"Don't lost your time with this company, I stay hours on phone trying to talk with customer service and nobody answer the phone.I never receive the shipping confirmation only the charges. Better pay extra and have no problems

"This place is unbelievable!I ordered a product which just happened to be on "backorder" but didn't find out until after I placed the order.They immediately charged my card,same story as most of the others on this site.I got the runaround from the so-called sales manager for a few weeks then I filed a complaint with BBB.They agreed through the BBB to refund my money.It's now been four weeks since the BBB claim and still no refund.I just contacted my bank just in time to dispute the charge.I cannot believe these crooks can get away with stealing peoples money like this,it's disgusting!Take my advice and many many others,STAY AWAY!"

"Man Man Man All the reviews all of what these people on this site are saying is true to the T let me tell you I only with i would have found this site before giving dealer cost car audio one thousand of my hard earned dollars. I ordered a radio some kicker wire a kinetik battery and all that good stuff and assuming these guys were on the cool had an appointment to get an install done so of course i needed them in a timely manner, I read on there site "most purchases ship 24-48 hours" im like cool plenty of time right, WRONG all i see is payment processed but no tracking no. so day three i get curious and send an email i get the same typical response from robert as everyone else "the item had to be shipped from another warehouse so its taking a little longer" that bought him a day until i realized unless this thing is in Haiti it should be here because it doesnt take that long to ship anything across the U.S. i find this site and IMMEDIATELY dispute the charges I encourage anyone who has ordered from these people to do the same do not wait the bank gave me my money back so i will let DCCA deal with the bank. Their GM asked me to remove the despute but thats not gonna happen.

"Placed my order on the 17th and my credit card was charged immediatly. Sent an email inquiring as to the status of my order on the 21st which was double the sites stated usually ships in 24 to 48 hours, but still within the 7 business days. And received a very short response that in my opinion did not come close to answering my question. Then I found this review site and started to worry. Sent another email as to the status of my order and my worries about be defrauded. Robert the manager also responded to this email that day and assured me there was no fraud, but I could cancel if worried. Through back and forth emails with Robert I was told two of the three items were not in stock, but Robert offered to Upgrade both items at no cost to complete the order. Had Ups site showing billing info received on the 25th on the 26th no status change. I again emailed Robert asking why the package has not been given to Ups. Robert responed that couldnt get on the truck on the 25th. but swore it went on the truck on the 26th. 27th no change on Ups site then after midnite there it was in in transit and showed Ups did have it since the 26th. Now the 29th received the package and everything is there that should be and all new in the box. Changing my original review of 1 to a 4 only because I had to start all contacts with Robert, But Robert did complete the order and stepped up with the upgrades to satisfy this customer."

"DO NOT ORDER FROM THIS COMPANY! IT IS A SCAM! I ordered a Viper 5501 remote starter on 12/31/09. My credit card was charged immediately, but never heard anything from them after that. I sent them an email on 1/14/10 to find out the status of my order. I got the same runaround as everyone else about the product being "backordered". "Robert" said it was on "backorder" from Viper and I should receive it in 2-3 days. 6 days past, still no word from DCCA. So I sent another email on 1/20/10 asking what was going on with my order. Got a phone call from Nathan who left a lengthy message about it being on "backorder", and a million other excuses at to why I hadn't received it yet. Also, he told me a different story than Robert. I emailed DCCA back and asked them to cancel my order immediately. Telling them that I was tired of their delay tactics, and felt I was being scammed. I received an email back from "Robert" with an "attitude". 3 more subsequent emails that were rude and unprofessional...calling me uneducated because I brought this site to his attention. I managed the top criminal defense law firm in Chicago for 20 years, surely I can't be that uneducated...can I Robert? I received an email saying that I will be receiving a credit in 3-7 days. I will let you know if I do, otherwise, I will start the process with my credit card company, lawyer, whoever I need to...to get my money back! How do they stay in business? Only wish I would have seen this site before I made the purchase! UNBELIEVABLE!!!!
Check out the Better Business Bureau report on this company. As I write this, 563 complaints and a rating of "F". Should speak for itself!

"I placed an order for some sound proofing DYNAMAT material over 2 months ago. When asked about my order the manager "Robert" first told me it was on back-order but would be available in a couple of weeks. The second time I asked, I was told "3-7 business days". Finally after waiting another 2 1/2 weeks I call and waited on the phone for 18 mins. before I finally got a human being. I was told they didn't have any in stock and he really had no idea when it would arrive. I changed my order to a different material after he verified it was confirmed "in stock". I was also told it would be sent "over night" since I've been delayed and would have the shipping information later that same day. That was a week ago and still no shipping information. I would never recommend them to anyone. If I don't have my shipping information in 2 days I'll start the fight to get my money back.......DON'T USE THEM!!!! IT'S NOT WORTH IT!"

"Sounds like the same drill everyone else said. I ordered on the 7th, received an immediate order confirmation, my card was charged immediately, but got no tracking number.

Five days later, on the 12th, I asked for a tracking number. Got an immediate reply that the tracking number would be sent automatically when received. I asked if they were in stock. Robert said they were not in stock but he expected them within two to three business days. I was under the impression that the speakers were in stock when I ordered them. Woops...

