"FedEx is the worst shipping company so far yet the most expensive
Never on time ever "
"On Wed Jan 22 I was sent a tracker by FEDEX informing me that my package would arrive Friday by 8PM. This fit into the 2 day shipping which I had paid for so I was OK. Friday Jan 24…NO PACKAGE. I checked the tracker and the delivery dated was moved back to Monday by 8PM. This I was not OK with, especially since their tracker indicated that my package was 45 min from my house. I offered to pick it up myself, to which I was informed that they would not relinquish the package while “in transit”. Maybe it was just a bad employee. I tried another two times once nicely the second with the promise of a bad review. No cooperation. FEDEX politics dictate that employees have no common sense. I will give them credit though; they were very polite as they informed me they are useless. I pray my package arrives on Monday."
"
The worst delivery company EVER! Every time someone sends us a package through FedEx there's always issues. We've experienced lie after lie from drivers. We also have video of a driver throwing a package at our door. We've been told they "forgot" to physically put a package on the truck even after scanning it for delivery. Twice we got a notice that they attempted to deliver and no one was home, another lie since we are sitting here watching you sit in the road in front of our house and we can hear your music blaring!!! We have it all on camera and the customer support has absolutely no control over the situations and can't do much to help except contact the facility. It doesn't matter to them about the customers who are waiting for a package, the sender has already paid for the shipping so they made their money to hell with the delivery process."
"I mailed documents from the US to Canada and was only given the express mail option for $99. I then called cutover service and they told me there's a ground option for $36. By then my package had already left. Customer service said my only option was not do anything and just keep it as is or return the package to my home but pay a $60 fee then dispute 5 days later and not guaranteed to get either the $99 nor the $60 fee back. So because of their employee's fault I paid an extra $63 for no reason, spent almost an hour on the phone and the only option I had is to pay more money. Disrespectful company, will never use it again and I recommend nobody does either. "
"Tracking says my item is on the truck for delivery and it never shows up. Same thing happens the next day. If given the option, I would've went with ups. "
"I have wasted more in my life waiting for packages that were supposed to be delivered at a certain time than I have spent time sleeping. At work switched deliveries to a different carrier service, made the mistake of ordering a truck part online and had it shipped by them, instantly remembered why we don’t use them anymore since I just got royally screwed. Good luck with calling customer service, they will give you the run around and make you even more FedUp with FedEx."
"Several weeks a go, Fedex delivered a package to my home. Upon backing out of my driveway the driver took out my mailbox, stopped looked at the damage and drove off. My wife viewed the whole incident from the bedroom window. I immediately took pictures, called Fedex claims and filed a report, found the fedex location in Exton PA on Creamery Lane, from where the driver came, called them and filed a report, called the local police and filed a report of property damage with the officer who came out and also took pictures.
I was subsequently put in touch with their Insurance company ARC where I provided all the information they requested, along with what it would cost to replace the mailbox, pole and installation, that I had available to substantiate my claim.
After weeks of back and forth, being told that without a video of the incident, it would be the drivers word against mine (the driver of course denied everything) they agreed to pay half/50% of the cost to replace my mailbox.
Despite I am sure thousands of similar incidents, they FedEX and their ARC Insurance Company take the word of a criminally negligent driver causing property damage AND leaving the scene of a crime!
FEDEX ****, outsources their delivery to **** companies who obviously hire many criminal elements to deliver to we unsuspecting victims."
"Awful customer service. Will not use FedEx again if I can avoid it. Waited all day for a package. Company failed to deliver telling me that I wasn't home. Asked if I can have a delivery time so I don't wait 7 more hours and was told if I wanted that service I could go online and PAY for it to have a set time. This is after I waited 7 hours. Totally unacceptable customer service."
"My package was supposed to be delivered in 3 days after my shipping, after 13 days was still pending delivery, supposedly at the destination facility site. I am not sure if they will ever deliver my package all I know is that this was a documents damn important delivery and this has caused me a significant loss in term of money and not only. I will never use FedEx again, never ever again. Horror service!!!"
