"I get it that the holidays are that time of year when everybody wants to get what they want... I am no exception!
Placing an order was easy enough; however, not only did I place an order that guaranteed shipment but also recv'd a confirmation as well. 2 days later, I checked on the shipment only to find that the order I placed had been cancelled. The next part of nightmare continued with another online order being placed for an item which clearly had several in stock... To my shock I immediately recv'd an email that the order was immediately cancelled. With my bank notified and the Fry's website up I was ready to attempt one more time... Really? Do I need to go on? Overall shopping experience equals -5! Express delivery equals - non-existent! Product shipping gets a -5 due to contents needing to be 'over-boxed' by the carrier (resulting in damaged arrival of interior accompanying pieces shipped with the product that was signed for at the door)... Amazon, (definitely the way to go from now on) at least, got all my other deliveries right. With the nightmare that IS "Fry's" instead of a loyal customer your company has just lost more than my business but so many others that I will recommend to stay away based on my experience."
"I placed an order for a graphics card from Fry’s for in-store pickup. The order was cancelled, due to it not being in stock in the store. I placed the same order again for shipment to the house, and the order was cancelled again! It’s important to note that both times, the item was listed as “In Stock” for both in-store pickup and shipping. I tried to call the number referenced in the emails (Fry’s Milton). The first 3 times I called, I was on hold for very long amounts of time, so I kept having to give up and try again later.
The only thing I’ll say that was positive: when I finally did reach a person at the store on the phone, the individual was very pleasant to deal with. I know that the individuals involved are often “dinged” for these reviews - She should not receive any negative marks! These problems all seem to be related to larger processes by Fry’s.
Very poor overall customer experience. I’ve shopped with Fry’s for several years and have always enjoyed the stores - I hope the company makes some changes. If not, it may be hard for Fry’s to survive the ongoing “retail apocalypse”! Unfortunately, I ended up going across town to Microcenter to purchase a similar graphics card."

"First I attempted to make a purchase via the website. Nothing was available to.pickuo and then I discovered that you cannot use a Fry's credit card on frys.com. Who does that? Have a company credit card and not accept it at your company online store...all new shades of crazy. So I went to to the physical store and wow, just wow... it was a ghost town and nothing on the shelves. I went looking for an portable HDD and/or a SSD... they had one SSD and nothing else. Long aisle of bare shelves and hooks. I've seen companies that are in the final phase of selling off all inventory and closing their doors with more product. I just left the store in awe and a bit sad... I've really liked Frys. I'll miss them..."
