"Submitted an order for a Samsung BDP1600 Blu-Ray Disc Player w/ BD Live 2.0 & Streaming Netflix for $129.

When I called to confirm my order, I was informed that the Blu-Ray player I ordered was no longer available. Did I want this other Samsung player they had available? I originally said okay, but after checking around on the internet for information about the new player, I did ultimately change my mind and called back to cancel my order. After checking my bank account several days later to check for the refund, I saw that the $129 charge had gone through, but no refund was pending. I waited a few more days and then called Electrozone to check on the refund.

There was some misunderstanding about whether or not I had actually been charged (he originally said my order was cancelled and I hadn't been charged - super frustrating), but after some back-and-forth, the rep did find I was in fact charged, and I received my refund a couple business days later.

UPDATE: After posting this review, I got a call from Aaron at Electrozone. He was apologetic for the hassle I had been through and was super helpful! We spoke on the phone for a while and he addressed every one of my issues very honestly.

Not only did Aaron address all of my questions, but he agreed to compensate me for all of the trouble I experienced with Electrozone! Awesome!

UPDATE 2: After 2 weeks of hassle with FedEx, I finally received my Blu-ray player and happily installed it last night! I'm very very appreciative that Electrozone did it's best to work with me. In the end, it all worked out great.

"Ordered Sony Blu-ray player and item showed in stock. Received Email which indicated needed to call and confirm order before item would be shipped. Did this and account was debited. Waited the full 14 business days published by them that item could take if using their Free shipping option, then sent Email to inquire why no delivery. EZ replied and informed me item was back ordered and that I should have received Email with this information. Email never received. They apologized if I didn't receive this Email. I called and was informed item was still back ordered and they asked if they could substitute another player. I requested a full refund which they quickly processed."

"I had a problem with a product I ordered from ELECTROZONE when i first received it. I called them and they instantly went into action. ELECTROZONE went ABOVE AND BEYOND the deffinition of customer service and did everything they could to help me out. I got a great product at a great price and it was a pleasure to do business with them. "I had ordered a Samsung 8500 TV from ElectroZone through their website and soon after discovered all the negative feedback about them. I was quite nervous and was going to canceled my order upon the confirmation call, however I was pleasantly suprised how friendly they were. They did recommend that I add the extended warranty and an HDMI cable, but upon telling them NO, they said no problem and processed the order. After about an hour I called them back to upgrade the warranty and shipping for a few hundred more. WAY worth it.. Got the TV in about a week. Trucking company was great to deal with as well.. Very good experience!! Would buy from them again..."

"Item bought: Panasonic 50” Plasma TV (TC-P50G15) For $1299.00

Initial dilemma: This TV was at very low price in comparison to other sites, which made me think twice to buy from Electrozone. I did my research online and found so many –ve feedback about them like:

1. They send refurbished/open-box items instead of new
2. got damaged item
3. customer service is pathetic
4. item bought online and later got a call that it out of stock
etc. etc..

Surprise: They had a very good rating (9.2+ out of 10) here on resellerratings regardless what people say.

My experience: I called them on phone and confirmed multiple times that the item is still available or not and whether it is brand new. The person on other side got irritated and told me if you cannot rely then please do not waste time and go to a local shop. So, I relied on resellerratings and to save some money I ordered this item from their web-site. I got an email from them to confirm my order.

I called them and as expected they tried to sell me some HDMI-cable and expedite shipping for additional $20 (which is a steal), But I declined. I did not feel any pressure from them. My item was shipped that evening itself and reached safely on 8th day (5th working day).

Though, it was a curb-side delivery only, but the delivery-person helped me to bring it to my home. He helped me to open it and to plug it with different connections. Boom! It started in a jiffy and it was just perfect. Once I was satisfied I signed the delivery confirmation paper.

I sent one email to Panasonic to verify the warranty on this TV and they confirmed that it is subjected to one year manufacturer warranty just like any other product.

