This company does not follow through on what is advertised on their web page. they attempt to sell you extras and when you do not bite, they change the terms and make up stuff.

"I had a very unfortunate experience with this company.I ordered the Motorola PC 850. It did not arrive as of the 24th of Dec so I called customer service. Customer Service informed me my order was cancelled as there was none in stock! The rep told me that I was contacted twice by phone and by email. This was completely incorrect. They were calling an incorrect phone number according to the representative, and I did NOT receive one email to say they were out of stock. The rep asked me if I was ordering a "flash-light". It seems even what I had ordered was incorrect! When I went online again, the Motorola PC 850 is in stock!? Thanks to horrendous and unorganized service I now have no Christmas present to my brother tomorrow. I have now ordered the product from another company."
"TOTAL PIECES OF CRAP!I ordered way before Christmas (on the 13th) after 4 days I noticed that there was no tracking # so I CALLED and was told " the the camcorder was out stock and that they would have them in within 3-5 days and expidite ship to me in time for Christmas. I CALLED again on the 22nd and was told they didn't have any of the package that I ordered but the would sell me and ship me an upgraded package for $100.00 more. Of courese I refused and I asked why they NEVER once contacted me I was told "They were very busy " and that "they were going to contact me" Of course I asked "when after Christmas? DO NOT BUY FROM THEM THEY SUCK!"
"DO NOT BUY FROM THIS COMPANY!!!! I ordered a camera. What I got was someone elses used piece of junk. The camera did not work. When I called to return the camera they could not believe that they sold me a used camera.
After returning the camera I ended up having to contact the credit card company in order to get my refund. It only took a month. In the mean time they are earning interest and I am paying interest on that amount.
I ahve learned my lesson, please do not make the same mistake."
"We ordered a Singing machine for my daughter - Christmas present on 12/15/08. on 12/17 they sent an email stating backorder status. it is
Christmas so, delays are not unusual. we called today 12/19 to check status, and after a 10 minute wait on hold, i was given double talk and "..we dont think we can get this item..." now i would venture to guess FotoConnection knew the situation from the day i ordered (likely before) and made little to no effort to notify us, thus allow my wife and i more time to secure another gift for our daughter. now it is 12/19 and i have to find a suitable replacement, and wait for my money to be refunded. all of which was only discovered and will happen because we called to check the status of our order."
"I bought a Garmin GPSMAP 520s from fotoconnection.com, they said in the webpage that included the dual frequency transducer. I place the oder and they sent me an email to call them to confirm the order, I did it and they tried to sell me more items, I ask the seller twice if it really included the dual frequency transducer he said yes, The package arrive with no transducer, also It had on the invioce W/O transducer, I call them and they said they will send it right away, 3 days later I call them again and said are you sure it didn't come with it? call Garmin to see why is not included. I did it and found they had a mistake in the webpage and they told me to return the product they will send the correct one. 2 weeks later, they said they will change the product but won't pay my 2day air return and I need to pay $70 dlls extra for the transducer. I cancelled the order, will never buy anything from them again"
"SCAM. Placed order which stated it was in stock. As expected, a fast-talking salesperson named Sam called me up a day and a half later to "confirm my address" (which is, of course, a load of BS as it was already entered in my online order). Highlights of his conversation: "that camera doesn't come with a battery" (well, it should come with one new in the box) "well, the battery only lasts 15 minutes but I can sell you a 2 hour battery for 89.98" (no thanks, I would just like the camera I ordered, with its own battery and all of its new parts) "well, um...we're out of stock in that camera, this is the only 'bundle' we carry". (Then please cancel my order). Wow, we've gone from "there's not battery" to "the stock battery is no good, can I sell you another one" to "you cannot buy this camera unless I force you to buy this other overpriced battery". SCAM. "Sam"...how do you sleep at night?"
"FotoConnection offered the best price I could find on a GE Profile cooktop along with free shipping. It arrived just six days after I ordered it, a lot better than many online companies. Also, I was able to track the UPS shipment online. I'd recommend them highly."