On the 18th, I asked Robert if the speakers were in stock and he said he expected them within one to two business days. So eleven days after I ordered the speakers, I canceled the order today, the 19th.

I received notice from Robert that my account will be refunded within one to two days. We'll see....

"This store SUCKS!!! DO NOT BUY FROM THEM!!! I placed my order and they charged my account immediately. I was told I would receive tracking information which I didn’t and still haven’t. I emailed them and got a response from Robert the(Sales Manager) and he played stupid giving me the run around stating to wait 1 to 2 days, still no tracking information. I requested to cancel the order which he played stupid again simply ignoring my request. I had to dispute the charges with my bank and still going through the process…..How are they still in business. DEALER COST CAR AUDIO @&$*#%! SUCKS!!! "

"BEWARE! I placed an order on December 1, 2009 for a Kenwood DVD player. My credit card was promptly charged but I received no notification regarding the order status. I emailed Robert ("Sales Manager") requesting a status update a week later and was informed that the dvd player was "pending, just delayed from Kenwood". After waiting 3 more weeks with no response I emailed Robert and cancelled the order expecting that the original charges to my credit card would be reversed. A couple of emails went back and forth to confirm the card number and I received confirmation from Robert that the order was cancelled - BUT NO CREDIT! A week goes by, I email Robert - WTF, where's the credit? He replies - Should see it right away. 4 more days go by - NO CREDIT YET. I finally had to contact the bank and file a dispute of the charges. I did email Robert and informed him that I would strongly discourage everyone on the internet from ordering from his Company."

"****This company is awful to deal with and can not get anyone on the phone****

I order this product on Decemeber 10th the money was removed from my bank account on December 14th. I sent my first email on Dec 14th, received one back on Dec 14th We should see tracking within 1-2 days or less. Is that okay? I sent another email on Dec 16th need a ETA, received one back We expect 2-3 business days or less. Will that be okay? Then another email from Dealer Cost, Last day to make it before Christmas to you would be Friday. We are still waiting for more ofthe 5601 back in stock. I sent another email on Dec 18th, I need to know if you received the 5601 in stock. I can't believe that your company would take my money without the product in stock and you still have that product online not showing out of stock. Can't get anyone on the phone. I received an email from them The 5601 is still delayed from Alpine. We expect it back within 1-2 days or less.I sent another email the 12/22, 12/23, 12/29, 1/1 and now today 1/8. Still no product 4 weeks later.

"wow what a headache. ordered from them way back on august 7 and just now decided to right a review because its unreal that people are still getting ripped off by this site. ordered an enclosure and amp and never got the shipping info like everyone else. then i came across reviews and immediately wanted to cancel my order. but he came up with a great excuse. the enclosure was special order and its a little hard to cancel that part of the order. HA i waited like the smart person i am. then decided to cancel it for real. it took almost 6 emails to get them to cancel the order and a little over a week from the initial attempt to cancel my order. so on 8-26 the order was cancelled. i had to email them for another month and a half about getting my money back. I had my bank initiate a chargeback (this seemed to be the only thing that worked for everyone else) and i got an email that seemed a little angry that i would do such a thing. Like i was in the wrong for trying to get my money back??! someone even called me and wanted to talk to me saying that it looked like i was trying to "double dip" that i was the one trying to steal money! ha! the nerve. thank god my bank got my money back. DO NOT ORDER FROM DEALER COST CAR AUDIO! I'm not saying they will steal your money but it sure as heck feels like they are trying to. Too bad they dont have any reviews on their website under the product like a normal company would do. "

"I'm in the same boat as others here. All I've been asking for is shipment notification on my order and there appears to be no movement. When I inquired about the order on Jan 2nd I was told 2-3 business days or less. It's now Jan 7th. So I decided to come here to see what's up (like I should have before placing my order) and look at that.... 100's of others out there just like me. It does indeed appear that this company is out to make interest on money and has no interest in actually fulfilling the orders. BUYER BEWARE of this company for sure. I have asked that they refund my order and will be disputing the charge if I do not see a credit to my account by Monday morning.

Update: I received an email stating my order was refunded. I was informed that they had a problem with their supplier. It's too bad they weren't up front with this information to begin with.

"Well what can i say.? it´s been 8 months and i didn´t get my order and i didn´t get my money back, don´t do business with this guys, PLEASE, they canceled my order after 6 months, and told me that my money was refund but like everything else from them, it was a lie, and something else, when they canceled my order they told to erase my review in order to not get in problems with them, I said to myself, more problems.?"

"Placed the order a week before the holiday hoping to have the Viper 5901 wrapped for a gift. Few days went by and no word so I emailed Customer Service and was informed that I would receive the item in time. Doubting I again emailed the day before Xmas Eve knowing that no shipments would be made on Xmas. Customer Service again replied that they would have the alarm to me before the holiday and that they were simply waiting for a shipment from DEI (manufacturer), Overnight shipping would be paid for by them in order to make this possible. Blown away by this offer (worth $45) I held tight and was delighted to receive the alarm on Xmas Eve Overnighted to me just in time to give it as a gift. I would recomend this level of customer service to anyone."
