"In 12/2014 I applied for a healthplan. It fit what I needed on a fixed budget because the only time I had to meet the deductible was if I went into the hospital and there was no co-pay. But when I signed-in in January to look at the health plan I noticed it was still called the same health plan I signed up for but now the deductible was to be met on all aspects.
The new health plan showed no deductible for preventive care of my primary provider visit. But guess what yesterday I received the Arise summary invoice and I am paying 76% of that office visit.
I went and called the number provided on the website to talk to a ehealth rep and they stated that the insurance provider had the right to change the plan, but I also had the right to still pick out a different health plan on the website. Why should I pick out another plan? Will I have a guarantee the health provider won't change the description of the plan I picked out (NO).
Like the ehealth rep said I should appreciate that I am getting assistance with my health insurance premiums.
So in other words "put up and shut up".

"They helped me through an ordeal. It is said that the Healthcare.gov is easy to navigate, I found it confusing and when I called them it was not to my benefit. I had a good experience and went from filing an application to purchase in less than 2 hours. Three words that can define my experience THEY WERE GREAT!!!"

"This site is fine if you want to just pick a health plan and be done with it. But, if you think the "free look period" is free, BEWARE! Once you apply for the policy, they take your money that second, but even if two days later you decide to cancel, they suddenly can't give your money back and reverse the charges. They aren't "set up" for that. Once I called about getting my money back, I was met with very rude reps on the phone who interrupted me every few seconds while I was trying to explain the situation, and then got routed all over the place because nobody knows what's going on. They can sure set up the policy, but to cancel it, it takes four weeks just to communicate that to the insurance company. Then, it will probably take another 4 weeks after that just to get a refund. My advice is to contact the insurance company directly because ehealthinsurance is only in the business of taking your money. Nothing else."

"Took quite a while to decide which plan was the best one for me, but once I did, it was very easy to fill out all of the information, and get it sent off. The most inconvenient and aggravating part of the process was that suddenly I received 11 calls from representatives wanting to assist me. I am sure that some people do need assistance, but I choose my plan last year and was familiar with the process. I am assuming that these assistants must make some kind of commission, because the telephone calls on my landline and my cell phone did not stop, even until late into the night, until I turned off my cell, and unplugged my landline. This was the only problem I really had."

Navigating thru the website was very easy and I didn't get a lot of stuff I was not looking for. It was so much easier than trying to navigate the Heathcare market. "I wished I had not used these guy to purchase my off market plan. It was fairly easy to research and compare plans; however, once I sent my application in, everything went south. I never heard from them again. I received no email updates about the status of my application. I used their live chat many many times to inquire as to why it was taking so long, but they weren't much help. They just said they were very busy. Needless to say, over a month went by with no word on the status of my application. And the online chat representatives assured me I would have insurance by 1/15 and I would just need to go to the doctor and bill them for everything and wait for reimbursement. Sorry, but no thanks. Over a month later, I did end up getting paperwork in the mail saying I was approved, but no ID cards, no paperwork on the dental plan I also purchased. I ended up going directly through the health provider's website, and I was approved the next day. I appreciate the services that e-health provides, but it was way too time consuming of a process, and I felt very in the dark on all of it."