"On December 8th I ordered CRIMSON RED Nikon Coolpix S60 digital camera for my wife for Christmas. I did not receive any information on the order so I called about 2 days later and spoke with a very rude person who tried to up-sell me long-life batteries and a higher capacity memory card. When they finally understood what NO meant they responded with "IT WILL BE SHIPPED TODAY" and the CLICK! The order did not ship the next day but rather 2 days later. When i recieved the camera the box was open, there were no clear protective stickers on the camera, and the power cord was dirty! Not to mention, IT WAS BURGUNDY. I immediately called them and they said we should file a complaint with UPS. I said absolutely not this is your fault and not UPS. Then they said i couldnt return it because I opened the box. I told them regardless it is not the camera that I ordered. Then they transferred me to a manager who stated this camera does not come in Crimson Red and fought with me that they dont even show this on there website. After about 15 minutes he finally saw they did and also did show it on there website. He told me it was on backorder for 2 months and i would have to wait. It is available at every store in the USA right now. Bottomline, they did nothing for me but promise a $25.00 gift certificate, which i have not yet to recieve. Horrible company and would not recommend to anyone. I now how to give my wife the wrong color, opened camera for Christmas or shell out another $300.00+ for the red one."

"I ordered the Nikon D60 w/ 18-55mm VR lens on 12/1/08 and ended up canceling the order on 12/14/08 because the order had still not shipped! On 12/1, I ordered the camera & followed instructions on a confirmation email to call a 1-800 # to speak to Victor, a salesperson. He proceeded to rudely tell me that the the lens I was buying was junk & I should upgrade, that the standard memory card would only hold 15 or so pictures and the battery would die very quickly, so I should purchase upgrades. I declined. The memory card they wanted to sell me was overpriced & same with the battery. As for the lens, if they were planning on sending the lens as advertised, it was a very standard lens to use with the D60. I had researched this camera heavily prior to purchase & he also lied and said that this lens wouldn't auto focus with the camera. It does, I have used it in a store. In addition, at the time of purchase, the Web site listed the item as in stock and shipping within 24 to 48 hours. Victor DID NOT indicate any shipping issues. Despite all the rudeness, I decided to stick it out because the price was low.
I kept checking the order status and it never listed as SHIPPED. On 12/10/08 I finally submitted a question through the "Contact Us" function about when it would ship. I heard back the same day from the customer service supervisor via e-mail that there was a 3 to 5 day backorder now on the item I had purchased. I decided that was still acceptable since this was a holiday gift and it should still be able to reach us by 12/25. However, the last straw was when my contact us ticket was "responded" to and closed on 12/14/08 informing me that now there was a 7 to 10 day backorder. Web site misinforms about stock and it seemed fishy that the backorder was being continually pushed back. I could not wait for this to ship on 12/24 only to probably find out it wouldn't even ship then. "
"BIG SCAM!!! After ordering, had to call to confirm. I ordered online Sunday, then got a call Tuesday confirming my credit card. Got a call Wednesday asking if I'd like for them to update my GPS for 29.99. I asked them if i could just do this online, and he said i'd pay there too! So, I said yes, then he said he'd give me an extra two years warranty for 20.00, I said yes. He said he would change me to express shipping. All of a sudden my bill was 89.99 more! I asked, and he hurried me off the phone. By the next Monday (8 days after ordering) I called, they said it's shipping 8-10 days....I was very upset. I asked for them to stop the order which i knew they hadn't shipped yet because UPS hadn't even received the paperwork. They said i have 10 days from the date of order! I complained so they gave me two weeks. I received 15 days after ordering....some express shipping! Then I find out, there is no update on this gps and it's free!!!!! I called and spoke to Mr. Fred who was the Customer service rep and supervisor who would not budge. Then told me i'd have a restocking fee. I was furious. He called back and offered me an additional gift certificate. Note, you can't use gift certs on online ordering. DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THIS COMPANY!!! THEY ARE CROOKS!!!!!"
