"I placed an order to rent two books. Only one of the books shipped. The other one says that the shipping is unavailable and orders in the state cannot be canceled. I tried calling three times but there was no option to talk to someone about the issues. I waited in the chat four times on different devices (a couple of hours each time) and every time it would get to a single-digit number and then would disconnect me. They charge the credit card that I used the full amount so if I don't get this resolved before my bill comes, I will have to file a claim and now I don't have books in time for class."

"I have used this service for several years to purchase and rent books for myself and my children. I have usually had good experiences. I ordered 2 texts 8.18.19 (order #9054625) and received 1on 8.24.19. I checked the status of the second book and it said it was being processed. I sent an e-mail not expecting a response until Monday (as it was the week-end). Monday no response. Tried to access the chat option that has always been available-it was disabled. Tried to call as it was offered as an option, but when I did I went to a recording that directed me to access the chat option-which they were certainly aware they disabled. Classes had started and I had no way to access help. I sent a second e-mail...no response and e-mail was the only option left. Supposedly the book is on its way according to the site-who knows? I don't know what's going on but with no customer service I will not use this service again. I hate it that Amazon is the only option left but they at least provide customer service. What arrogance to think you do not have to respond to customer concerns even though you have taken payment."

"I placed an order, was given an expected time frame for shipping, but the textbook never shipped. When I called them I was told "Oh, it's out of stock now. It was in stock when you ordered but we shipped all of those to other customers." When I asked when I could expect mine, since school has already started, I was told that the new shipment was waiting to be unloaded but "it could take awhile since it's peak season. We can't give you a timeframe." I pointed out that peak season is exactly when people need textbooks, and the CS representative started a heated argument with me. I have had amazing experiences with other book resellers. Don't waste your time with this unprofessional company."
"I placed my order on Monday, June 10th and was aware of the special processing of 1 to 2 weeks. Three weeks (only counting business days), I had to reach out myself to learn that there was a delay. No notice prior to that. It is going on another week (only counting business days) where I was told I would receive 2 day shipping. No, I don’t want a refund, I just want what I purchased."
