Shipped on time. Had to return it do to possible defect. It took them a week and a half from the time they received it to test it and I gad to call every day to make sre it got done that fast. Who knows how long it would have taken if I hadn't. Supposedly the tested the board and it was fine. They tried to charge me a diag. fee (which they did tell me about before hand but also told me it wuld only take two days to get it tested) which I refused to pay. Spoke to manager Tim and he waived the fee. Got it back and it still did not work. Called again and got RMA and asked for full refund which was refused because it was beyond their return time frame. Threatened legal action for selling defective products and not offereing refunds and finally got them to agree to refund. Sent product back and had to wait 2 weeks after they actually received it to get refund. Bottom line is they have good prices and fast shipping but if you have a problem with a product, BEWARE!"

"I ordered a rack mount chassis for these guys. I picked the model due to the number of 3.5 bays (3) and reasonable price (I did not buy the cheapest one). They did deliver and it came ahead of their estimated date but the description was not exactly correct and one of the "bays" was a cheesy adaptor that I still cant figure out how to mount short of drilling a couple of holes. no docs with the case. Worst of all, the box had been opened and who ever did that just threw the extra parts (screws, spacers, misc) into the case. They rattled around inside all the way here. I wont return it because I need a case and can make do with it but I'm unsatisfied as a customer.
So to sum up, I got the specific unit I ordered but it wasn't exactly what their description said and it was previously opened and rummaged through."

-It arrived right on time.
-Motherboard was severely bent in a corner. I looked at the larger box that the two parts came in, and it was perfect (granted it was very small, so I can see how the part got damaged). The motherboard box, however, was damaged in a corner. This suggested to me that it wasn't a problem with shipping.
-I called them and told them what I saw, and they said that they don't deal with problems with shipping, but that I should call someone named Ana if i get things straightened out. I told them I didn't think it was a problem with shipping and they said it was...
-So now i have to file a claim through Fed Ex when it was probably their fault.
-They're probably great if there's no physical damage to a part, but if you find physical damage, then you're screwed. That's my experience.

Recieved RMA from Essential and returned to vendor early November. Essential cannot find card and customer service rep says "we call you back" on 4 occasions. No return calls or info provided about defective video card. Paid $369 for card and expect better service. I could understand if it was a cheapo $100 card...but 8 weeks with no info on a expensive card is poor service plain and simple. Tech Support acts as if customer caused the problem ..... :( I have purchased repeatedly from them- just pray you don't need service!!!! Look at their tech support rating!! A 3.33 ??? not good. "
