I received order confirmation but a couple of hours later, I received a phone call from Fry's stating the only available laptop was an "open box" unit and asking if that was ok with me. I confirmed it was and was advised the unit would ship that evening. Several hours later, I was emailed that the order was cancelled due to a supposed rejection by the credit card co. I then found another laptop on the Office Depot website for $20 less. I ordered that computer using the same credit card with no problem.
I think Fry's needs to get their info correct before initiating communication with customers. "
"Store Cancelled our order. Had to call in to find out why and when the store called back said that our card had been declined. There was no reason for the card to be decline. Fully funded and all the information was correct. Had already purchased from another vendor by the time we got the call back and had no problem using the same card. "

"I live near a Fry's store and they've been my go-to for everything techy. I ordered a new laptop for myself online on a Tuesday and it was supposed to be shipped to my house from OR by the Friday before Christmas. They left a VM on Wednesday to say that the laptop would ship after it's "checked out." They had needed a loaner laptop for another customer so they used my new laptop as the "loaner". By the time I got home, I called about this and said that I shouldn't be paying full price for a used laptop. I was told that the price would be reduced but not how much. During this call I also found out that Chase was blocking my credit card because the purchase was over $300. I cleared the purchase with Chase and I've been waiting for the laptop to come. No phone call, no email, no laptop. It's been two weeks. "

"Had a receipt appear after placing order on computer, waited an appropriate time for delivery and followed up with fry's on phone. Finally reached an employee in service who was able to find out that there was never a charge made on my card because of a glitch in the system but I could now put in an order or pick it up at my local store as it showed that they have 2 of them in stock which is what I did because of time restraints. Unfortunately when I got there it turned out that there was none there though their own system stated there should be 2. The Lady in charge made it right with an alternate though different present with a discount added. It would have been nice if we had been able to get what we wanted at the time we needed it but Fry's employee's did everything in their control to make it right at the Fountain Valley store."
"I purchased a Christmas gift online only to find out that the purchase did not go through because you were out of stock . The electric skateboard was a very good deal . Almost unheard of , yet that is exactly what it was. Frys did have a quick response to my unsatisfying email but with no help in finding a replacement gift . Maybe there should be a team assigned to helping your long term customers find there product ( especially when you advertise that you have it ,
then after purchase inform you don’t) or some type of replacement. Customer service is # 1 with so many people . With such a big company I believe such steps should have been taken ( smaller companies have made

"Ordered a Corsair VoidPro Gaming headset as a gift and they cancelled the order 1 day later, saying they needed more information and could not get in contact with me. They never emailed me anything or tried to call me at the number on the order. Just cancelled it. And yes, I checked my bulk mail and junk mail folders. I don't know if it was a lazy customer service person or what, but I will never shop there again, whether it's online or walking into a store."
