"Apparently, Foot Locker orders online are handled by Eastbay (I guess it's actually the same company). I ordered an Asics shoe, and in their product description, they said that this particular shoes "runs true to size" and they suggest you order your normal size. Well, when I got the shoe it actually runs small for its stated size. They want me to pay to ship it back. When I left a review of the shoe on the site, they rejected it, saying that the review wasn't about the product. All of the review was about the product, except the last line, which stated I didn't think I should have to pay to ship it back and I wouldn't order from them again. They censored my honest review. Keep that in mind, people. "
"10 days. That's how long it will take me to receive the items I ordered (on a Sunday). And they expect me to pay $15 for "5-day shipping" to have items shipped when it will take 10 days (8 business days)? This is the last time I order from Eastbay. I would purchase their "gold member" 3-day shipping, but I know my order won't ship out for another 2 business days, so it will still take me a week to get the items! They need to take a page out of Amazon's book: I can order something at 12PM on Monday, and GET the package on Wednesday (with their Prime account). Even if I use their free shipping for a non-Prime account, the wait is not this ridiculous.
Their prices are not even that good unless you use a coupon, so what's to prevent people from going to Academy or a retail sports outlet? Nothing, apparently.

"Order canceled 3 days after paying via Paypal "due to lack of availability from the manufacturer" and refund not issued yet. There was no indication that the item was out of stock on the website when the order was placed."
"Shipping policy is quite deceptive. I ordered on Sunday and paid 3-Day shipping. On the website, it states that if you order on the weekend, the order will be shipped Monday, which it did. However, my package won't come until Thursday.
Their response: "Your order was shipped on Monday. Tuesday would be considered the first day... We are not guaranteeing a shipping method. We are guaranteeing a delivery time. Since you paid for 3 day delivery, it will be delivered within that time.
How is that even logical? Shipping does not equal to delivery? My shipment was shipped via UPS ground and weighs 2.70 lbs. Shipping 4 days with that type of package does not cost $20. I know because I use to work for UPS. So they pocket the extra shipping money and lie about their policy.
Maybe they need to run by their marketing department and find out what "customer lifetime values" are because they lost one and any person I come across with interest in ordering from them.

"From my interactions with it, Eastbay is awful and its customer service is useless.
I placed an order with them and it was cancelled. They had me call a payment verifying service. My order was then magically "replaced" with a new order number and customer number, new prices and a new total. Several items were considerably more expensive in the replaced order. The replacing of the order resulted in the order that would cost me over $300 more than my original order. After receiving the e-mail with the modified prices, I called Eastbay and was told a manager would call me back. Needless to say I never received a call back. Several days later, I called again and was told that they can not do anything about the pricing, but that I could send the order back at my expense.
Furthermore, because of their replacement of the order. I lost out on the one year free shipping promotion that I signed up for, because not only did I get a new order number, I was assigned a new customer number/profile which was not linked to the account that I credit.
I don't intend to ever order from them again.
I edited the review to add that after Eastbay "replaced" the order, they had the order shipped to the wrong address. Just an awful experience and judging from the other reviews, it looks like my experience is commonplace with this company."
"I couldn't be any happier with my purchase. I placed my order on Monday night, they shipped out Tuesday and I received them Monday morning using the free shipping option which uses FedEx and then your local Post Office makes the final delivery.
I ordered a pair of Asics Nimbus 11's and they arrived factory fresh. I originally ordered them through another vendor and they arrived without tags and appeared to have been worn so the new condition from eastbay meant alot. Being this retailer also offers many styles in a wide width is a huge plus as well.
They also had the best prices by far since they have promotions running quite often. I got %30 off my order and free shipping which was much less than any other retailer I could find. I also used ebates.com to get another %5 off so it worked out great!
They also include a return shipping label attached to your receipt to make returns as simple as possible. I never heard of this store before but I'm glad I found it as the prices, shipping, and quality of merchandise is top notch."

"Eastbay is a very deceptive and evil company, a lot of items on their website they do not even have in stock but they intentionally mislead customers to believe the items are in stock so that they can charge your credit card and get payment, then you are eventually told the item is not in stock and will have to be backordered. Corpoarate corruption, greed and deception at its worst. They also try to hide the fact they are owned by Foot Locker, as there is no mention of that fact on their website.
AVOID this horrible company and shop with an honest firm like zappos.com or shoes.com as they offer free shipping, lower prices, excellent customer service, and their websites only show items that are actually in stock and ready to ship. If an item becomes out of stock, their websites show that information immediately as they are reputable companies, unlike Eastbay who only wants to scam its customers and take money for items which they do not even have at all.

"Ok, where do I begin. This company sucks. The few of you that have had good experiences must not order very often from them, because their good shipments and experiences are few and far between. First off, they sell shoes that are "backordered" that are a brand new style that have just come out and I purchased a pair, and waited a month and a half and the shoes never came in and they cancelled my order and then it took another two weeks before I was reimbursed. I actually had to call in and see why I hadn't been reimbursed yet and after 4 days they stated that the reimbursement had not even been submitted yet and that it would take 3-5 days, so I waited a week and still no refund, I called back and another rep said the same thing as a week earlier that no one had submitted "the form" for a refund. Well needless to say I was mad and I went approximately 3 supervisors up and they again said it would take 3-5 days and I said that was unacceptable and they said they had no control over that. However I had paid with paypal so I knew it would be an instant refund, and after enough fussing, miraculously the money was in my account the next day...after a total of 2 months. As stated in other reviews, I also had an order cancelled for no reason which I had used a time sensitive coupon and of course when I went to reorder it was no longer valid. I also had a customer service rep think she had put me on hold and then proceeded to talk trash about me to her coworkers when I called in and asked why it had been 3 days since I ordered my shoes and they had not been shipped especially since I paid for the upgraded shipping. If you attempt to have an order shipped to a separate address than your billing, expect for it to be placed on hold by an "order confirmation" department and unless you are familiar with this department then you will wait several extra days waiting for your order status to change to shipped and it never will then you call in and find out that they were waiting on your call to "verify" information before shipping the order. Why couldn't they have called you right? Never, I repeat never attempt returning something, it is much more headache then it is worth. The only thing that has kept me a customer as long as they have is their 20-30% off coupons, they make them much cheaper then most everyone else, although a lot of the time their inventory is incorrect and you order shoes that they never had. However, I am phasing them out because of all the wasted hours I have spent on the phone with them and all the headaches. Finishline is a much better company to deal with, even if I have to pay the extra 5 or 10 dollars, it is definitely worth it. Also for those of you that didn't know it, eastbay, footlocker, footaction, and champs sports are all the same company. They use the same customer service department, payment processing department and everything. Please steer clear of all of them if you can. "
"I have been ordering from this company for over a year each time I order their delivery service gets worse. I keep trying to give them a chance since my 16 year old likes their selection of sports attire. However this last order is my final order. I will no longer shop with them, I have experiences long delays on items I was not told was on back order in fact I ordered a personalized Jersey for Christmas as a gift for my husband and it took 2 months to get to me. 1 day before Christmas it came. 6 weeks into the order I called to find out what happen and they told me it was on back order and I had to wait another 2 weeks. 2 weeks ago I ordered a gift card from them because that's what my son wanted for his birthday. They lost it in the mail (so they said) and it took over 2 weeks to finally receive. I thought ordering a gift card from them would be safe ...fast...and quick/easy. Boy! was I wrong. If you have a few months to wait for your order this is the company to order from..... Terrible service.....don't waste your time or money with this company... "
