Had to return

"I purchased a refurbished HP PC. I had paid extra for next day delivery. UPS notified me that I had a next day delivery scheduled for the next day. The next morning I got an email from UPS that it would not be delivered as scheduled. That was a Friday, and I didn't receive the delivery until Monday. After It was delivered I called Fry's customer service and they started the refund of the next day freight charge right away. The hard drive in the PC was very noisy, like a popcorn popper, it was bad. I had to drive 45 minutes to get to the local Fry's. The employee at the return dept was very nice. The return had to be checked out by their computer dept. The guy was very nice, BUT he didn't find anything wrong with the hard drive. He told me that there was nothing wrong with the hard drive. I asked him if he heard the noise from the hard drive, and he said yes, but that is what the refurbishing company in Canada used, and he can not say that the head reading noise is bad, again that is what was put into the PC. I understood, and I was given my refund. I asked the guy if he was going to leave that hard drive in the PC and sell it again, and he said YES, that he would wipe the drive clean and start over. I worked for an Electronics service company in 1990, and we did the service work for Gold Star PC's, and the hard drives in them sounded this way, and that was 30 years ago technology. I do not understand why a company like Fry's would let a PC be sold like that one. I gave Fry's a 5 Star rating because they stood behind their guarantee."

Horrible customer service

"They canceled the order multiple times because their contractor refuse to pickup from store. Also upon talking to manager I was promised to have it delivered by their local delivery team. I waited all day and found that they canceled my order. "

The run around

"I ordered a laptop online. The order was confirmed then canceled because they would not accept my debit card. Called them to offer another credit card, was told I needed to reorder from the start because the order had been canceled. I ordered again online. The order was confirmed by email. Then I received another email to say the order was cancelled because they were out of stock. Bought the laptop online from another vendor."

Trying to buy a stereo online

"I placed an order for a speaker turntable bundle. Apparently when you order online from frys, you order directly from a store location. I got an email from them that the order was cancelled and to call the store with questions. When I called they said the last bundle they had was damaged. She couldn’t reorder from somewhere else. I had to cancel that order, find it again online from another store and place the order again. I found it in California and placed the order. I kept looking at the status day after day. Eventually the status said “order has expired”. Needless to say Fry’s online experience has a lot to be desired! I will not waste my time again."

VERY POOR SERVICE AND CAN'T FULLFILL THE ORDER

"I ordered the product and i received an Email that the item will be delivered on 1/22/20. I called the customer service a day prior to check on the status and I was told that the order was canceled or did not process. I didnt received any notification. It appears frys cannot fullfill the order buying online. This is the second incident for me. It happened also when i ordered last christmas and the order was canceled without notifying the customer and the reason. You guys need to stop selling online if you cannot fullfill the order."

The Strikes, I'm Out

"I tried three separate times to purchase a television from Frys.com for a present, but every day I woke up to an email saying they were out of stock (despite them showing up as available at the time of purchase). After the third time, it was too late to get that particular present. I used to love and be loyal to Fry's, but I'm thinking I'll start looking elsewhere. "

"Placed order online that showed in stock but it wasn't and had not been in a long time. They don't keep their site up to date. I received a call saying it would be shipped out that day then a few days later the order was canceled due to it not being in stock. It looks like they have no idea what they have and don't have.
