"Never again! I will never again choose this reseller for any product in the future. They told me the Nikon D70s camera body "would arrive in a week." A week later, after no camera, I call the sales department (boy, are they RUDE...talk about LOVING YOUR YOB!!) some rude guy tells me it won't be in stock for 3 weeks. When I told the sales person I want to cancel this order...believe it or not he says "okay," then hangs up.

For an extra $40 dollars I order this from Ritz Cameras and they shipped that day. I received my camera 3 days later.

"DO NOT order from these guys. I had major problems placing the order, then after two weeks I called to check on the status they told me it was cancelled.

I asked why and the guy told me it was backordered. I asked him why would my order be cancelled? It should just take longer. He told me he was just relaying the message then HUNG UP on me.

The thing that's really bad about this is that I was ordering a camera that had a mail in rebate, and the day I ordered it was the last day I could get it. So now that this transaction got cancelled it's going to cost me another $250 to get this camera. These guys are clowns and all my dealings with them have been unprofessional.

"I placed an order with fotoconnection.com because they had the best price on a Canon 30D camera that I could find. My previous experiences with "low price" online camera dealers wasn't very good, though (they would sell me out of stock items, saying they were in stock, etc), so I placed the order by phone. I asked them specifically if they had the camera in stock, and how long it would take to receive it. They said yes, it was in stock, and it would take 10-14 business days to receive it. They also said they would email me a receipt, and email me when it was shipped.

3 days later, no receipt, no shipping info sent. I called them, only to be told that yes, it would be shipped soon, from their HONG KONG office, and would take 14-21 days to get here!

They also gave me a bunch of BS about needing to purchase an extra warranty. I cancelled the order--way to sketchy for my taste, when I'm trying to purchase a very expensive camera. I'd rather pay more, to a store that will give me a straight answer.

"The company charged my credit card 100$ more than it was supposed to from their internet site and later also confirmed over the phone. Having found out this I requested to cancel the order. They said they would cancel it. But they only did a partial cancellation, viz they still sent me a bunch of stuff which is useless without the camera I was going to buy! Bad attitude, called me liar and so on. Avoid them."

"I ordered an item and the purchase price including shipping was ~$65. my credit card was charged $99. I called them up and asked why they charge me $ 35 more. Answer: insurance. $35 insurance for an item that is worth $50? I returned the item and I am still fighting to get back my $50 for the item I ordered. This company is a scam. DO NOT ORDER THERE!!!!"

"FRAUD!FRAUD!FRUAD! Dont take the chance with these guys or you will be sorry.If they get your credit card numbers have them changed.Their M.O. is to have the best price on net ,say it is in stock,then call you in 2 days say that the price on internet was wrong (too Low).Try too sell you a bogus extended warranty.Even if you cancel order they will keep calling you for days asking are you really sure you want to cancel this?Every time it will be someone else from fotoconnection..Read more reviews..This place SUCKS and not just a little either."

"*DO NOT ORDER FROM THIS COMPANY, THEY ARE A BUNCH OF CROOKS* I was shopping through froogle and I found this company. Ordered s2 canon camera online and was called by a sales representative lied to me to close the sale by doing a bait and switch for a camera with batteries or battery charger. The sales person lied repeatedly to me. If you deal with this company, you should record the conversations with the sales force. These guys are crooks! I ended up eating the shipping charges and about 2 hrs on the phone. "

"4 months have gone by and still no product or emails. I have tried several times to get my money back and no luck. Be warned. This is the worst place on the internet to buy anything from. They do not have my product in stock nor do I believe that they ever will. i guess you get what you pay for or if you are like my case you get nothing. Sign me up for the joint action lawsuit."

