"I have never once had a good experience with fedex! Recently I missed a delivery and requested a re delivery attempt the next day through a FedEx employee over the phone. What that employee failed to tell me was that it wasn’t guaranteed that it would actually be re attempted. So I sat around waiting at home the next day waiting for the package to sent to me but nothing came. And only when I called and asked for the whereabouts of my package did they tell me it’s not a guarantee that my package would be sent out again. Now I have wasted an entire day in which I had originally planned to be productive. I truly wish companies would stop using fedex as a delivery service and just stick to Canada post. If you ever have an option, NEVER CHOOSE FEDEX!"
"There should be a category -5. I totally agree with every negative review there is out here. Whenever I see that something is to be delivered by FedEx I cringe. Sometimes I will even look for a different company to buy from. Everything I have ever gotten from them is late missing or there is some issue that makes me frustrated."

Complaint Description:
Fed Ex failed to deliver parcel on time. Then failed to return to sender in a timely fashion. Then issued a request for duties and taxes. On Dec 4, 2019 I sent a Christmas gift parcel to my brother in England. It cost $199.09 CDN to send the package. Two days after it arrived we were notified by email it was being returned to us as it "had not cleared US customs". The parcel was at that time in a facility in England. We were shocked that: A.) the parcel had been placed into US customs as that had never been made known to us; B.) That the parcel had been sitting for days in England before we were notified (given the sensitive dates for Xmas; and C.) that the parcel had not been immediately returned to Fed Ex's facility so that customs clearance could take place and the parcel then could be delivered before Christmas. On December 18,2019, my brother informed me he had received a bill for duties and taxes on his parcel by email from Fed Ex. I immediately contacted Fed EX who at first told me the parcel was enroute back to me. Then told me the parcel was in fact still in the England facility - which meant it no longer had any hope of being delivered for Christmas. The person I dealt with from Fed Ex had no idea how to deal with the situation, or resolve the situation, despite placing me on hold four times to try and speak to her managers - who apparently also could not deal with it. When I asked for a refund of the $199.09 shipping fee she told me it wasn't their error, but custom's failure to clear it, and therefore not a service failure they would give a refund for. This entire episode has been a disgrace. My brother, like me, is a severely injured veteran, and in his case he suffers from serious cancer. Who knows how many Christmases we have left to share, and this has just been an absolute outrage. Please deal with these people.

"The customer service provided from both Customer Service dep. & technical support is very unpleasant I called 12/16 and spoke to at least 6 people from Tech support and CS with no resolution. (45 mins on the phone)

When I was transferred the last time back to Tech Support the lady asked for my FedEx login info and she said I am going to go into your account and change your delivery time anywhere from 5-10 PM (delivery preferences) since that is a time that I will be home to sign - I got an email conf. & was told it was taken care of. Come to find out 12/17 package was delivered with no success since I was not home. I called FedEx today once in the morning (8 AM) and was told it may take up to 24 hours for it to reflect (I don't think the man could understand what I was saying & I couldn't understand him either and/or he truly didn't care enough to look at my account notes) After i got notified of the delivery issue I called again (1030-11AM). CS rep. was not empathetic & i was transferred to Tech Support, I asked to speak to a Supervisor, the rep. said we are unable to get a manager on the line until the Holidays are over. (Really?!) I called back again with disbelief and I was lucky enough to get a nice lady on the line that truly felt concerned about my issue, she took time to review my account & ended up advising me the lady I spoke with last night did not confirm my preference change under delivery manager. I asked her If i could get the $5.55 waived by a manager approval due to the inconvenience & false information provided by your company, which was denied. The entire two days of speaking with FedEx was laborious & if I was properly helped and informed from the first call I made, I would not have a negative perception against your company.

"i receive many packages and have never had issues like i do with fedex.
packages consistently with tracking showing they are out for delivery...only to be delayed until the next day (when i'm lucky). Sometimes showing a note that 'no one was home' when i was and no one ever showed up...if they would have there would have been a door tag.
Drivers showing up in personal, un-marked vehicles.
I don't have this problem with any other shipper. USPS, DHL, UPS. No problems like this at all.

"I ordered a fairly expensive laptop that was supposed to require my signature in order to be delivered. They left my package on my doorstep (almost in the street) when the package clearly displayed what its contents were without getting my signature. Anyone could have stolen it. It was also sitting outside in the freezing cold for four hours, which could damage a computer. The delivery person should have gotten my signature before releasing this package, as indicated in the delivery instructions. It was pure luck that my package wasn't stolen or damaged by weather."
"if i could give fed ex zero stars i would i reported that i never received a package from Walmart fed ex stated it was delivered on November 30, 2019. i called Walmart reported that i never received the package they then sent the driver back to my home and confronted my brother who was visiting from Pennsylvania and the driver stated i gave you the package right not aware that not only did my brother arrive that day but he doesn't live there idiot. There was also a huge language barrier he spoke mostly Spanish and was translating to his manager via phone as well Fed ex needs better ways to crackdown on careless mistakes and or stolen packages i purchased these things on a black Friday deal and was not able to get the item back because they were sold out JERKS. the driver was also very upset which is a issue because it puts the lives of the residents and people who report these things in imminent danger when these people come back to your home irate and belligerent."
"-0 STARS FEDEX delivery person stated that I didn't provide the correct address. Instead of them calling me they just sent my items back to the sender. My address is correct and UPS didn't have an issue finding my apt as well as taking a picture that it was at my front door unlike FEDEX. they didn't go over and beyond like UPS to make sure I received my order. The item that I order are for my gender reveal on December 14th and this was the bulk of the decorations that I needed. I'm very unhappy at the moment about this. I called FEDEX and was on hold for 26 minutes without speaking to anyone. I sent an email and contacted the sender as well.This is my first child and i'm at work in tears because I'm not sure what to do or how I'm going to receive my items."
