"Dont even consider this website as a possibility. I ordered from here thinking it was ok because my friend reccomended it (Who does professional car alarm installations) and he used the site awhile back with no problems, so I made a order for a viper 5901 from these guys thinking all was well. Then out of just plain curiosity I check resellerratings to find the horrible recent ratings towards this company. So I immediatly emailed the company asking about my order since it had been 7 days and i was supposed to have tracking confirmation before that time. They say it will be shipped soon and tracking will be given to me, so I wait and i get a email the next day and Rober the sales manager says it was Shipped and i check the tracking and its UPS and says billing info received, so i wait a day to make sure it was updated to shipped after awhile. It was not. So it was never shipped, all that was done was a label was printed for probably $5 of there cost maybe less to give me some comfort in thinking it was shipped. So i ask them why i was told it was shipped but it truely wasnt and I get a reply saying "Its actually on backorder but will be in soon" even though i was just told it was shipped the day before. So i ask for a refund, and he says it was canceled and the refund is coming, but I highly highly doubt it will. Luckily my girlfriends mom works with the bank of the card i payed with so I will be able to get my money back im sure since I saved the emails as well showing the refund was "supposed" to be coming. We'll wait it out and see, but this sounds exactly like all the other stories of people not getting nothing or a refund. Dont mess with em, i may get my refund in the longrun, but its still horrible service to put on the line with your cash"
"Everyone, do not even try. It's a scam! I ordered an item on Oct 15,2009 and they charged my credit card immediately after. Soon I learned they didn't have an item on stock. I was able to email back and forth with one person only who assured me the product was on the way. Every single day for 2 months. Early Dec I canceled my order but did not receive the refund, so I decided to dispute the charge. Good luck and don't be naive."
"I have sent numerous emails and called DCCA and all they gave me were empty promises. I have been very patient with this company. All I want is my ORION HCCA 15 I PAID FOR! I ordered and payed OCTOBER 10th 2009 and now its JANUARY 2010 and they still have not delivered my sub nore is there an update on when it will actually ship on there website. "We ordered from this company about three weeks before christmas, and since then have heard nothing but lies. We were first told the product was in stock and on the truck ready to be shipped out, a few days later after not recieving a tracking number and calling numerous times they told us the product had to be ordered before being shipped. Once we said we were going to cancel the whole order they told us the product would be shipped that afternoon, and it would be sent over night. We were then given a tracking number that only said the billing information had been recieved, but no product had been given to UPS to be shipped. Now almost a month later we still have not even had our product shipped out and have no information about what is causing the delay. We have talked to the same person over the phone (only about 5 times, even though we have called about 100 times) and everytime it is a new story about how it is coming. We would have understood if they told us it would be a delay due to the christmas rush, but the lies about how it is coming and to expect it in a few days was what made it the worst. This company is bad news, and I would absolutely not recommend ordering ANYTHING from them."

On lots of websites there were B.I.A.S reviews saying that Dealers Cost Car Audio would not go through with customers orders, but I myself took the risk regardless of what some websites say that Dealers Cost Car Audio are bad dealers. These guys are full of crap. Charged my credit card so I figured the item shipped. No contact in 2 weeks and no product. Emailed them to get tracking number and they don't have one, said they're waiting for it. Couple more weeks go by and still nothing. Asked for a refund and still got nothing. "
"Horrible experience thus far. I ordered my product (Pioneer car audio system) on December 16th. In the order conformation e-mail it says that I "would recieve a tracking number at least 7 days after purchase". I never did so I decided to call the company on December 28th. I waited on hold for aprox. 30 minutes. When I finally got ahold of someone, I asked about the tracking number and was told that the order would be shipped out THAT DAY. He also told me that they would send it on 2nd day air shipment that night and that I would get a 20% discount. I checked my e-mail the next day and STILL there was no tracking number. I called AGAIN on December 30th and asked AGAIN about why I never recieved a tracking number. Now, I was told that the product was shipped the night before by freight. When I asked about the 20% discount he said that he was putting it through right then. (why didn't he put it through and ship out my order when he said that he would?) Not to mention that I spoke to the same man everytime I've called... weird, huh?
I e-mailed the company tonight and told them that I expected my order to be cancelled immediatly including a full refund. A couple of hours later I recieved a reply telling me that my order was shipped and gave me a tracking number. IF I even get my product, I'm worried that it will be faulty and not work properly.
I can't watch the tracking number for about 24 hours so I'm not sure if the product was actually shipped yet. I will update once I can see this.
