"On feb.22,2010 my son ordered a set of speakers from this company he is 19 they took his 544.00 from his bank account. they told him he would recieve them in 3 to 7 days to this date nothing. he has requested his money back 2 times by email and they said it was on its way they even went as far as sending him a tracking number.that is all it is a number UPS has never recieved the product.if he does not get his money back soon i will file all court documents and file a complaint with the better business.they have phone setup but they dont take any calls your placed on hold. please do not do business with this company its ashame they would steel from a child 19 is still a child. i will continue to right reviews as long as it takes to get his money back.i would like to join in on the class action lawsuit let me know what i need to sign at ****@****"

"After waiting 10 days for my Pioneer car receiver(no email messages) I called them to find out whatz going on and cancel.

They said no problem and sent me a reply email message indicating they were going to refund my credit card.

Well it's been another 11 days and no refund. I've made repeated calls only to be on 'HOLD' 20+ minutes(never got through)!

At this point all I can do is turn it over to Discover Card and let them handle it.

DO NOT, I repeat, DO NOT attempt to buy from these people!!!! They have no products or customer service skills!!!

Rather check out AUDIO WAREHOUSE EXPRESS, they've got the same great prices and the products instock. This is were I ultimately got my Pioneer receiver from. Fast shipping and live people to talk to!!!

UPDATE: These guys read these reviews. Within 15 minutes of writing the above review I received a call from Nathan. They said my refund was sent to Discover Card this morning, after waiting 11-dayz! So I'm giving them a chance & holding off contacting Discover Card. I'll again update this review if and when I get the refund.

"Well i placed my order and checked my email a few days later no shipping info that worried me so i tried to call C.S no answer so i sent an email stating no shipping info reply its back ordered ok i got suspicious then offered a different stereo now waiting on reply for a stereo thats in stock if nothing happens in two days will be calling bank to file dispute i will update Ok they sent me my stereo its great i have no complaints "

"I have been waiting almost 8 months on my refund! They have screwed me around and around this long! I am filing a claim with theyre court jurisdiction and i already have the papers sent to the sherriff to take them to court! I have multiple legal binding agreements through email! I have enough evidence because every email is saved! I WANT MY MONEY if i do not get it i will let everybody know the court date and you can feel free to show up urself as you want! Do not provoke them and do not put down there company they can use that against you in court! Remain calm and do this the legal way and you could get your money bak and more for the pain and stress the company put us through! Dcca if it is not inmy account by the time itold you then i will post the court date on here IMEDIATELY thank you and have a wonderful day!
even though they have been provided with information stating that i am going to take them to court they still have not responded to any of my emails trying to prevent this situation!

"I order a viper 5902 on january 16th an has not recieve as yet my card has been credit, i call and email them, and their are saying it is back order i am asking for a refund to my card, these people or company are crooks something has to be done, its unfair that they take your money and nothing is done about it , i can not lose my $339.00 so i am seeking legal advice."

"Same story as everyone else - item not in stock and I was given the run around for weeks (ordered Dec 31). Finally I asked to cancel and was told 3-7 days for Visa to refund. It's been longer than that and still no refund showing. They will feed you BS as long as they can. DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THIS SCAMMER!!! Been reported to Visa, will soon be reported to BBB and authorities.

Scammers will get what's coming to them.....


UPDATE: It seems if you complain loud enough you will get your refund. I was contacted about 5 minutes after posting here and asked to remove my post. I refused and eventually was told that the refund would show up on Monday/Tuesday. Well to my surprise it did! However I definitely would not do business here again - not worth the headaches!!

"THIS COMPANY IS, OR IS ON THE VERGE, OF BEING FRAUDULENT!

WARNING!! DON’T BUY FROM THIS COMPANY! WARNING!!

Here’s my case: 06-Dec-09 order Christmas gifts of a amplifier and sub-woofer. Total cost: $ 708.99. Noticed that they took the money, from my Visa, on the same day as the order. Peculiar, but thought maybe this is the way they work. After a couple weeks, got a little nervous about the Christmas presents not being here and emailed them. Their reply, “waiting on woofer to come in”. I replied back, send the amplifier as something needs to be under the tree for my son’s Christmas. I received the amp , two days before Christmas. Upon explaining to my son that the woofer was on back order, he took the amp to his room to open. Upon opening, he found that all four warranty seals were broken. We took pictures and emailed them to DCCA asking “what gives”? They responded that this is normal that the warranty seals typically break in shipping. I was suspicious, but decided to wait and test the amp out as I was certain the woofer would be in soon to test it. Two weeks go by and I again emailed the company and Robert states the woofer is still on back order and should be in any time. I waited, sent several more emails out and still no woofer. On 06-Feb-10 I sent an email requesting a refund for the woofer. Robert asked “is the amplifier OK”? I told him it was rather difficult to check without the woofer, but I reserve the right to confirm it’s proper working condition once I get another woofer. I asked how long before I can expect a refund on my VISA, his reply “2-3 business days”. No refund so I again sent in a request for a refund (22-Feb-10) and was told 5-7 days. As of this date, 04-Mar-10, I have contacted my card company and was told I had to give them 30 days before a dispute could be levied. Also, 60 days is the maximum time limit to make a dispute from the original purchase (although they are waving this for me as I’ve been a customer since 1995).

