I hate fedex

"FedEx is the worst!!! I NEVER-EVER get my packages on time! Have to call them and chase my packages every freakin g time. Always hear only the lie that they were not able to deliver for every reason possible. Once I was chasing my package for 3!!!!! Weeks! And guess what-they lost it eventually!!’ I try to stay home even though my packages are not signature required, but nobody ever comes! No slip, no door tag. Same day receive packages via UPS or USPS, no problem.
Hate them, just hate them....

"Shipped air conditioner from az to pgh 13 days.On truck off truck on truck off truck in pgh.promised delivery 5 days in a row.Never got it. finally after many calls to find my package.They wanted me to pack it up.THIS IS CRAZY.finally dumped box on my porch TOTALLY DESTROYED!"

DENIES Claim even though they cover up to $100 of Damage caused by carriers Claims system is a JOKE!!

"My first and only claim I ever made with Fedex and it was Denied before I sent in the Requested information….??

According to Fedex when you ship a parcel with them it is covered with up to $100 of Insurance without having to purchase any additional insurance. This was told to me by the Rep at my Local FedEx Office.
I recently sold a Denon AV Stereo Receiver, I had a similar Yamaha Stereo Box with the formed Styrofoam inserts as well as additional Foam Blocks for added support topped off with the Styrofoam popcorn fill.. This Receiver was Packed Extremely well even by my standards. And Finally secured at all seams of the Box with Packing Tape.
When the Buyer received the Receiver he immediately messaged me with Photos showing a Large Dent on the Right hand side of the Receiver.. Because of this Impact the electronic internals were now damaged as the Stereo could not generate or Reproduce Sound.
Now whoever at Fedex who was physically Handling this Box must have been playing soccer with it or seeing if it could fly off a building,,, Had to be something Drastic to cause this type of Damage as the Package was truly re-enforced and packed so well..
I had then proceeded to file a Damage claim on Fedex’s website.. I gave the required information.. Showed Photos of the Receiver from Before and After… 4 Pictures total and then submitted the claim being very optimistic that it would get approved as this was a fully Legit claim. I will mention I have in the past had 2 claims with the USPS for Damaged packages and both were approved as the process was quick and Fair and refund checks were issued swiftly.
At this point I was just trying to recoup half of the total sale so I could honor a full refund to the Buyer who was being very patient on his end. The claim said it would take 5 to 7 business days to render a Decision.
After a couple of days I got an email from Fedex requesting additional information?? Proof of Value Such as invoice stating the Cost, Photocopy of Fedex receipt, any other applicable documentation etc.. So I gathered all of the requested paperwork including 2 High Res printout of the Damage/Dent.. I could of Faxed this info back or send it via Postal Mail.. I chose the Paper mail route.. I mailed this packet off to the “Cargo Claims Dept” on Monday 7/2/19.
Later that evening I got a letter from Fedex DENYING my claim?? WTH…?? How could this happen as I just sent the packet 3 hours earlier in the day…? Of course there was no Reason given for the Denial just some LAME Generic “Unfortunately we cannot approve your claim,, yadda yadda..”
I couldn’t believe it.. How can a Company as big as Fedex making Millions of $$’s deny a claim which completely shows their Negligence?? It left my hands and went into FedEx’s possession on June 11th from CA till it got delivered in MD on June 15th so for 5 days this Box was being Brutalized. I’m certain the Buyer who paid his hard earned Money for a Denon Stereo wanted it to be a Functioning one but FedEx made certain it wasn’t
Bottom line,,, is I am out $198…. $145 for the Stereo and whopping $53 Freight Charge. Not to mention the Shady Practices of Fedex which was completely shown here… the Fact that my Claim was Denied before they even received the Packet with additional information in which they Requested confirms thei Claims Process is Flawed. I believe FedEx deliberately denies most if not all of their claims as they probably dont get many people to challenge or give Blowback.

Well not only will I never use another service from FedEx ever again but I will be sharing my experience with Fedex on their Social Media Sites as people need to know what this company is about and how they treat Customers with Valid Claims.

