"I ordered prescriptions sunglasses in a Carrera frame with a request for the lenses to match the manufacturer style. A few weeks later, I got the sunglasses delivered with clear prescription lenses. I contacted ezcontacts and paid to return the glasses and have the tint applied, which they claim I did not indicate in the first order. When I received the “corrected” Sunglasses, the tint was not even close to them manufacturer style, the case—which is supposed to be a Carrera case— is flimsy and actually looks fake, and this process took maybe 3 to 4 weeks more. Compare this to my experience with eyebuydirect that saved me close to $400 and delivered two eyeglasses within three days of my order—(the pair I didn’t like I returned for free). Going forward, I will only buy from eyebuydirect And will never order from ezcontacts again. I ended up keeping the sunglasses ultimately because the return process is cumbersome and slow, but also because my optometrist has told me that I need to wear sunglasses and having them corrected would’ve taken forever and likely once again yielded poor results."
