"Difficult task was made easy. Quick response by eCampus. The 3rd party seller needs to learn to respond to phone messages and emails. Thanks"
"Had the cheapest price for the book bundle we needed. Was a little confused as to why one of the access codes mailed separately but at least we got them both. Will definitely order from them again!"
"It was a rather good experience I was able to get the best deals on high priced textbooks! It was like didn't have spend much to get what I needed."
"Purchased a couple of copies for a book for my office. Upon completing my order I received an email saying that there were "payment irregularities" with my payment information and they cancelled my order. Spoke to the help desk and they said it was "fixed", notified the fraud team that this order was clear, and placed the order with them again. The next day I received the same email saying my order was cancelled due to "payment irregularities". Again spoke with customer service and they "fixed" the problem and reordered my books. The next day I get ANOTHER email saying my order has been cancelled. This time I let it go. It's not worth all this trouble. NEVER TRYING TO PURCHASE WITH THEM AGAIN!"
"Book was in like new condition, arrived timely and was as advertised."
"I will be using this company more in the future, simply because they the cheapest rentals for college textbooks that I know of and also because they arrive fast. "
"My books were affordable, also they arrived in a timely manner."
"I rented 2 books through e-campus. They were great about sending due date reminders via email, which was very helpful. The rental price was also fair. However, when I went to return things there was a snag. I had both textbooks dropped off and scanned by UPS on 11/17/17 (which was the due date). The books were delivered 11/22/17, according to the customer service rep I chatted with. At 10:06 AM on 11/22, I was sent a notice that my rentals were overdue and I was being charged for them. Ecampus charged me $442 for books that were in the mail on time per their policy, and they are not reversing this charge until the package has been inspected to confirm the correct books are inside. Despite the fact that I should never have been charged this amount in the first place, I must now wait 3 to 5 business days after the package has been opened to have my money refunded. It is an extremely frustrating situation given the high amount that was charged and the fact that it was due to a glitch on their end. "
“Good afternoon,
I apologize for the inconvenience this has caused you. We normally would require that the items be confirmed as received in order to issue any refunds back to the card, but due to the error in our system, a full refund has been issued for this matter. It may take a few days for your bank to show these funds as available, depending on their processing services, but you should the total charge back to your original payment method in 3-7 business days at latest. In addition, I have supplied a discount on your account to use if you choose to give us another chance in the future. I'm sorry for this error and the issues it has caused you.
Erin”
"$40 for someone to put a never opened, still wrapped in plastic, book back on the shelf after someone scans it into the system and the computer does all the work. Seriously how pathetic is that? Do you feel good gouging people? If youre going to do that to people, the least you could do is put a few dollars of the "restock fee" towards return shipping costs."
"The book arrived earlier than expected and in excellent conditions. "
"I was looking for an expensive book for one of my classes and wasn’t able to find it at a reasonable price (on other sites it was upward of $400). I came across eCampus and found the book for only $60! My only regret is not finding this site sooner since I graduate this year. "
"Order a psy book "
"Glad I went through your website. Other websites forced me to order books for fall or spring semester. You guys let me rent for the duration of my class, thanks!"
"Fast shipping, great price, brand new book. What else can I say?"
"Overall great experience. Finding a book cheaper then other websites helped alot for being in a budget"
A rep from eCampus.com, Erin - Customer Service, has responded:
“Good afternoon,
I'm sorry to hear you had such a frustrating experience trying to order through our services. Our fraud protection program is in place to view a multitude of criteria to ensure our customers are as safe as possible. In some cases it does unfortunately cancel legitimate orders due to concerning readings. In those events we will typically try to alert our accounting services to push the order through, but it appears that there was still a concern with some of the information entered that was deemed unable to be processed. I apologize that this caused you such an inconvenience.
Erin”