"We are very pleased with FedEx delivery.
The delivery guys are always ring the doorbell and if it’s raining they are placing the package in the plastic bag before leaving it. There is huge difference between UPS and FedEx delivery.
I would prefer that all my packages will be delivered by FedEx and only by FedEx. If we are home and packages are heavy the delivery guys are helping to care them. I can’t say enough good words about FedEx.
FedEx is the best!"
"I sent a $2,000 package to Mexico via FedEx in August. They charged me $500 to send it. The recipient did not accept the package and basically said "return to sender". But they didn't return it. I never saw it again.
The customer service while trying to have my package returned was horrible. I called once a week every week starting in August. Every single week I talked to a different person, never the same person twice after the first few weeks. Every time I called, the new person was unfamiliar with my case would have to put me on hold while they read the notes of the case, which got longer and more confusing every week to the point that I got completely different information every week. I was told that the package was on it's way back to me. Then I was told that it was delivered to the wrong address while trying to return it and they couldn't get it back so I would have to file a claim. I filed a claim, and a few weeks later they walked back what they said about delivering it to the wrong address and instead started blaming it on Mexican customs. They said that Mexican customs had designated it "abandoned" because I waited so long to ask for it to be returned (but I had asked for it's return IMMEDIATELY. The long wait was the slow FedEX customer service time. The delay was their fault, not mine). They said they were not liable for it if it was Mexican customs fault. Which was convenient since I was told it was delivered to the wrong address until I filed the claim, and then suddenly it was Mexican customs who marked it "abandoned" and took possession of it. One time somebody told me they couldn't make sense of the long and confusing notes to the case since so many people had worked on it and they would have to have someone call me back. No one ever called. The next week they said the same thing and I said "They said that last week but nobody ever called me back" They said impatiently "I PROMISE somebody will call you back". Nobody ever called me back. A few weeks later, I was promised a call back, and I mentioned this. This person said "This time someone will call you back. I promise you, sir". No one ever called back.
I sent the package in August. The second it was marked "return to sender" I got to work trying to get it back. That included opening two cases in August. Then filing a claim in November because it was supposedly sent to the wrong address. Then filing another claim in December because the first claim somehow got "accidentally" closed. Then filing a THIRD claim in December because the second claim got closed and nobody could figure out why. Finally, in January, over four months after I sent the package, I received a phone call that said my claim was denied.
I basically paid them $500 to lose my very expensive package. It was never delivered or returned. It was just $2500 down the drain. That's a drop in the bucket to a multi-billion dollar international corporation like FedEX. But to me that kind of money really, really, hurts. The job they did and the customer service afterwards was absolutely shameful. If you have ANY other option when shipping something I strongly recommend you take it, even if it costs a little more. It will be a lot safer for you."
"Worst worst experience. Not seen a worst company than this"
"the usps is faster. FedEx gets the package then the thing takes a vacation across the united states till they get within 2 hrs travel from you and then they hold the package for 6 days!!!!! making it late for the delivery person giving them bad numbers when it is all fedslows fault. It has happened 3 times to me in the past 4 months so far"
"Shipping clowns of the world. I think the ex part of FedEx is appropriate. Between the changing delivery dates (which I am required to be here for) and the rude customer service, I would highly recommend using one of the many competitors available. My package has been in state for at least 5 days according to their own updates. It has been in their system for over 11 days now. Normally I would write this off and move on but I have to post someone at the address full time in the hopes FedEx actually delivers it as they say they will. If you consider the cost of this plus their fee, its a very expensive option. Never again FedEx. "
"If you have no desire to receive your package, then this is the company for you. They will continue to tell you that your package will arrive that day 4 days in a row. My package is only an hour drive away. Now they are saying I will get it in 3 more days. The worst shipping company in the world"
