Waiting a month for a refund

"Have contacted this company over 5 times regarding a $200+ refund that is supposed to be put back on my card. Every time someone finally responds (a week later) they say the refund will be processed but it never is. I'm about to file a complaint with the BBB and will NEVER use this company again. Beyond frustrating and unprofessional. Use Chegg. They actually have customer service. "

I apologize for any confusion this process may have caused you. Our records indicate that your refund was processed on 01/09/18, once your items had been confirmed as received and checked in. As your rental items were past due, we must first confirm that the items have been returned and received before a refund could be issued. Your credit to your card does take longer to process, but that is due to banking policies. Usually you should see the funds within 3-5 business days for the release date. If not, it is recommended that you contact your card company to confirm if the refund was received. Your in store credit shows that it was applied and you have even recently used it on another order service. In store credit will typically show immediately after check in, but refunds to the card are based on banking procedures.

Issues with Shipping

"Took way too long to ship; customer service questions were answered quickly, but, unlike any other company, they tell you to factor into shipping time all sorts of processing time that ended up doubling the time it took for me to receive my book. despite my concerns, no one at eCampus offered to do anything to speed up or improve my experience. very disappointed."

Great prices but small annoyances

"The prices for ecampus are great and this particular book had the best price around. However, the cashback they offer doesn't tell you until after you've rented or bought that you need $10 minimum to redeem it. Thankfully they offered a free $5 coupon to put me over that limit. The book arrived in a timely manner but it came in a package that can't be reused. It would be nice to get a package that I could return the book in instead of having to find another box for it. Other than that I'm pleased."

Slow shipping time

"I ordered 2 weeks before classes started, and learned the book would not ship until the day before classes started. Every other service I've used ships them out right away. I ended up canceling and getting it from another service, on time. "

Books backordered-no notification

"I ordered books for my son on January 1. He asked about the status of the order, whether we received confirmation, on the 5th. Having not heard or seen a confirmation, I started a live chat with customer service. First I was told it takes 24-48 hours for the supplier to get the books. When I noted that much time had already lapsed, I was told the book was on backorder and would not be shipped until it was back in stock. I had to cancel the order and spend a bunch of money to have the book expedited from another supplier. If I hadn’t checked with eCampus, we would still be waiting on a book that wasn’t coming. An email notification would have been appropriate. Can’t say I recommend this service!"
