"This company is a bait and switch organization. They try to sell you extra items you don't need/want. When it comes time to deliver on the quoted price, they cannot do it. Customer service bounces you back and forth between departments - hoping you will give up (give in)."

"I ordered a refrigerator which I received damaged. It took 3 weeks of me calling to get them to pick it up. It was finally picked up and I was never sent a replacement.

Customer Service kept making promises that they never followed through on. They charged my card back in January and it is now April and I still do not have my refrigerator.

I had to call me credit card company to reverse the charges.

I would never order or reccommend this company to anyone.

"I ordered an item with express shipping 2 1/2 weeks ago. After the first week, I called and was told that the item is out of stock, but would be shipped the following Monday. Over a week later, I called again, and it still has not shipped. They guy basically insulted me when I told him I was unhappy with the service, and it seems that in order to spite me, he cancelled the transaction.

DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THESE PEOPLE. THEY ARE NOT REAL. WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE EVER.

"I ordered the Kitchen Aid Disposer Model number KCDI250X, 3/4 HP with Whisper Quiet™ Polystyrene Sound Barrier for $137 + 3 day shipping. After finishing my order I only recieved this an email stating my order and invoice number, no details.

What I received today was the model KCDC250, 3/4 HP with no sound barrier, listing on their site for $127. I do feel this is a bit of "bait and switch".

I would not do business with this web site again.

"Extremely easy to deal with over the phone. I bought a camera and was offered suggestions, such as lens filter, extended warrantee, extra battery, etc. There was NO pressure to purchase any of thesse, just the suggestion. Shipping was very fast and a tracking number was provided at shipping. I will recommend them to friends as well as buy from again."

"I was scared to death to place my order after reading the reviews, but my experience was excellent! I found the price on their website, but called to talk to a real person since I was making a $2500 purchase. I ordered a Sony 50 inch XBR TV for the best price I could find ($2498). Yes, they offered an extended warranty, but it was an offer, not high pressure, and the price was better than those I had already researched. They recommended shipping by truck and I agreed. Ordered on Monday, received a phone call Wednesday that it was in town and the trucking company would like to deliver Thursday. We were extremely pleased with the service and the product!"

"This store is a BAIT & SWITCH Operation. I purchased a state-of-the-art SANSUNG DLP TV for a good price. The salesman threw in some cables and a surge protector. The next day (even though their web site clearly states, "All Items New -One Year Guaranty" I was sent an email to confirm my shipping address. The "consultant" then tried to sell me a $400.00 warranty contract. When I refused, he informed me this company is "Not an Authorized Samsung Dealer" and that they bring in their units from overseas therefore I had NO WARRANTY whatsoever. I refused to accept that line so I was turned over to the next level of high pressure salesmen, the "Supervisor", who then began threatening me because I received all of the "free" items from the saleman. After arguing with me for over 30 minutes (and being foul and rude as can be) he finally agreed to sell everything as I originally ordered it but told me I had arrange for the shipping myself. I refused to do this telling him their website clearly stated they arranged for shipping and insurance. He then insisted there were no trucks going to Los Angeles that could drop the TV in Palm Springs (90 miles before LA) -- if you can believe that line. I told him I would not accept that lie and he had responsibility to arrange the shipping. Finally he told me he would do so, but there would be no insurance and if the set arrived non-functional (i.e. they kicked the hell out of it and then resealed the box so the damage was hidden) I owned it and had no warranty (again).

After spending hours trying to deal with these incredibly dishonest people, I ultimately cancelled the order. DO NOT BUY FROM THIS COMPANY. IT IS A GIANT HIGH PRESSURE SCAM OUTFIT TRYING TO FORCE YOU TO SPEND THOUSANDS OF DOLLARS ABOVE THEIR SUPPOSEDLY LOW PRICES. IF YOU DO BUSINESS WITH THEM, BE PREPARED FOR HIGH PRESSURE TACTICS, PUSHY ARGUMENTATIVE SALESPEOPLE, NASTY SUPERVISORS, AND NEVER GETTING WHAT YOU ORIGINALLY ORDERED.

