"Has anyone tried emailing this company lately .... they seem to be gone as in I get an "unknown user" code from my mail server. they also seem to be gone from Pricewatch.. guess i got ripped off for 150 bucks...oh well"

"I had a very good experience with this company. I found an Antec SX1040B case for $101. That's $50 less than retail. And the shipping prices were amazing! Only $25 to ship this 35 pound full tower case! Great prices and service."

"EDIT\ they canceled order and i DID receive the refud they promised so i'm content

Last wednesday I ordered the 19" NEC FP955 Monitor. Immediately the amount was deducted from my bank account, but by the next day it was all returned. What does this mean? I haven't heard any information from them, I emailed the customer support asking why my order hadn't been shipped. I got what stated clearly across the top of the email as an automated response, and said that my order was being processed and sorry for your time? This makes no since, monday i will try and call, i hope i don't get the answering machine like the rest of you

"Ordered a set of logitech z560's on the site because of the low price and not to bad of a reseller rating 2 weeks ago. Which is going to change drastically i figure since no one is getting anything. And they are MOVING?? Stay away from here, i already disputed the charges with my credit card company it's aug 4th and i still havnt got a tracking number and no one answers the phone there. They showed over 200 in stock at the time of my order. "

"I recently ordered a case from Techsavings.com, which I received today. To my surprise, the packing slip and invoice list none other than EMS Computing, Inc., Ft. Worth, Texas as the seller. Seems clear that these people have developed a new company (aka Techsavings.com), and that they may well let EMS Computing fold. Who Knows? Of course, I received the case more or less on time from Techsavings.com, but no such luck with EMS. Be aware that Techsavings.com seems to be the Pheonix of EMS Computing. Maybe they have redeemed themselves."

"I have had the same negative experience as several others. I ordered late on Friday, July 26 and my credit card was charged Monday morning.

I have not received any emails or replies to emails I have sent them. The phone number listed is useless as well since it is just a recorded message explaining they are moving and having trouble keeping up with the demand created by the free shipping. My somewhat jaded opinion is that the moving and excess demand stories are BS and these guys are just out to rip people off.

I did manage to login to my account information on their EMS Computing's web page and it showed me the contents of my order, but that there was no tracking number for it yet.

That was the last straw, and I called my bank to dispute the charge, and my bank will put the money bank Monday morning. Many people have said they received their packages after a long period, but my patience is used up. 8 days with zero contact is past my limit.

These guys suck, dont get suckered in with their free shipping scams.

"OK....it is my fault. I did not check here before doing business with this company.

"I'll save a few bucks", I said to myself....."free shipping, too. In stock....ships in a day or two. Sounds great!"

Charge on my credit card went through right away. After a week of order not being shipped, found that company cannot reached by phone and does not actually look at their email.

Sending an email inquiry to the customer service address with the word "order" in the subject (and nothing else in the message) will result in an automated response indicating that your order has been processed and it will be shipped right away.

One of these days, I'll learn....

"I ordered Altec Lansing 641 speakers on 7/26. I was paying full shipping costs. My debit card was charged 2 days later. When 3 days later my order hadnt been shipped yet, i tried to contact them. Useless. I tried every available channel of contact several times - to no avail. I even tried calling the owner of the company, Mr. Eric Stockton, at him home. No response.

3 and a half weeks later, the complaint i logged with pricewatch was answered, and my money was refunded.

I doubt that I will ever be attracted by their offers enough to ever order from them again. Their lack of comment on whatever situation they got themselves into is one of the most unethical business decisions i've ever experienced.

"Update my previous post:

Placed an order on 7/26 and the credit card was charged right on the same date. That's the only thing they are good at. So far, no tracking information and not received the package. Called the company, a recorded message said that they were moving; sent them emails, an auto-message said that they were busy due to the free shipping promotion. What a liar! Will never do bussiness with them again!

Strange thing happens after I reported to BBB and filed dispute to my credit card company, I received my order last week although they have sent me email to cancel my order. Antway, I definitely will not buy anything from them again.

"7-31-02: Ordered a set of Logitech z560 speakers for $122 w/ free shipping. Got confirmation later that night.

8-1-02: Receive email confirmation for another set of speakers, payment listed as "company check" -- never placed this order. Email emscomputing (phones are down there) to cancel this strange order. They cancel my original order, that was paid for, and let this fake one stand. Send 3 more emails and 4 faxes during the day to get this straightened out. No replys.

8-2-02: Send one more email trying to find out what happened, anything at all. Still, not a single reply. Notice that their price has gone up from $122 to $152 -- typo that they decided not to honor?

Sent final email ending whatever orders they think I have with them, and order from another company for $139.

Horrible business practices are all that I can assume, since they never, ever, called me, faxed me, emailed me, anything. Will never do business with them again, and I suggest you don't either.

"I ordered a product on 7/25/2002 by UPS ground shipping. I e-mailed regarding the failure of the item to ship on 7/31/2002, and received an automated reply stating that they were having 'shipping problems' regarding some sort of promotion, that I had no involvement in. I called their support number at ***-***-****, only to be informed by an automated message that they were moving their entire company! EMS Computing did nothing to notify customers that were placing new orders of any possible delays in shipment. I have been screwed over by them, since I expected my product shipped on time and was given absolutely no notification at all of any kind that they were experiencing 'shipping problems' OR that they were moving their entire company. It is now 8/2/2002 and I have received no human contact at the company, nor has my product shipped. EMS Computing should have put ample notice of their intent to move their company and any estimated delays in shipping time."

"I seem to be having the same problem as everybody else. I placed an order for a case on monday, they had 30 in stock and said shipping usually takes 1 to 2 days. It's now friday and I haven't heard anything and all I get is automated responses to my inquiries. The price was great, shipping was free. I'll update when I actually get my case.

DO NOT BUY FROM THIS COMPANY

Charged my card, cancelled my order - same as everyone else.

"People haven't been rating this reseller very well. But, my experience was real smooth and pleasant. People here are always saying they are waiting for EMS to ship their item, but they probably have. They kind of send the shipping confirmation emails late. I got my shipping confirmation email right when I received my product. It was cool with me, I didn't worry about it.

The pricing was awesome. The shipping was fast, it was free too. The Logitech Z560's weigh 50 pounds too!!!

Overall, I'm satisfied. I would order from them again.

"This is the worst experience I've had with a computer retailer.

7/28 - Placed Order for Z560 Speakers and Antec Performance Plus 1080B Case; two seperate orders. Received an order confirmation that night.

7/29 - No shipping confirmation

7/30 - No shipping confirmation

7/31 - Called company; got autoresponse. Sent email; got autoresponse. Found out my case was on backorder; tried to cancel; got autoresponse via email. Went to website to check order - everything ok; one Antec case and one Z560 Logitech Speaker Set.

8/1 - Called company again; got autoresponse. Started swearing. Went to webesite to check my order; found out they said I ordered TWO Antec cases. More swearing.

I ordered ~2200 dollars worth of parts from ~4 different retailers. EMS Computing is the only one that hasn't shipped my order yet.

"Do not buy from this company unless you feel like waiting a long time for your order to ship. Purchased my case from EMS computing. I wated for it to ship, then waited some more, and some more. I sent email but got no response. I called customer service but hung up after spending 45 minutes on hold. Thankfully, the case arrived, well packaged and undamaged."
