With the ice storms and everything there was a slight delay in my order but I thought the order didn't go through so I ordered the product again. Well in less then an hour I got a letter explaining the predicament the company was in and how I ordered 2 of the same thing. I know for a fact 99% of the company's in the world would take advantage of me and charge me 2 times and send me an excess block. The service was great and my only complaint is the website has no place to check order status. "

"Made my first purchase from DangerDen over the holidays. Ordering and shipping both went very well, recieved everything in a timely matter and it was well packed. Craftmanship on the Res seems to be top-notch but I have run into a problem with the water block itself. One of the screws that holds the acrylic/lucite top to the copper bottom was cross-threaded pretty severley, bad enough that the screw is almost 1/8" from being seated fully, providing no pressure on the top in that area. I was kicking around exchanging this block for the RBX but have run out of time on the project at this point so I will have to make it work somehow. Thanks for the great service DangerDen.. "UPDATE: Teri at DD contacted me about my problem and offered to provide replacement blocks with no shipping charges in either direction. The new blocks look GREAT -- exactly what I expected. I love it when a company actually takes responsibility for its mistakes, so I'm revising my rating upward.

I found the Danger Den ordering process to be somewhat cumbersome and in need of usability work.

Additionally, I was very disappointed in the condition of both the Maze4 GPU and 875P Z-chip blocks that I ordered. The DD site states "Machined Lapped to 600 grit Final Lap to 1200 grit," but it's apparent from visual inspection that neither block was ever lapped with 1200-grit abrasive. (Perhaps they substituted with 12 passes of 100-grit?) Both blocks have numerous scratches that can be felt with a fingernail, and neither is suitable for mounting without substantial additional lapping. In contrast, the block I ordered from D-Tek arrived in perfect condition, and with a much better finish than I expected.

Definitely not what I expected from Danger Den, and I probably will not order from them again. :(
P.S. I sent DD a pre-order question on 18 DEC 03, and STILL have not received a reply.

"Ok, so on dec 17, 03. I decided to purchase a ehiem 1250 and a RBX brasstop for amd. When i recived this (dec 22nd) i found the exact items i orderd, well packaged with lots of foam peanuts for added protection. Upon filling and bleeding my w/c system i did find one flaw, the RBX i recived LEAKED, it didnt just dribble it sprayed out the side. Instantly i called up DangerDen and they had a new one sent out. Well today is friday and i recived it, WOW does this thing rock or what. I havent heard of dangerden not putting blocks together badly so i would definatly buy from them again.