The worst service out there

"I wish I could give a zero stars. I barely ever deal with fedex because of them being extremely unreliable. But this time it was the last drop. I ordered a wedding item which we needed for our wedding on July 7th. This item was supposed to be the most important one during the ceremony. I paid $39 for expedited 2 day delivery. On June 26 the company shipped my package to my address in Denton, TX. On July 5th it was in Fort Worth, which is only 35 minutes away from my house. On July 10th they shipped it back to the sender because I didn't come to pick up it. I received notification from fedex about package being returned on July 9th. And this was the very first contact I received about my package. Gave them a call and they said, "if you want us to turn the package around and send it to you again you will have to pay again." WHAT? You never tried to deliver it to my house for which i paid $39 (6lbs package). Now you want me to pay more?????? They were pretty inflexible and kept saying that I either have to pay more or can fly myself to Mississippi where the package is right now and they can hold it in there. I will never ever deal with fedex again. The worst mail system out there. From the past I can say, their drivers are the worst. They through packages over the fence or on the ground even when it says Fragile. They don't bother knocking or ringing the bell well enough They just do couple of quet knocks and leave. This was the reason I stopped dealing with them. This time I had no idea the company would ship with Fedex. Otherwise I would never agree for that. They through my computer and broke it in the past. I never had any issues with UPS or even USPS like I had with Fedex. I don't know how this company is still alive and why people still use them. The worst!"

Absolutely the worst shipping in the business

"Over the last 6 months Fedex has lost, delayed shipments, damaged shipments, and deemed my address undeliverable and returned items at least a dozen times. No other shipper has had any of these issues and sometimes magically they get a package to me on the first try. Any time you call in you get very rude people who are uniformed and robotic in tone. I have been told multiple times that I have no recourse other then to let my package get lost then let them do an investigation and finally contact my shipper to have them resend. The whole business is utter bologna. Unfortunately it seems some shippers have contracts with them so you may get stuck with them. I have been sure to let shippers know how frustrating it is for their customers on the other end so maybe they can steer clear of them."

Lost

"To be honest, I don't think one star is actually what I would give you, your service doesn't deserve even a half of one. That may sound harsh but dealing with your company is a headache. I ordered some rolls of bags for my food saver and they were shipped through your company. They got held up in Memphis TN on the 2nd of July. I first waited, then emailed your company and finally had to call two times to be told that they could not fine my package and had no way of knowing what happened t it. I was suppose to be called back after the first call I made but never received that call so I had to call again the next day to be told it was lost. I had a second package that was sent by someone else and it got caught up in Concord NC for a week before it was transferred to the USPS. That is ridiculous and customer service is sad, when you can't get answers and all the people I spoke with had such strong foreign accents that I could barely understand them and I would venture to say that their call center is in another country and all they can do is look at the same tracking by computer that I am also able to look at, no help there! No solution to my problem and a no care attitude. I will never use your service if I have any choice at all. Really horrible service and no support when there is an issue."

Fed Ex driver ran through and tore up yard

"On Dec 11,2018 the fedex drive ran off my drive way and tore up my yard. I have called fed ex 7 different times and am yet to be compensated for the damages!!"

Uncooperative and rude customer service

"WHATEVER HAPPENS, DO NOT I REPEAT DO NOT MISS YOUR FEDEX DELIVERY EVEN IF YOU HAVE TO TAKE A LEAVE FROM YOUR WORKPLACE.

The worst customer service ever received. All their customer service agents are rude and ignorant of customer concerns. The logs of deliveries are incorrect and the agents just do not want to hear when you try to explain how the info log is wrong.

The correct log for my delivery:

1. Missed the package because our doorbell doesn't work, call for a reattempt of delivery. Asked to get updates on my cellphone so I can take the delivery.
2. Left a post-it note with contact info for the delivery guy.
3. Missed the guy by 10 minutes ( was waiting next to the window, didn't see the FedEx truck, the delivery guy must have been on foot for the delivery) and called the customer care immediately at 2:40. Apparently, the matter was escalated and there was supposed to be another attempt by 3:30 the same day. Sat outside the house till 3:45 pm.
4. Left a door tag to leave the package outside if no one answers.

NO THIRD ATTEMPT OF DELIVERY WAS MADE. WRONG INFO LOGGED IN THE SYSTEM. UNCOOPERATIVE CUSTOMER CARE AGENTS WHO ARE RUDE TO YOU AND TALK OVER YOU AND THEN PRETEND THAT THEY DO NOT UNDERSTAND YOU. HIGHLY UNPROFESSIONAL EMPLOYEES IN NORTH SYRACUSE AREA.