"Buyer Beware.
I ordered a Harmon Kardon home theater package on May 12, 2006. I paid an extra $50.00 to get overnite shipping. The next day I had to confirm the order on the phone. At that time I was told the product would ship the day after we got off the phone. So much for overnight shipping. Well 4 days later I received it with a UPS ground shipping label. When I caled to get credited back my $50.00 dollars I was told that they had to ship it there warehouse in New York from California overnite and that was what the overnight shipping fee was for. And that it was shipped from there New York office to my home in Georgia ground. I asked them why it just not shipped from California to my home overnight? I was transfered to a manager and I gave him the tracking number and he said it was overnight shipping. Even though it took four days to get it. He tried to insult my inteligence and said UPS put the wrong shipping label on the box. I called UPS and they told him that it was shipped ground and they were charged for ground shipping. He was very rude and said oh well he was not going to refund the money. When I told him I would dispute the charge he said he did not care what I did and hung up. I called back and was transfered to another guy who said his name was John and would credit back the $50.00 to my account. I knew by how quick he was trying to get off the phone without getting more information it was a lie. needless to say i never received the $50.00 that was basically stolen from me. I have now entered a compalint to my credit card company.
I also am planning to goto New York Better business bureau. Please avoid this company. I am sure it is just a matter of time until they will be held accountable. And I hope shut down.the company sounds like a bunch of prior and current criminals are the make of the orginazation.

"Ordered the item (Garmin Nuvi 350 GPS)on the phone with Jacob and specifically asked if it was in stock, if it would be shipped from New York, and when would it ship. Answers were yes, yes and 24 to 48 hours.
I politely mentioned that sooner would be better than later ;)
Ordered at 3:30 p.m. ET on May 8. Received tracking number by 6:30 p.m. and it was dropped on my doorstep by UPS before 3 p.m. ET (ground shipping to Connecticut).
Although the box was not shrink-wrapped all looks well and the unit is functioning just fine.
The proper charge was made to my card on May 8 and overall this was a positive buying experience.
I have to admit that I was concerned after reading the reviews, but my experience was very good.

"FotoConnection IS A VERY DISHONESST COMPANY. DO NOT TRUST THEM. BELIVE ALL THESE BAD REVIEWS YOU SEE ON THE WEB. I learned the hard way. They still owe me $354 for an item they could not deliver. Their customer service people would lie about their names so you could not get back in touch with them. They disconnected me when I was on hold waiting for over 45 minutes for customer service and this happened more than once. The item I purchased and they backordered they billed me for. And when I enquired about it they kept saying that the item would be dropped shipped in a couple days. It was the same story every time I called for three weeks! So I requested to be reimbursed they issued an email saying they would credit my credit card and that in 24 to 48 hours I would see a credit on my credit card. It is now 7 full days from the time I received the confirmation email and I have not received a credit yet. The company is a bunch of thieves! DO NOT CONSIDER BUYING FROM THEM!!"

"Purchased a 3CCD video camera and decided (while it was being shipped; not yet received) that I wanted the new Sony HD camera.

I asked if I could return the package to sender via UPS unopened and they said it was their policy to charge a 15% restocking fee even if I hadn't accepted the product yet (something which I plan to see if it is legal).

Then, when I said that I would try out the camera for the alotted 7 days since I would be charged the 15% anyway, I was told several different stories (tactics). I was told that I could not return if opened because it is a "special order". Then, when I inquired why it was a special order and that I was not told of this, they changed their story (tactic) and said that I can try it out but "satisfaction is based on Panasonic" and tried to say that their satisfaction guarantee was only based if the product was defective. Not really the common definition for "satisfaction". He finally broke down and said I can open and return in 7 days, BUT they will charge me for anything that makes this product look not new. He specifically mentioned if there was a fingerprint on it $10; lens cap misaligned another charge, rip in the box, another charge. He even said that if I do an RMA and return to sender he will charge me the "minimum 15%", inferring that there could be add'l charges beyond 15% restocking.

I am assuming that when this company receives returns, they still try to pawn them off to other consumers as "new"

So be weary of this retailer as the products you receive may not be new and if you try to return anything, EVEN BEFORE you received it, they'll charge you.

I've decided to pay the $150 restocking and vow never to shop there again, even though I was a loyal customer and had made around $7500 in purchases. The new retailer I'm checking out is CameraCity.

"Ordered item on April 2. I had to call and confirm order verbally after placing the online order. I have yet to receive the order. I sent an inquiry on April 4 to find out the status of the order. I did not receive any response. I subsequently sent another online inquiry on the order and I am waiting to hear about the status of the order. In the meantime, I will be notifying my credit card company to not accept the charges and the order will be cancelled.

This is a completely imcompetent organization.
