"I ordered a product on the 5th of March. On the 17th of March, 12 DAYS LATER, I contacted them via email because I had not heard of them. I threatened to dispute the charge if they did not respond to me.

Like scared rodents, they automatically canceled my order, even though I still wanted to follow through with the sale.

I only wanted an order update along the way.
12 days without a response.
WHO DOES THIS?

Anyone would be a fool to buy from this company.

"It seems that a majority of the comments posted are all the same MO. Place the order, take your money,respond after you e-mail,make a phone call to you and read off of prepared script and let you know that there is a back order. My sons's ordeal has been going on for over a month until 3-19-2010 when we were notified that the order was cancelled but a statement attached for our bank or credit card company takes 5-7 days for the refund to be complete. Let's go further about the company. Phone service is a laughable joke. How is it that the same cs rep is Nathan on all of the posts. Don't call us we'll call you. The best one is that this company actually responds to the negative posts. Be concerned with your customer service instead of the petty time and effort that your company uses to reply to the posts. My credit card/bank will be notified 0900 on 3-22-10 to let them know what has happened with this company, a complaint with the BBB and a dispute for charges to my card will be filed. I bet I get a faster response from this company faster than they can ship an order because of the negative comments. DO NOT order from this company if you value your MONEY,time and effort to do all of the leg work. TICK TOCK Dealer Cost Car Audio TICK TOCK.

As you can see their response came on a weekend when supposely their closed. The order was cancelled by me that is true but only after waiting over a month for the product and no shipping information.

Update no positive response nearly one month later. These guys are crooks and thieves! Do not purchase anything from this company,they will take your money and promise you they will take care of it. These weasals are first rate scumbags DO NOT even think of purchasing anything from these dirtbags.

"I ordered a new car stereo online but realized the next day that it would not fit my car. I tried calling DCCA but could not get through. As per their advice through their "on hold" voice recording, I eventually opted to use email.
I was delighted to find that my order/Visa was cancelled immediately and follow up emails were answered in a quick, timely and courteous manner.
In my particular instance, I found this company responsive and professional, therefore recommending it. They do need to improve on their phone service though.

"I placed the order on 2-24-2010 on 3-9-2010 I got an email saying the order shipped the next day I tracked the order and UPS had only received the billing info not a package so I sent an email to DCCA and they said the subs were out of stock but they would upgrade to the newer ones for the same price and ship them out that day so I said thats fine on 3-16-10 they had still not shipped so I wrote them again and they said if the tracking number hadn't updated by the 17th to let them know so on 3-18-10 I called actually talked to someone and found out the subs werent in stock he supposedly was gonna upgrade and ship them out yesterday and email me before he got off yesterday but still nothing. Ok they came through got my merchandise on 3-25-2010 and they upgraded my subs from pioneer 12's to Kicker Comp 12's at no additional charge. Way to go and thanks for pullin through DCCA."

"My purchase from Dealer Cost Car Audio was one of the worst purchasing experiences I have ever had. Weeks went by before they told me the product was on back order. Then when I threatened to cancel if it did not ship, they sent me an email saying my order shipped but they never actually shipped the product! They created a UPS label and never sent the product. I called to cancel the 4th of March after weeks went by with no refund I had to file a BBB complaint, dispute the charge with my bank, and write this review to get them to refund me. Minutes after writing my review they emailed me to please take it down. I told them I wont do anything until I get my money back, and POOF...the next day my money was on my card. Please make sure to check out the Southern California BBB report on DCCA, as they are rated an F and have hundreds of claims against them. Save yourself a lot of hassle and frustration and do not order from DCCA. "

"Ordered 3 items from this company. Recieved one of the items and the other 2 were back-ordered. I talked to the customer service rep and they were very helpful and very friendly and kept in contact with me. I am very please with their service. Honestly, i would love to buy from this company again. Great people, great customer service, and great prices. Cant go wrong with DCCA!!!"

"I finally received my money AFTER I told them I would be filing a fraud claim. I have no intentions of minimizing how frustrated I am with this transaction. DO NOT BUY FROM THIS COMPANY!!!!!

UPDATE: I still have not received my refund. I will be filing a fraud claim through VISA today.

I ordered an Alpine stereo for my husband for his birthday. Two weeks later, I checked my email looking for a tracking number so I could find out where my order was. It turned out, the order had never been shipped because it was not in stock with the company (DCCA). I emailed them to find out what was going on, and they replied that they were expecting to ship my order by the end of the week. The following week, I still had not received a tracking number, so I emailed again. Again I was told that they were still awaiting their shipment from Alpine, and that they hoped the order would go out within 3 days. Three days came and went, and of course the item never shipped. Finally I did some research and came to the conclusion that the company was never going to send me the product I ordered (even though they had debited my bank account on the day of the order, three weeks prior). I emailed to cancel my order, and after answering some seemingly needless questions, I received two emails stating that my order had been cancelled and to wait 3-7 business days for my refund to be processed through my bank. I am on business day 5 and still have not received any money. If I do not see a credit in 2 days, I will be filing a fraud report through VISA.

"It is standard business practice to not bill a customer until the item(s) has/have been shipped and/or if the item has been back-ordered to let the customer know right after the order has been placed. When I called DCCA and miraculously connected with a customer service person, he told me it was on back-order - SAME STORY AS EVERYONE ELSE!!!


Their customer service is poor, I highly recommend they invest in some better reps and dedication. Maybe then they would have better customer ratings. My bank has already gotten my money back for me.

I'm telling you, PLEASE DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THESE GUYS!!!

"VERY UNRELIABLE COMPANY. THINK TWICE. I placed my order on 2-7-10 waited a week and no email had been sent by dealer cost saying they had mailed my items or shipping info on them so I emailed a couple days later and they said my items would ship soon they were waiting one of items that had been backed ordered. Which when my order was placed they made no mention of. A couple more weeks passed with no delivery and no shipping info, so I emailed again and they said they were still awaiting the back ordered item but it would be there in a day or two so I waited. I emailed again a week later and told them to cancel my order they told me it was getting ready to ship so I kept my order it has now been another week with no shippemt info and no item in my hands. Emailing again and will definetly cancel my order. Very unrealiable company. Don't use."

"Wow! Seems like I will have to go talk to my bank and lawyer as well. I ordered a product kenwood in-dash to be exact I recieved a confirmation but I cant talk to anyone on phone called all day today. I even sent email requesting tracking number.Will keep everyone updated. To Dealer Cost Car Audio I really do need my product ASAP if its not in stock or will be weeks before you get it I'll simply do a refund as I have my installation already set up Thanks

Ok after posting this review above Simon has given me a call. (3/12/10) 10:08pm Thanks Simon for the call back.I look foward to hearing something Monday (3/15/10).Will keep everyone posted. I understand that your company place thousands of orders.But your customer service needs to be updated how can you do buisness and keep your customers happy if you cannot communicate just saying

Just cancelled my order not going to say this is a bad company to deal with I had no choice my appt for my installation is on wed 3/17 the rate things are going I would never have got my item on time if it wasnt for that I would have had no problem waiting due to the fact that DCA were saving me lil over 200 bucks even with this lil problem I think I would try this company out again and would recommend to anyone that has the time to wait on items Thanks again Simon at least you tried to help me

"These guys got a hustle going on, i'm surprised they haven't been shut down, and I'm really upset that it was under a sponsored link. These people scammed me for 215 after the 10th email of trying to get my subs i just wanted my money back they say within 3-7 business days still no money, weres my money dealer cost audio? On my way to the bank to dispute hopefully the emails and this site will help, so in conclusion go somewhere else!"
