"I ordered a CPU online. Frys told me they were completely sold out but had one left - it was a demo model that was on the floor. I said OK. They gave me a discount and shipped it out. It turns out that it had a Windows account on it - one of the salespeople I imagine. I couldn't log on because I didn't have the PW or the admin PW. No one at Frys could help me. They kept telling me to take it into a local store and they would help me. I said forget it, you sent me an usuable product and I insisted they pay for the return shipping charges. They did, and I got a full refund which was good, but it was extremely poor service to ship me a computer that had not been wiped clean. "
"Ordered from GA store, received email saying order cancelled because item is not in stock and to order again from TX store. So I did. Then received email saying order cancelled because item is not in stock in TX neither. Went back to website and see the item still shows in stock. Replied email asking if I should just place the order again, no response. If you can't even keep accurate inventory in this era of e-commerce, it's time for you to go out of business."
"Placed an order for a Samsung S10 using the discount / promo code that's sent via email. Placed the order online and selected the shipping option. I did not select the item from a particular store. I waited two days, and my order didn't ship. I called Fry's customer service, and they could not determine why my order didn't ship. After speaking with a store manager at a retail location, I learned that the inventory system for Frys online does not match the inventory for the stores. I asked why my order wasn't routed to a different stores, and the reply was a statement about this is how their online order system works, which did not result in my order being placed to a store with the item in stock. I was also told my order had "expired" after two days.
A customer service rep even tried to place my order directly and was unable to route my order to a store which had the item in stock. The customer service rep had previously called the store and confirmed it was in stock. "

"VERY disappointed. ALL of their Apple products were out of stock. I was looking to buy airpods AND an apple watch AND a mini so was going to spend well over $800....All of their watches were out of stock (old and newer models). ALL of their minis were out of stock. Site DID allow me to order airpods only to get a CANCELLATION notice 5 minutes later. I called their help line and he advised me that there was a "glitch" and the site indicated there was some in stock when in actually...shocker....they were out of stock in those as well!!

"Like many retailers they use a database that doesn't include 100 year old street addresses because they aren't serviced by the USPS. Unlike others they do allow shipping to PO Boxes but the package sits in the warehouse for a week before they actually ship it. "