STAY AWAY FROM THIS DEALER, THEY ARE FRAUDS!

UPDATE: After complaining to the local BBB in DCCA's area, they have rebutted my claim of fraud and not having refunded my money. They "lied" to the BBB and evidently will lie to anyone. There is action on way to establish a Class Action Suit against these frauds. I have already contacted the AG of California and my state AG (NC). Since this type of transaction takes place over state lines, we will next contact the US AG.

FIGHT ON TO RID THE WORLD THESE CONS!

As for the rebuttal from DCCA, they are full of...well y'all know what they are full of.

THEY ARE FRAUDS AND SHOULD BE IN JAIL!

Contacted my Bank VISA and a dispute is in progress. Monies will be refunded, one way or the other. Likewise, I have sent all correspondence to the Attorneys General of California and my state, NC. Each of y'all should send a "basic" email to the Attorneys general of California too!

"DO NOT BUY FROM THIS PLACE!!! I placed an order on 2/3/10 for a product that they did not tell me was on back order until April (as I found out from another source 2 weeks later). I asked for the order to be cancelled and fully refunded on 2/16/10. They replied back on 2/17/10 and said the money would be back to me in 3-7 days. It has now been 10 BUSINESS days and still nothing. Contacted them again and they said that Visa takes 10 business days. How does it take mere seconds to take my money yet more than 10 business days to return it? I have contacted the local BBB and my bank.

They are Deluders and Purloiners!!!! They informed me by email that they do not like being called “CROOKS” as stated in the previous review. If it walks like a duck, quacks like a duck… it’s not a chicken! The only difference between this company and a Pyramid Scheme is the fact that they are not letting anyone else in on the profits. They take your money for a product they don’t have, string you along for as long as they can, make a few BS testimonials to make themselves look legitimate, when you complain they try to reverse it on you, and then delay the refund process until their “BILLING CYCLE” happens. I have contacted the local BBB and my bank... you should too! Also, the address that they have listed on their website is for pet supply store in Santa Ana, California. The phone number listed on their site is located in Irvine, California. They can’t even be truthful about their location.

As with all the other reviews, I got the email from them trying to make me out to be the bad person... followed up by a nice Customer Service Representative both asking me to remove this review. He tries to smooth you over by asking what he can do to get you to pull your review... I'm not as you can see!

He offered a confirmation fax showing that did make the refund transaction on 2/16/10 (per his email). I did receive the fax, but conveniently the settlement date/time and Authorization submittal date/time were omitted. He tries to make you out as the LIAR with the same canned responses. It’s very methodical and has worked very well for him, but it won’t last long. I received my money back on 3/3/10, which is 12 BUSINESS days. He is also supposed to call me to confirm that I got it… There will not be any need to, so don’t!

By the way, per Bazooka, the BTA10250D-DE that I tried to order from you will be on backorder until December 2010... your site does not show it out of stock... even in the checkout cart. All of his competitors show out of stock and will not allow you to add it to the cart. Drop-shipping requires that you actually check the manufacturer's availability first BEFORE taking the customer's money... not the other way around.

Here is the answer to the question on your phone system and your web page ,"why pay retail when you can pay dealer cost!"... SO THAT YOU CAN ACTUALLY GET THE PRODUCT THAT YOU ORDERED AND NOT HAVE A MONTH OR MORE OF HEADACHES WAITING FOR A REFUND!!! BUY FROM AN AUTHORIZED DEALER!!! Go to the manufacturer’s website and they will show you their authorized dealers!

"Ordered ALPINE PXE-H650 from Dealer Cost Car Audio last year. They charged my credit card on 22nd Nov 2009 when item was never in stock. Never notified me regarding item being out of stock. About a month later email them asking where is item and was told no stock yet. Asked why was credit card was charged when item was not yet in stock. Sales manager robert replied and said this is correct and said "no stock yet". 2 months later asked Robert to contact Alpine to see when will stock be arriving, he said few days time. A few weeks after that contacted him again and ask what happen. He says "still on backorder"?? It is now 15th March 2010 and still no item. Will keep this review updated on more delays

My mistake was not researching before buying off Dealer Cost Car Audio. Pls do research on any business to see if there are any customers complaints before purchasing off the net.

"I bought a in dash stereo for $650 in August. I was told it was out of stock for months. I then asked for a refund. Finally after four more months I was told I was getting a refund. This was a lie as well. It has been six months since they took my money and I have got nothing but lies. You should never under any circumstances do business with this company. They are thieves. There is no better way to describe them. I would gladly join a class action law suit with all of the others that they have stole from."