Overall, the e-mails are extremely vague and you WILL sit on the phone for 60+ minutes at times to talk to the same guy each time. This company worries me and I have NEVER had an experience like this EVER. It is very frustrating and will take up a lot of your time. I just can't wait for this all to be over. Updates to come.. "
"I ordered the Sony CDX-GT930UI - WINTER SALE 2009 from this website. There was nothing said that the product was backordered or anything. The only thing I got was an confirmation email. I kept looking on my account if the product was shipped. About one week later, the item was not shipped yet. I sent them an email asking about the status. The only answer was the product was backordered. Then, I understood and asked them again when the ETA would be. No answer, No reply. Two days later, I replied them my order confirmation email and asked them again about the status and the ETA. The only answer I got was the item was backordered. No ETA date at all. It looked like they tried to postpone the time and tried not to let the customer know what the situation was. So, on the next day, I sent them an email that I did not want the product from them any more. I just wanted my money back (which was charged at the time I purchased). I also explained why I wanted my money back. After that, they sent me an email that they cancelled my order, and they would refund my money back. It would take about 3-7 days for me to get my money back into my account. Until now, I do not see any penny back into my account from them. I had to call my bank and explained them what happened. They said that I still have to wait for another 10 days, and my bank will be able to refund the money to me.
This is the worst transaction online I have ever done. Please avoid this website. And, whoever have an authority to investigate this website, please carefully do it as soon as possible.

(i believe) for Christmas for my mom. They have great deal on all of there stuff. The only problim i had was the wait for my package and the lack of communication with customer service. I wish i had the package to give on christmas to give to my mother but i know things happen and she was ok with getting it a few day later. 'this company is a good company as long as you order what you need far enough in advance of when you need it. i do apologize for the previous statements i had posted. My package had arrived the very next day i had posted it and it has only been 3 weeks with a blizzard in between."
"AWFUL. There is simply no better word for my experience with this store. I ordered a car stereo for my boyfriend on Dec 10th, and they could not get it out in time for Christmas. At my first questioning as to the status, I was never told it was backordered. Then later, it was. Then it was in-stock, never on "backorder," but they were not able to get it on the UPS truck.
The worst part was they charged my credit card on the 10th of December. I've never dealt with a reputable company that charged before the item shipped. DO NOT ORDER from this company. LIES and EMPTY promises - and I never got my item - just canceled the order so that I may order it from another company.
UPDATE: Dealer Cost Audio refunded my money immediately and I am pleased at least with the speed at which this transaction occurred."
"This not a reputable company. Despite the bad reviews I decided to give the a chance. I placed my order on 11/30/09. I ordered 2 sets of Infinity speakers for my car. After a week of no communication whatsoever I contacted DealerCostCarAudio.com after I noticed they had charged my card. They then sent me an email stating the items had shipped when in fact they had not. I tried to contact them on several occasions to disuss the matter. They do not answer their phones and you can't leave a message. The phone message states that they are "experiencing unusually high call volume" and to call back at a later date. The high call volume is probably all of the unhappy customers. Only after I threatened to get the CA State's Attorney involved did I finally get some results. I cancelled my order and they supplied me with a confirmation number from VISA. I'll let you know when I get my money back."
"BUYER BEWARE. There are only 132 reviews here. Can you guess how many of them are good? These guys are the ultimate in trying to separate the average consumer from their cash without ever producing any goods. In October I ordered something for my daughter for Christmas. Adequate time, you would have thought. There is no information with regards to stock levels on their website, so it's really a crap shoot as to whether they are accepting orders for items that they have on their shelves. Essentially what they are doing amounts to fraud. These guys will accept your order regardless of whether they are holding your chosen item in stock, and then you will battle with them for months. In the meantime they will send you wrong shipping notices, fake shipping notices, and never appear to have any intention of even attempting to fill your order. Various of the posts here state that they have never received a refund. Others state that the dealer has attempted to palm them off with similar or alternate goods that they happen to have on their shelves.
I have been repeatedly lied to and misled by these sharks. Let's see if my refund ever arrives. PLEASE DO NOT ORDER FROM THIS COMPANY. There is a chance that they are taking orders for goods that they have never stocked, and counting on the fact that consumers will just forget about their order, thus providing Dealer Cost Car Audio with money for nothing - their stock in trade."
"DO NOT ORDER FROM THIS SITE!!!! They have the best prices on the internet for sure. But you will NEVER recieve your merchandise. I was originally told it was on backorder 2 weeks into the order. That was because I started complaining. Before that I was just told it was pending. And now it is 3 1/2 months later and I have no stereo and no refund. And yes of course they have an F rating the from the BBB. I should have checked that before I ordered from them. My mistake! Dont make it yours. I believe one of the other reviews, in that I believe they are taking peoples money and investing it while YOU wait. I have over 70 emails that I can post holding all the lies. I have been told since DEC 8 thats the warehouse is swamped with orders and that it would be a matter of days not weeks. Well guess what. It has been weeks not days, and still nothing. I have called twice this week and waited on the phone for over an hour both times and never got through. Contacting them by email is uselss. And they refuse to give you an extension to contact someone. Who cares about the three year warranty! I cant even get my stereo or my money. Can you imagine having to get this thing fixed by them?? Please do not make the same mistake I did. THIS IS A SCAM! Do not fall for it!! I will contact my credit card company now and report fraudulent practices by this place.
