"Amateurish company. I ordered a wiper switch for my '90 Jetta over the phone, as there were a couple possibilities, and their site had duplicates. Their "expert" told me he was sure which part was for my car, and shipped it. I thought I had found a good company - wrong.
I got the part, and it was NOT the right one. I called Drivewire up to arrange a return, and the "expert" simply said "hang on", and forwarded me to a voice mail box with no message, no description of who it belonged to. I hung up, as I had no idea where I had been transferred to.
I instead handled it via email, and after threatening to dispute the charges on my credit card, received an RMA rather quickly. I sent the part in the next day, and now, 75 days later, I finally received a partial refund (I disputed the charges a couple weeks ago).
So I basically paid a company in Lake Forrest to ship a useless part to me in San Diego, and paid again to ship it back to them. What a great experience. One I shall NEVER repeat, and tell everyone I know about.
AVOID this company.

Where does drivewire1 get his stories from? You clearly made all that up! I never called you back, not since originally asking for you to take your incorrect part back. Why would I EVER attempt an exchange when your "expert" couldn't even get it right the first time?
Incredible, first a company that sucks at what it does, then complete FABRICATIONS when faced with the truth!
I see how you work, you rip people, then tell them "exchange only" so they HAVE to spend their hard earned money at your rip-shop, then you rip them for %30, even if they never called to ask you to change it from store credit to a full refund.

"Terrible customer service. They told me my order had shipped but provided no tracking number. When I tried to contact them about the order, I got nothing but the run around.
They put me on hold forever, told me different stories about what was going on and logged off of their online chat in the middle of a conversation to avoid answering me.
It may seem early to be upset with them, but I am only asking for basic information about the order they say they shipped. If they were honest upfront, I would not be writing this.

"I didn't want to write a negative review about DriveWire. They had great prices on the items I ordered and seemed friendly when I talked to them.
However, it's been a month since I placed my order for a B&G S2K Suspension Kit. I am beginning to get the feeling that I am out $400.
When I did talk to the people at DriveWire over online chat, they seems to change their mind about what was happening, and told me they were shipping the items numerous times. Obviously, they have never shipped the B&G kit. I eventually skipped the middle man and e-mailed B&G directly. "Migs" at B&G e-mailed back promptly letting me know that they hadn't even received the parts for the kit until last weeks. Three weeks AFTER DriveWire had said the parts would be shipped!!
Not only that, but I no longer receive responses to any e-mail I send or when I try to chat with them online. I have NEVER been able to talk to anyone on the phone. Either I am on hold for a long time (upwards of an hour once) or the answering machine hangs up on me.
Hopefully, I will get what I paid or within the year, but it seems less likely every day.
EDIT 10-16-09 2:41 PM: Two hours later, I received an e-mail stating that the kit will be shipped today.
EDIT 10-30-09 2:36 PM: Still no sign of the parts two weeks after yet another e-mail stating they have been shipped. They haven't responded to my e-mails, either. I feel that I must contact my lawyer immediately to resolve this issue."