"AVOID THESE SET OF RELATED COMPANIES!!! I ordered online a kit with a DSLR camera and two lenses last week and they called me one our later to try to sell a bunch of other stuff. I was convinced to order a couple of more things. a) they wanted to include two UV filters, I ordered instead one polarizing filter for a given price, they sent me one UV filter; b) they insisted that I purchase a fast speed memory card, which they said was much faster that the one I was about to order from another place; in the packaging list they listed a brand name memory card, but the included card was from a different manufacturer and of half the speed; c) they misinformed me to convince me to buy a warranty, saying that the 1 year manufacturers warranty covers only parts but no labor; d) despite the fact that they gave me individual prices for each item added to my original order, they billed everything together at a single price as a "kit", and the return and exchange instructions said that the parts of a kit cannot be returned or exchanged individually; e) when I complained by email, they responded two days later saying simply to call a phone number, and when I called back to exchange the filter and the memory card, they said that the only way I can do it is by sending back everything, and then they will send it back to me as individual items. Their cheap prices are not cheap any more when you end up with things you don't want."

"AVOID AT ALL COST!!! I ordered a projector this last weekend and they called me to try to sell a bunch of other stuff so I told them to just cancel my order. I was convinced to keep the order but later found a better deal so I sent an email for them to cancel the order. They don't take cancelations over email so I called the minute they opened Monday to cancel which I was told was done and I should expect an email. I didn't get the email so I called back and asked for them to confirm the cancellation which they did and said sometimes the emails get delayed. I found I was charged anyway and called back which they said I didn't cancel the order. They were very rude and very unprofessional. I told them I would contact my credit card and refuse the package and expected all my money back but they said they wouldn't refund the shipping. This is a common tactic among many online companies. I'm sure they tell their agents to ignore requests like mine to stick us with the high shipping charge. Just avoid this as well as any company related to them. They're cheap prices aren't worth the trouble."

"Very dissatisfied with this vendor. I ordered a Pioneer DVR-633H-S DVD Recorder/Player on 1/26. On 1/27, I received a phone call from a rep of the company... the cover reason for the call was to explain the hookups and connections, which was nice, but in actuality they were attempting to sell me a warranty and extra cabling that I did not want. The rep intentionally tried to confuse me by telling me that the unit was an "international" model that carried no warranty in the US. No telling how many unsuspecting customers these people have duped. Then, a week later on 2/2, the "baited and switched" me, calling me a full 7 days after the fact to tell me that they didn't have the unit in stock but that they had a comparable Toshiba.

In short, these folks are crooks and they'll never get any business from me. Baiting and switching is illegal.

"I can't not believe how bad ones customer service could be. I ordered a TV and then was convinced over the phone to get a memory card and camera. They sent me and billed me for two memory cards. Then told me I had to pay for the shipping and a restocking fee for sending it back. When the TV arrived at the local shipping company, the local shipping company would only deliver it Tuesday- Friday 11:00am - 4:00pm. All other times would include a $100 special shipping fee. When I told them I could not be there to accept the package, they told me it would it would cost over $300 to send it back. These people are terrible, DO NOT ORDER FROM THEM!!!! "

"I recently tried to order a Sony KD-34XBR960N television from fotoconnection. I put the wrong credit card number on the order and called to tell them to change it. They informed me that the model I wanted was not in stock but the KD-34XBR960 was and that it was better. So I said go ahead with that and then had second thoughts and did some research. Turns out the N model is an upgrade. So I called back to change it. They then told me that the N model was all of the sudden not in stock and that I would have to wait a week. So I call back the next morning to check on things and the person on the phone informed me that they were in stock and who told me that? So two weeks later and still no sign of the television. I call back and they tell me it hasn't shipped yet. I try to cancel, they tell me I can't, I tell them I'm going to stop payment on the credit card and they say they'll put it on a truck and expedite shiping. We'll see if it ever actually gets here but I will never be going through these people again."

"Terrible customer service. I mistakenly purchased an mini disc recorder that wouldn't work with our mac. Instead of allowing me to exchange it (paying extra) for the mac version they wanted me to just buy another. It seems fraudulant to have only a ten day return policy on mail orders."
