"I just purchased a ChemBook 2500 after returning a Sager 4080. The company couldn't have been more helpful in facilitating the whole process. The Sager return hasn't even been received and they credited me it's purchase price towards the ChemBook. There was nothing "wrong" the the Sager. It was a great computer and I was sorry to see it go, but it was a P4 2.8 desktop chip and the cooling system was just too noisy for my uses.
Matt seconded my opinions about the noise and suggested 2 computers which would better fill my need for a quiet yet powerful machine. It's no surprise that the satisfaction ratings for discountlaptops.com are through the roof. I look forward to the arrival of my 2nd new laptop in a couple of days and assume all will work fine."

"In June 2003, I purchased a Sager NP5620-V from Discount Laptops. Matt Richards was extremely helpful in answering my questions about Sager and competitor products, with "prompt" e-mail and phone call replies. I was a bit reluctant in purchasing a computer that I have never seen, or from an internet dealer unknown to me. Matt gave me competitor websites to compare with other laptops and prices, and led me to other sources of information and reviews on laptops to ...ensure that I was an informed customer.
The Result: My order with Discount Laptops was promptly processed and delivered as promised! Also, I have never used a laptop with performance as good as what I experience with the Sager NP5620-V.
Subsequently, I've had a need for a replacement keyboard... I inquired with Discount Laptops by e-mail, and received a response in 8-hrs on how to order a replacement on discountlaptops.com. With a click on a part selection, ...logging on with my account-ID/password, and providing my Visa number... the order was placed, and promptly confirmed with an e-mail follow-up.
My only disappointment? ...I can't order a desktop from Discount Laptops!

"Just when I was about to submit *another* order for a Dell laptop, I started doing some research for other units. I came across http://www.discountlaptops.com by simply doing a google search. Their prices seemed to be very good, and I was getting a bit more "hardware" for my money. I had narrowed my choices down to two (2) units, and Matt offered to give his opinion as to the advantages of each unit. Not once during our phone call did he say "How soon are you buying?" or "What can I do to get your business?". He simply gave me some advice, told me how I could contact him, and that was it...