I understand that I missed my delivery but I also cooperated with them by providing them with all the tools they need to get the package to me. Horrible service, now I have to leave early from work spend so much on uber to get the package from a far off location because the package contains reading glasses for my mother sent from INDIA.

Horrendous Service

"Thanks to your hideous service, we are canceling our subscription to Wild Alaskan Company for our monthly box of frozen fish. We hope Wild Alaskan Company will switch shipping carriers. When they do, we will resume our service. Until then they have lost our business. You simply don’t care. Do you understand that the packages you are delivering are frozen fish? It isn’t safe to eat when it reaches above 40 degrees. When a frozen fish shipment sits three extra days the dry ice it is packed in melts and the fish gets warm. Once again, our shipment was delivered 3 days late and placed in the hot sun. Please fire this driver. Clearly this person is doing this on purpose. This is our fifth delivery with the same result. The fish cannot be eaten. Maybe perhaps your whole company should go out of business because you simply don’t care. To summary issues getting delivery from one vendor: 1. Two shipments were left at the street. See photo 2. The third shipment was delivered 1/2 way to the front porch, left in the sun, and delivered a day late. Wild Alaskan replaced it with shipment 4. 3. Shipment 4 also was dropped off 1/2 way to the front porch in the sun. It was still frozen when we got it.
4. Shipment 5 shipped 7/1, and was to be delivered on 7/3. On 7/3 at 2:58pm local, it was logged as "delivery attempted" and returned to the FedEx shipping depot. It sat through 7/4. On 7/5, someone forgot to put it on the truck, so it sat in the depot. It was delivered on 7/6. Given the number of days since it was shipped, I have not opened it.

Worst customer service

"Hello FedEx. I am totally disappointed with your service. I took 4 days off from work and was continuously monitoring my package to be delivered, but the delivery guy put the status as "Customer not available".
I have been calling FedEx since day 1 for smooth delivery of my packages but FedEx team was unfortunately not taking my request too seriously.
Now they are asking me to pick the goods at the delivery center. I am new to Montreal and I don't have a car.
This is worst service till date by FedEx, I am totally frustrated with you people

Best Service A+

"i absolutely recommend FED X,i use both USPS,and FED X,for the first time fed x damaged something on me but there process with insurance i would give the best possible rating,they paid the claim less then a week and i was able to replace the item for the customer. in comparison to USPS and i ship many packages as i sell and ship packages for a living,i would never recommend usps,they have broken many items on me over the years,and when you try to file a insurance claim there always seems to be a hassle,and sometimes can take up to 3 months and other times they wont pay for the full claim or they make you file the claim repeatedly many times before they will pay for the damage caused by them.,fed x is a totally different much more organized program they have and they handle your packages better then usps and there insurance process is simple not a headache like usps. i would always recommend them before any other service. sincerely,randy aguiar"

How to NOT treat your customers.

"Dear FedEx,

You are the absolute worst and have terrible customer service. Today, I had 6 packages delivered to my apartment which I ordered from a 3rd party. When I arrived home I had a notification that they had been delivered however they were nowhere in sight so I had to scour the apartment complex to find out where they were. It turns out, that they were laid out on the side , not by my door or in the apartments large package room. Over and over again I am dissatisfied with your services and would never out of choice ever use you for my personal shipments or my companies shipments. Every experience I have ever had with you is absolutely terrible and I’m frankly tired of it! I especially hate having to carry up 102 pound package from the first floor of my apartment complex to the third floor of my complex as a by myself as a legally blind woman. I would have just sent you an email or left you a review on Facebook, however, there is no place to review your business on social media, go figure. It would be nice to think that @FedEx would place value in the services you offer to your customers and your large third parties who use you as a shipping option. Obviously, you don’t and have no concern. I don’t usually do this but I am so irritated and was placed in such a bad situation that I want to ensure all of my friends, family, and clients know what terrible customer service you offer. Also, when I called to voice my concerns to your customer service agent they told me to look up my upcoming packages tracking numbers and to go online and make a special note saying I want them delivered to my door. Really?!?! Additionally, no other offers or resolutions given and there wasn’t even a “hey we will do better”. The woman spoke to was very nice and she was kind. However, she did not resolve the problem at all and actually put the resolution in my hands which I have absolutely have no control over, because if I did, those products would have definitely been delivered to my door the first time. Have a nice evening. Please, do better!
