"Absolutely horrible service! Promised shipment in 3-5 days. After two weeks and a half dozen inquiries, I STILL have no idea if they ever even shipped the product. Cost Captain is not worth saving a few bucks when they don't ship as promised and refuse to update you on shipping. "I ordered a scale on November 11th and paid an extra $5.00 to get it shipped within 3-5 days. I never received a track number so I didn't know the status of my purchase. I had to send two emails about receiving a track number and this is after my item should have been here. I never got reimbursed for the $5.00 extra I paid to get it shipped and it was well over a week before I had my item. I am not using costcaptain again, they seem so unorganized and do not ship on time."

"I ordered a Christmas gift (asus netbook) for my mom on December 18. I was excited because I don't live in the same state as her and unlike pretty much everywhere else costcaptain.com offered shipping. My account was charged and then the next day the charge went away. I checked my order status and it said "pending." Then I was charged again and it still said "pending." I wrote and email on the 22nd that was never responded to. Christmas came and went, and I received no shipping information. I called on the 26th, and was astounded by how rude the woman on the other line was. At this point the order status changed to "waiting on customer response/clarification" she told
Me that the product was out of stock and she had NO idea when or if the product would be restocked. I cancelled my order. Now on the 28th I still don't have my money back to order my mom's Christmas gift. I will NEVER use or recommend this site."

"Boy, do these guys suck. Ordered a case for the Nexus 7 on December 5, and my card was charged on December 11. December 20 arrives, no order. Two emails and an unreturned phone call later (with the threat of a dispute with my cc company), I get a letter from a "Ton" - on 12/27 - stating that they sent me an email on 12/19(not received)asking if I still wanted to wait for the item, as it was out of stock with no date of restock available. As it was to be a xmas gift, heck no!

"Buyer BEWARE! If you call to inquire about the status of your order you will be put on hold for five minutes and then dumped into voicemail. No one ever replies to messages left on voicemail. I sent several emails and never received a response. I ordered a Wii and several days later received an email telling me because of the high demand they could not guarantee delivery before Christmas and if I wanted to stay in the queue. I opted to wait it out. When my credit card was finally charged a few days later I assumed the order was about to ship. I never received an update and going to their website only told me it was still in processing. I tried calling and emailing. This company does not have any customer service. I will now have to dispute the charge with my credit card company and reorder from a reputable vendor. Save yourself a lot of trouble and aggravation and find someone else to order from. They will take your money and you will never get anyone to respond to inquiries.
12/28/2012: In response to CostCaptain, if you read my review, I was well aware that the Wii would most likely not make it in time for Christmas. I was willing to wait for delivery. My beef with your company is that phone calls were dumped into voicemail after five minutes of waiting and no one ever returned calls to messages left. I also emailed you to inquire about the status. Again, no reponse. You charged my credit card yet I could not get anyone to have the decency of communicating with me on the status. I did cancel the order and have been told I have to wait 7 to 10 business days to have my credit card credited. I know for a fact this is bull and that you could credit my account immediately. This just allows you to hold onto my money for three weeks for nothing. Again, BUYER BEWARE!!!!!!
January 21, 2013: As of now, CostCaptain STILL has not refunded my money. I was sent an email over three weeks ago telling me they cancelled my order at my request and would issue a refund in 7 to 10 business days. DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THIS COMPANY."

However the nagging for a review has really turned me off to buying from them. I am likely to block all email from them at this point. The product was as advertised.
