 transfers and about 15 minutes of holding, I was then given another number to call because no one at this number could do anything to help me. Once again, this is the most unorganized joke of a company I've ever had the misfortune of dealing with. Why ask me to contact you a month after the order was completed only to once again give me the telephone run around?
Finally spoke with someone at the second number. While this woman was much nicer than any of the other customer service reps I had spoken with up until this point, she admitted to me that she wasn't' sure why Conns had asked me to contact them. Although it was nice to speak with someone that sounded professional, the lack of communication within this company is frightening from a consumer's perspective. "
