"BEWARE this company. It resells low-cost products of questionable quality, and when they turn out to be defective, will not accept them back. In my case it was a toner cartridge - 2 of 3 worked OK, the other did not at all. Keeping it safe until needed, in my dry cool closet for a few months apparently disqualified me from a return. It's defective, doesn't print well - and now Databazaar.com won't accept it back. No matter it's defective, and I have lost the purchase price. Now that I've searched, I see you can find lots of items at better prices - don't shop here!!

"Ordered 3 HP compatable toners. We received them damaged and 2 were remanufactured. Returned these and received back 2 compatable and 1 remanufactured. Returned and received remanufactured again. One month later and we have finally received all toners as ordered. Customer service is mostly ok. They definitely helped us, but each time the customer service rep tried to convince me that I received what I ordered. At the time their website said, "This item is compatable, not remanufactured." The last time I called in the website had been changed so that it did not say that anymore. Wish I had found the ink and toner reviews prior to purchasing. Definitely do NOT recommend this seller."
"I ordered a Lexmark compatible inkjet cartridge as a spare and did not open it until May 2009. Right out of the box no ink was being delivered to the printer when installed. I called customer support (located in India) and they refused to replcae the defective product by telling me it only had a 30 day guarantee. I will NEVER patronize this vendor again!!!"
"DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY. I bought 3 inkjet cartridges three months ago. None of them worked. Customer service authorized a return for a refund. I returned them promptly. After 10 weeks, three calls and many promises they have yet to credit my account. I am resorting to filing an official dispute with my credit card company. This is a horrid dishonest company. They ought to be put out of business."

"I ordered 10 HP data cartridges, Databazaar.com sent me 10 refurbished Maxell data cartridges (no factory seal or packaging, dings and scratches on the plastic shells, etc.). I have now been trying to get an RMA issued for almost 4 weeks. After several emails and calls and I am still being 'promised' a RMA. This is the second time this place sent me a refurbished product instead of new. I should have learned my lesson the first time. Do not buy from this merchant."
"I've always ordered ink cartridges from this company, and have never had a problem. The prices are competitive, they ship on time and the products arrive on time also. There have never been any damage issues.
Also, unlike Amazon, they show a customer service telephone number right on their email confirmation."
"I had purchased a replacement cartridge for my HP Laserjet 1020 printer. This was a back-up for when needed. When I installed the cartridge, it did not make clean printouts. I contacted the company to discuss the problem. I was told that I could not get the cartridge exchanged or get my money back since over 30 days had elapsed since purchase date. Basically I threw my money away with this purchase. I'd rather pay top dollar to Staples, Office Max, etc and know they will stand behind their product"

"I bought from databazaar because of the price. The website said all new, not refurbished. I opened package and the toner said remanufactured on it. I called customer service and they were willing to refund if I rtn it, but not if I already opened the package. Well, you can't tell that it's remanufactured because it only say that on the toner, not on the box! I had to use the product since I already spent 45.00. The ink made streaks on all of the copy pages. "
"I purchsed 12 COMC0362WN (black ink)from data bazaar and to date only 1 of 6 has functioned and delivered ink. Each time I replaced the cartridge with a different manufacturers and it worked. Data Bazaaar sells absolute junk and has so far cost me $58.70 (5x$11.74) for remanufactured ink cartridges that don't work. I suspect when I get to it, the remaining 6 will also not work."

"They sold a defective toner cartridge that was supposed to be new original. We attempted to secure a replacement or credit or refund via multiple telephone calls, livechat, and email. All we got were promises and no assistance. Their supervisor lied MORE THAN ONCE. "The first cartridge I received produced good quality print but made a clicking sound. I e-mailed and received an RMA# and instructions. I opted to have Databazaar ship the replacement cartridge immediately and hold my credit card number until the defective unit was returned. I affixed the RMA label and dropped it off at the post office. Databazaar claims they never received the defective unit and charged the full price of the cartridge. The replacement unit works fine but I could have purchased a new OEM unit for the price I paid for their two units. They need a RMA Policy that allows Databazaar and the buyer to track returns. I spoke to them via e-mail and by telephone to plead my case but it fell on deaf ears. Fortunately there are plenty of vendors out there that have similar products and hopefully better service."