What else you expect now?

Well! I’m so disappointed that recently Resellerratings identified that most of the +ve feedback were fake for this seller. I’m not sure how did they figure out. But, I just want to let you know that regardless what resellerratings or other –ve review say.. I HAD A WONDERFUL EXPERIENCE AND I’LL BUY AGAIN FROM THEM.

"I couldn't be more pleased with my experience with Electrozone. Their price blew the competition away and they topped off a great price with free shipping. My Samsung 55" LED/LCD TV was delivered in perfect condition by a company that phoned me a day in advance with a delivery time. The shipper brought the TV into my home and uncrated it for my inspection. There were many vendors to choose from, I'm glad I chose Electrozone."

"DO NOT BUY from EletroZone!!! This company has the WORST customer service ever. I bought a Sony camcorder from them on Friday and according to ElectroZone, it takes 2 business days to process orders. By Wednesday the order was not shipped out so I called them to inquire about it. I was told by Jeff that the order would be shipped out that evening and since I desperately needed to receive the camcorder by Friday (I was going on vacation abroad on Saturday), I had to pay $49 to upgrade to 2nd-day Air. I checked order status the following day and it was still listed as "pending". I called them back and first spoke to Louis who informed me that it was my fault (what the heck???) since I never called them to confirm my order until Wednesday and it was their policy to ship within 2 business days after the order was confirmed by me calling them, not after it was placed!!! They claimed they sent me an email asking me to call them, which is a LIE because I never got any such an email! I have a Blackberry and I constantly monitor my emails throughout the day. Frustrated I asked to speak to Jeff (the guy who guaranteed me the previous day that my order would be shipped out that evening). Jeff proved to be more helpful (at least that's what I thought at the time). He says that since it was their fault they would send out the camcorder that day and upgrade me to overnight shipping so I would receive my order before I leave the country. The following day I checked order status and it turned out that they shipped my camcorder out, but using 2nd-day air instead! That means that I would not receive the order until Monday. I wasted $49 to pay for 2nd-day air and still will not get the camcorder on time!!! Not only I don't get my camcorder for the trip, also now I will have to scramble to find someone to pick up the camcorder from FedEx since an adult signature is required for delivery. Customer service reps of Electrozone are liars and the company has SHADY policies! I am dreading to see if they really sold me a brand-new camcorder as advertised or sent me a damaged product like they did to some other reviewers. I will update the review when I receive the camcorder in my hands. Do yourself a favor and NEVER BUY FROM ELECTROZONE!!!

UPDATED REVIEW (03/01/2010): After I posted the review, Electrozone contacted me, apologized and offered to compensate me for my bad experience. They agreed to issue me some refund which should cover at least the shipping charges of $49. They initially screwed up, but, unlike some other online vendors, later made an effort to correct the situation. I will probably buy from them again. I am updating my review to 3 stars for this transaction. Hopefully my next experience with ElectroZone will be better.

"I wanted to surprise my husband for Christmas with a 54" Flat screen TV that he had been wanting for several years. After considerable time researching prices with retailers I knew (Best Buy, etc) I came across Electrozone on line. It had the best price, about $300 less than the others, was in stock and shipping was free.
However, I had never bought this type of product or something this expensive on line and was a little wary. Another family member had heard of Electrozone and assured me it was a reputable website.
I called the customer service number before I placed my order online. The person I spoke with was helpful and pleasant.
After placing the order, another person called to verify the information. At this time I found out there was a small "shipping insurance" fee. I thought this was a hidden charge and should have been mentioned in the ad, but as it was only about 2% of the cost of the item and the total price was still considerably less than the competitors, I went ahead with the purchase.
Our TV arrived about a week later, as scheduled, in perfect condition. My husband was very surprised; he had discovered the credit card charge the day before the TV arrived! But he was very happy and we've been enjoying it since.
I would definitely recommend Electrozone and would do business with them again.
