"called 8-10-07 talked to John House, looking for a non- import usa camera (canon 5d). the rep quoted me a price on the body only. first Lie. because this figure eventually change. The rep, all but added accesories to my order, without my permission. to bump the price of the sale, and when questioned about it, they said that was the price of the us camera. caught in another lie....eventually recieved the camera to open and find a copied owners manual, and a fake warranty regestration that is not from canon, verified that with canon. Moral of this story to to share with all of you that these people are nothing more than scam artist, they lie and manipulate you from the time they make contact with you, don't ever expect to see you money again, if you do buisness with these people....On a better note the only thing i have to be thankful in this whole purchase is that Canon will actually stand behind their product despite the crappy company i purchased this camera from so now i can buy a mack extended warranty.....moral of the story is buy your camera from B&H they are a much more reliable company to do buisness with.....Don't support criminals, that is all these folks are...."

"Awful. I placed an order for a camera August 1. The next day I received an email: Call to confirm. When I called I was on hold for 1/2 hour. When I reached the sales rep I got a very hard sell to purchase upgrades to camera. I actually purchased an upgrade and was promised 2-day delivery. Instead, I got another "Call to confirm" email the next day. I wrote an email telling them to cancel the order or ship it but instead I got another "Call to confirm" email. They will not ship unless you call and get a hard sell from the sales rep. When I called the rep said the camera had been replaced by a different ("and better") model and that it would be shipped immediately. It was eventually shipped on the 9th but I didn't receive it until Aug. 16th. I would NEVER do business with this outfit again."
"I ordered a camera and accessories by phone on Friday August 10th, the initial person I dealt with before they had my money was courteous enough(salesperson named Owen). I received a tracking number and an invoice by email listing the items, with a total cost - no individual cost per item, so I still have no written confirmation from the company as to what the charge for each item is. This made me uncomfortable, so I researched the company online and discovered many, many unhappy customers, and a company with a reputation for bait and switch tactics(I still have not received one of the items, a camera bag I was told was retailing at $50, but which the initial salesperson, Owen, stated he would sell to me for a price of $25.00). When the package arrived on August 13th, the camera bag was not in there, and there was nothing from the company in the box confirming it would be shipped separately. The tracking info also indicated only the one small box. I called the company that evening, and spoke with 3 rudely abrupt people in a row, all of whom basically dumped me onto another department as soon as they understood what I was calling about, including the initial salesperson, "Owen". During that phone call, the third person I spoke with, a man, stated the camera bag should have been in the box (there is absolutely no way it would have fit in the tiny box), but that he would put in an immediate order to have another one shipped, and if the first one arrived in the meantime, I was to refuse delivery. on Tuesday evening, August 14, I still had not received email confirmation of my conversation of the previous evening, so I sent an email requesting tracking confirmation. On Wednesday evening, still having had no response in writing that the item was being or had been shipped, I once again called. This time, I spoke with an extremely rude man calling himself "Pete". I can't even begin to describe how rude, condescending, and abrasive he was during this conversation. Although at no time did I raise my voice, I was accused of yelling at him, and told I would just have to wait for my item, as they were very busy and didn't have time to just drop everything to ship this one item. I was told, after repeatedly requesting it, that I would receive an email from them with a tracking number, but as of the evening of August 16th, I still do not have it. At this point, I have sent a final email (3rd request, actually) advising them if I don't have an email with a tracking number by 5pm tomorrow, I will instruct my bank to take back the $25.00 from their account."

"Don't waste your time with this company.. First off, they company had me write a review before I had even recieved the product. I am taking back everything I said in my previous review.. Don't bother paying extra for Trucking so you can get a phone call prior to delivery. I ordered a $4,000 Television, paid extra for trucking so I could arrange a delivery date and they never called me and left my Television just sitting in my driveway for everyone to see. Good thing that I have honest neighbors, because someone could have stolen it very easily.. Oh and the free items are a joke as well. They said I would recieve a free DVD player, well it came almost a month after I made my purchase - when it came the box was totally damaged and it was a REFURBISHED DVD player.. What a slap in the face.. DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME WITH THIS COMPANY."
