"Wow, that's a ton of bad reviews...
I had absolutely no problems with this order. Found the site on google, it was quite a bit lower for the exact product that I wanted... wasn't sure if it included all of the accessories (the product was a foodprocessor by Kitchen Aid) so I called the # on the site. I spoke with the sales person, he indicated that everything I expected came with it. I said I wanted to buy the product, he directed me back to the website, I got all of the confirmations via email I expected, and the purchase arrived around or before when I expected it should..
So far so good!
My wife opened the box, everything that we expected came, she was able to use the product and we've already had homemade peanut butter cookies made with home made peanut butter created with the processor.

"I ordered 52" LCD Sony TV I got the TV in time and I have to call back to ask them back for the free HD upconverter .At first they ask me to take survey rating ,if I didn't want to pay a 19.99 shipping fee I was happy with the TV so I had no reason to refuse ,I try to connect to the web page to leave the rating and I couldn't do it,so the women I spoke told me ,don't worry we will send you the HD DVD player today.
After a week and Half I called back to find out about the item ,and I talked to the same person,who told me that I have to pay the shipping and leave the rating survey on the ressellersratings.com web site.that time I connected and completed the survey .OK she said on the phone you will get the item next week.
a week later I got the Free item ,a free DVD player ,But it.s not a HD upconverter HD player as says your add on your web site( suppose to be free w/ the purchase of a TV over $ 839)

I hope they will take in reconsideration my request but I doubt.
If you have a paid order their take your call fast if you have a claim or a request they are fooling around with you.
The TV is great but they are a bunch of liars.

"I ordered a Nikon D40 camera kit with 18-55mm and 75-300mm lenses from Fotoconnection.com on 9/1/2007 for $569.00. I received an e-mail on 9/4 telling me that I had to call them before the order would be shipped. I called and was given a fast-talking routine about how the lenses Nikon sent with the kit were not Nikon lenses, but cheap plastic Vivitar lenses. He recommended that I upgrade to Nikon 18-55mm lens. How much? $169.00 in addition to the $569 I was already paying. I said no, just send the original order.
He then tried to get me to sign an online form saying that I would not send back the "plastic" lenses if I wasn't satisfied with them. I said that I would not. He then said he would sell me the kit with the Nikon 18-55mm lens for only $129 more. I said I wanted to think about it, and he lowered the price to nothing. I said again that I'd think about it.
I hung up and went back to their site and saw nothing about plastic lenses. Then I checked Nikon's site. The lenses they send with the D40 kit ARE Nikon lenses. So I called the sales guy back and told him that I wanted to stick to my original order. He them proceeds to tell me that I have to buy an adaptor for $129 in order for the lenses to fit on the body!
I already knew I was being played, but this did it. I told him to cancel the order, and I followed-up with an e-mail cancelling the order.
DO NOT buy from this outfit. They either do not disclose all the accessories you'll have to buy, or try to convince you to buy things you don't need."

"When I wrote my last review, I had not seen the final price or invoice. Later, I saw that the articles and price was NOT what I had expected, eg, extended warranty--I NEVER take ext. war., and we never discussed it. Other items included some kind of tripod, lens cleaners, etc. Listen, I am a certified pro. (PPA), and don't need or want all that crap aimed at amateurs to seem to sweeten the deal. All I really wanted was the body and "perhaps" a lens. The sales guy seemed friendly, but looking back, he talked very fast and kept shifting attention. I emailed them to cancel order, but they continue to bug me about it. I cannot help feel this is a somewhat shaddy operation. My advice: AVOID THIS OPERATION."
"Same bad experience as others have reported, seems like a classic bait and switch. Asked to phone concerning differing billing and shipping addresses, and was pressured to add items to get the price up. Was informed the "USA warranty" is not the _Nikon_ USA warranty, why would I have thought "USA warranty" meant that? When I finally said let's just cancel the order, was instantly placed on hold, after a couple minutes of silence I just hung up. The order was finally canceled but it took a few weeks to show up as such in their database. All this would perhaps be less traumatic if they didn't already have all your credit card info at the point they start in on the hard sell.
Anyway, hope all the bad reviews will encourage them to clean up their act. Who needs this kind of grief?"
"@#$*%! LIARS! CROOKS! SCUM BAGS! AAAAH! DO NOT try for yourself you will get ripped off. I wish I researched about this site before hand. I bought a package deal with a Canon XH-A1 with other stuff (tripod, tapes, lens filters, camera bag and so on). When you call to confirm they WILL force other products on you and act like your best friend. They lied to me saying I would get this and this for free if I bought this and so on but it was all a lie. I was told if I bought a wide angle lens I would get a telephoto lens for free. Never saw the wide on the invoice or in the package but got the telephoto so I don't know if I paid for it or not. I was an idiot not to look over the total when I confirmed I was too excited because it was my first camera and needed one soon. I didn't get all that much extra but paid a lot more. On the invoice it doesn't show the individual item cost, just the list of the items and the total "package" cost so I have no idea what I paid for and what I got for "free". Also everyone, research about "gray market" products in a nutshell it is a product not made by the original manufacture, its cheaply made by someone else and it is rumored that fotoconnection sells these for the reason of their low prices. When I got the package (today), it was kind of bashed up, the accessories weren't the same as pictured on the site they seem like a cheaper quality, one item is damaged and the camera won't fit in the bag and yes it is a different bag than pictured. I was going to bite the bullet and return it all and deal with the 15% restocking fee but they have a long list of what they don't accept for returns, which is probably almost everything on their site. Even the Better Business Bureau talks bad about fotoconnection on their site. Also go to xxutube and search fotoconnection and you'll see 2 videos about how bad they are and on the details of one of videos is a link to pictures off a lot of companies in Brooklyn in their run down warehouses (I don't have a problem with the city it's just coincidence) as well as a link to the BBB. Once fotoconnection opens again I'll call and see what they offer about my complaint and as well call the BBB and add on yet another complaint about the money greedy, blood sucking, lying, scam artists known as fotoconnection. This company is unethical and needs to be shut down. "

I had previuosly ordered from this companies competitor on the internet and received no customer service whatsoever and when I did not buy the extended warranty and accessories the item was never shipped and I had to cancel the order. "I ordered a $99 camera memory card. They sent an entirely wrong card - wasn't even the same type as fits in my camera. I sent it for a refund, and they subtracted 15% for a restocking fee!!! When they sent the wrong thing! Customer service refuses to give me back my remaining $15, but instead gave me a "gift certificate" for $20. Like I would order something else from them. Totally avoid them at all costs. They also try to pressure you to buy more stuff. The only positive thing is that their prices are good, but heaven forbid you have a problems."
