"I purchased a Samsung Home Theater System from Electrozone and my experience there was great. I received a great deal and I even purchased a warranty due to the fact that the prices at Electrozone were so reasonable. I received my merchandise within the time frame that was promised. I would shop there again and have told my friends and family to shop on their website for a good deal. Overall my experience was wonderful with Electrozone. "

"Fast shipping, item as expected. I am very happy with my order I must say I'm quite the skeptic when purchasing items online, especially when it comes to big items such as a Samsung 55" # UN55B6000 TV. My best friend had recently purchased a 52" LCD TV from Electrozone and told me the price that was paid for it, I was completely amazed looking at other online stores. I was referred to call them and I must say that it was absolutely right. The customer service department was helpful and a pleasure to work with. I had my TV at my door within 7 days as promised!! It was a real smooth transaction and I got the best price out there. I will look to this company for future electronic purchases."

"Okay, so several of these reviews sound very familiar. I found a SharpLC52SE94U on their web site. I called on the phone & talked to Derek. After putting me on hold, he told me they had an "upgraded" model. Same #, but with the letters PK on the end. Of course it was more $'s. When I asked if I could see it on their web site I was told they only had a limited quantity and they couldn't put them on the site. I placed the order, and recieved the tv. That night I set it up and turned it on and it was damaged. I called the next day and was completely blown off by Luis. He told me that I had to deal with Sharp. Any TV you buy, even from "Best Buy" you have to deal with mfg. I was told. So I did, Found out it had a cracked panel and that isn't covered under the warranty. By that time I had already gotten my crdt. card bill in the mail. So I disputed the charge, why should I acculm. interest or pay for something that doesn't work. Well, the "you know what" hit the fan. THis is July 7 and it is just now being resolved. Luis yelled at me on the phone, not once. but twice. Didn't want to talk to me.He talked to my husband. Couldn't get a word in at all. Lied, said I never asked for a RA# told me this was all my fault. Of course the tv they said they were selling me doesn't exsist, at least with Sharp it doesnt'. Be careful buying from these people. I think they buy off Ebay, that is what it said on my credit card. So they don't even see the merchandise. A warehouse in New Jersey? And who is Maps Electronics? Sounds pretty fishy to me. Again, be careful.
I am updating my review to say I am not changing my views about this company.

I also recvd phone call from owner of comp. He apologized for all the trouble, but I still think they have some problems with certain customer serv. reps they need to seriously address if they want to stay in business. I still do not recommed doing business with them, it is so much easier just to spend a little extra and know what you are getting.

To chuckw438, you seem to think that these negative reviews are a long way from the truth? How would you know? These people were rude and crude to me, and looks like they are still having trouble.You got lucky. You wouldn't be saying that if you went through what some of the rest of us did.
Looks like things haven't really changed much. I am really doubting the sincerity of the apology I got from the so called owner of the company. Luis needs some serious customer service schooling. What a jerk he is. Attention, they also get a F Rating from Las Vegas BBB.

"After filing this rating, I received a call from the owner of the company who listened to what happened and apologized. He said they had received too many orders and were not geared up to respond properly. They are taking action to fix this. I was asked to update my rating based on this discussion so I am changing it from a 1 to a 3.

Here is what I experienced with my order. I did not get any of 6 phone calls and 3 emails returned after I placed my order on line. I was sent an email that required that I call ElectroZone before the order was processed, but I could not do this after 3 days of trying so I sent an email cancelling my order and I placed an order with another company who was very responsive. I finally was able to talk to ElectroZone manager and he was very rude. He didn't believe that I sent any emails or left so many messages. He said that they had shipped my order (I never received any notification of this shipment) even though it wasn't confirmed. He said the email they sent didn't mean the order wasn't processed contrary to the words in the email. After 15 minutes of him telling me that this was all my fault, and not listening to anything that I said, the phone call ended without resolution. However, to ElectroZone's credit they did end up cancelling the order and issued a full refund. But, this was after a lot of wasted time on my part and a very disturbing conversation with the manager.

"After waiting two months for a satisfactory response to my many phone calls to Electrozone I posted the review shown below. Within a few days I started receiving messages from thier customer service department but was again never able to get a live person on the phone when I returned the calls. After a lapse of about two weeks I received a call from Alan who identified himself as "one of the principals" of the company. After explaining that one of the idiots that I dealt with is no longer with his company (no explanation about the other idiot)he appologized and offered to send me the missing parts right away. He also asked that I DELETE my review. I offered to post a follow-up to my review and I am doing so. The original review is seen below:

PLEASE, I beg you, do NOT do business with these people. I have had every problem mentioned in the other reviews on this site and more. Lack of order confirmation, selling refurbished as new, components missing from box, taking twice as long to ship as promised, refusing to respond to e-mails, refusing to respond to phone calls, etc.

