"I would not recommend ECS at all for parts or tools. I purchased a set of Schwaben protective sockets, and the set I received was not complete. After contacting ECS about this, they ensured me a manager would pull the next set and inspect them to make sure the set was complete. The second set I received was still not complete. After contacting ECS again, I was told by whoever e-mailed me that they would personally go inspect a few sets of the sockets immediately to see if any were missing any pieces. That was the last I heard from them. Poor customer service and lacking communication abilities. Go elsewhere."

"Great company, great parts, great prices, poor customer service. I ordered parts on a Monday night for them to ship out on Tuesday and arrive on Thursday (I paid over $80 for two day shipping) because that Friday was the only day I had available the rest of the year to do that job. On Wednesday morning I logged on to make sure they were on schedule, I'm glad I did because my parts had not shipped yet. I called ECS and they told me the order was boxed and ready to go it was just waiting for payment because my original payment was denied( I had a confirmation of payment approval from paypal within 2 minutes of ordering), the gentleman I spoke with reran the payment and it went through that time but said it was a error on paypals end that didn't allow original payment. I asked about it arriving the next day and was offered an extra fee for next day shipping, I denied that offer because I'm a broke college student. I checked with paypal and confirmed authorization was monday night, called ECS back and talked to the same gentleman (who claimed to be a supervisor) and asked if there was any way they could help me get the parts I paid for in the time I paid for. I was told the extra cost was all he could do. So I informed him I was going to call paypal and we ended that call. I called paypal and while waiting on hold I received an email from that same "supervisor" saying "PayPal is not going to provide you with any support on this. Ill just upgrade your shipping to Next Day Air as a courtesy." While on the phone with paypal they informed me that ECS did try to charge me on tuesday but ECS did not provide Authorization for that transaction at that time.
Therefore ECS claimed it to be Paypals fault when it was theirown and only fixed the issue after I threatened to call paypal.
I do appreciate ECS providing high quality parts at great prices and wil continue to do business with them, however I will be doing my best to never pay for expedited sevices again due to it being such a headache to get what I paid for.
PS I did receive my parts on Thursday, however the box was ripped open and two strut boxes were ripped open as well (I know that is shipping error and not ECS) all parts were there with no damage so I did not report any damage

The chat happened to be available and it was fairly early in the morning. The guy on chat sent me the link and I ordered two of them and had them two days later. Really couldn't beat that service. "I've been a customer at Ecs for 6 Month Before running into this problem, every other order was PERFECT! I placed an order for a UUC "Performance Organic " clutch as well as a dual mass flywheel and installation kit for my E39 M5 from them on October 1st. It was stated that the part was not in the warehouse and that it would take up to 2 weeks to get back to me....What a drag already but I needed the clutch and i went ahead and ordered. Originally it was supposed to be shipped to me on the 17th. I called and stated I wasn't happy so the case manager They offered to have free direct overnight shipping when it was ready on the 17th of October. Well come the 17th and wouldn't you know it, the product was not in yet, So i called again and there was nothing he could do at the time, He said it was the Company Manufacturing the clutch UUC's fault. I found out that there wasn't much communication between the two offices and i was doing most of the footwork calling UUC for ECS. UUC told me the clutch was on its way to ECS in Ohio instead of directly being shipped to me as stated before and IT GETS WORSE!! I did not receive the clutch until the 22nd of October, clearly not overnighted and once i gave the parts to my Mechanic and he's got it on the lift and torn apart ITS THE WRONG CLUTCH!!! I called ECS while remaining composed and not yelling i explained that i was out an extra $300 in storage fee's for my car and explained everything professionally asking for Compensation on some level.They took time to explain UUC was normally late with shipments but rarely this bad and on top that, they normally do not reimburse shop fee's but would with proof of the invoice from my shop due to the circumstances. They spared no time to make things right and reimburse the $300 with a credit on their site, i couldn't be happier. Thank you ECS Tuning I'll be a customer forever!"

"I'd placed my order with ECS Tuning and shipment was scheduled to be delivered with USPS. When it was arrived, USPS requested additional payment for delivery. I connected EST about this addition and was advised to pay this charge to receive the parcel and to forward them copy of receipt to make adjustment. Two days later I found refund on my card for this charge!
