"I ordered the book over the weekend was promised the book the following Saturday and it came on Monday I got a failing grade because of this. I really needed the book Monday morning but came that afternoon. "

"Online subscriptions are not included with used books even though it says it in the title. I also received an online subscription code to biology book even though my book was Accounting, when contacted they said it was an error but I was free to sell that. "

"Honestly this website doesn’t deserve any stars! I tried it out because it offered the most for my books, but I see it was a bad idea. I turned my books in a while ago and two of them is still being reviewed! It doesn’t make any sense that it’s taking this long to get the money for my books! I recommend anyone to avoid this site because it takes a really long time to get reviewed and your money! "

Do Not Sell Your Books to Ecampus

"I am leaving this same review on as many websites I can find.

I have been dealing with this company since the middle of January and it has been a horrible experience all around. I "sold" a book to them and still haven't received payment. The cliche of wishing you could give less than one star most definitely applies here.

On January 30 I followed up with ecampus to find out the status of my payment. I was told by the agent that it would take 4-6 weeks after the book is received to receive payment. The books have to be reviewed and this review of the book takes 4-6 weeks. If I would have known that I wouldn't have sent them the book. Either way, they have the book so 4-6 weeks is what it is. I should have read the reviews here before I sent them the book so I will take the loss on that one.

Fast forward to 2/25. I still haven't received any updates from the company so I decided to reach out to them again. This time I feel I am getting the runaround. I was told by the agent that "our records indicate that your item has been received for us and at this time is under review after this process has to be check in. Once is check in please allow 3-5 weeks for payment." So one agent tells me 4-6 weeks and another says 3-5 weeks. Okay, this seems to be a little sketchy but I will continue to wait.

Now onto 3/8. I again chatted with the agent and was told that my book was STILL under review. I followed up the chat and heard the same thing. My book and payment is STILL under review. I called the company and was given a little more information. Apparently when books are under review it is because they send them to the publisher to confirm that book is authentic. Seems kind of like overkill but what do I know. The worse thing is instead of sending the book to the publisher when they receive it they wait until they have a decent amount of books to send them all at once for review.

This is probably one of the worst experiences I have had with a company. I usually don't do reviews. When I get bad service I just keep it moving and never use the service again. I feel like people must know what they are getting themselves into when they use this company to sell their textbooks. None of the agents have any power to do anything and are pretty worthless. This company does not send email updates. The chat option is basically worthless because none of the agents have any power and have been trained to just keep saying 3-5 weeks. It has been a trash experience. It isn't even about the money. I will be genuinely shocked if I ever receive the money owed for this book. I have no idea how they stay in business and I will never sell a book to them. I definitely won't be using them to buy any textbooks. I feel like their positive reviews are fake because the one and two star reviews are so real.

"Sent me the wrong book so I decided to send it back and ask for a refund. Got sent the right book after I already recieved my refund and bought it from somewhere else so I returned that one to sender and now they are trying to charge me a late fee saying I still have the book since because theycan’t keep track of their books and their customer service ****."

Garbage company never sell your books here

"I sent ecampus 200 dollars worth of books and I STILL haven’t received payment. This is absolutely ridiculous, it’s been over 5 weeks and they’ve had my books for over a month, it makes no sense how they still haven’t processed. Will never use this service again."