They did return my voicemail cancelling my order within 3 minutes. This was the only time they responded. After almost two months I have given up and will have to order the missing parts elsewhere. Again, PLEASE, save yourself a lot of hassle and skip this merchant! I have been involved with e-commerce for years and shortly after this transaction fraudulent charges started appearing on my credit card for the first time ever.

Oddly, my order confirmation asked ME to call THEM which kinda makes ordering it online sorta pointless. Paying $99 for tracking was not smart. Not "tracking" like UPS.

"STOP! www.electrozone.com runs something like Bait and Switch outfit. They probably pad their reviews to keep them high! They bait people by advertising low prices on items that are advertised as “new” but they are actually selling refurbished items at a high price. After I placed an order for a Samsung LN46A550 I got an email asking me to call them to confirm the details of the order.
Side note: the Electrozone price was $1,099 for a NEW LN46A550, the Amazon price at that time was $1,150 for the same TV in NEW condition. Other website including Amazon were selling used, open box, refurbished … TVs for $800 to $1000.
After about a week, I did not call them so they called me and said that the TV I ordered was “new” but needed to be labeled as refurbished because of some technical reason. I told them I did not care how it was labeled as long as it was NEW, and in its original unopened packaging! They said it was “new” and would be shipped directly from Samsung so I, like a foolish person, placed the order.
The TV arrived about 9 days later and it WAS NOT NEW, not in its original packaging, and looked (I could only see the top of the TV from the outside of the box) like it had been used. I called Electrozone immediately and was transferred to Luis who said to open it and test it out. I told him I ordered a NEW TV and would not except anything less. He said I could refuse the delivery and he would refund the full amount so I did. Well, it has been 9 days and still no refund! I called today and Luis said I should see it by Monday (five days from now). I will update this review after I receive a full refund.

UPDATE: I am pleased to report that one day after I posted the above review, ElectroZone gave me a full refund. Based on my experience with them, I would not recommend conducting business with them.

UPDATE #2: Over the past month I have been called by Allen (supposable he is one of the owners) about 5 times. He assures me that they are not a Bait and Switch operation and has apologized for the negative experience that I had with them. He has offered to “make it up” to me by giving me a discount on the next order that I make with ElectroZone. Allen’s says that he is “trying to build a business” and that negative reviews make it difficult to do so. As a result of Allen’s efforts to make things right, I am adding this update to this review.

"Beware of the bait and switch. I ordered a television and got an email to call to confirm the order. The contact first told me that the product i had ordered was refurbished and would i like to buy a newer model. After questioning, he said the product was not refurbished but overstocked. I declined the newer model for more money, and it turns out they sent that model to me anyway! As far as the TV goes, it was delivered on time and it works fine. "

"***THIS IS NOT A REVIEW BY ELECTROZONE*** When I initially received my tv, it was defective. I couldn't get a hold of Electrozone for about two weeks. I was so upset with their lack of response that I was almost ready to file a claim in Small Claims Court. But after I made a posting here on this website about my experience, I got in contact with Louis, the manager at Electrozone and he promptly addressed all my issues to my complete satisfaction. He also gave me an extended 3 year warranty for parts and labor and in-home service through CPScentral.com, who in turn gave me a call and confirmed that I indeed had the warranty. All in all, although I had problems with my original purchase, and it took a while to get a hold of someone at Electrozone, once I did, the process was very quick and painless. Within one day I received my replacement tv. Very quick. I especially appreciate Louis for extending an ear out to let me voice my concerns and for addressing them in a prompt, professional manner. Thank you Louis. I will enjoy my tv for years to come. "

"Last Friday I had a problem with the order placed with Electrozone. I initally thought that it was going to be a problem. BUT, I received a call over the weekend from "Louis", who is the manager. I was not around to get his message on my office phone. When I got in this morning before I even checked my messages, Louis called again. He explained that that he was not in last week and, if he was, he would have caught this problem before it was an issue. He seemed sincerely concerned about his customer service. He upgraded the TV (newer model, new in the factory box) and the warranty as well as expedited shipping because of the delay.

I felt that Louis went over and above to rectify the problem. I do respect that Elecrozone did correct the problem and customer service was a high priority for them.

"Since this was my first major purchase online, I researched both the television (a Sony Bravia 32" XBR9 LCD) and the seller thoroughly. I had read that there was a concern about merchandise being refurbished or previously opened. I spoke with Louis, who assured me that the item was new and that the box had not been previously opened. Since my first choice of the XBR6 was not available, I chose to pay an additional $50 for the newer XBR9 model, and Louis added an HDMI cable gratis. I compared the price to three different brick and mortar stores in my area, and ElectroZone's price beat the lowest of the three stores by over $200.

I did opt for the tracked shipping, and received my television within three days. It was new, unblemished, and in an unopened box as promised. The television couldn't have been more exactly what I wanted. I would definitely purchase from this vendor again. I especially like their confirmation via phone before charging my card.
