"Needed to repair my G4MDD so I bought an identical one from GainSaver for about $100. It was advertised as a basic, stripped model but came with more RAM, a larger drive and AirPort!

"Unfortunately, I didn't have a very good experience with Gainsaver. I purchased a refurbished 24" iMAC from them and shortly after it arrived I left for an extended trip to Japan. When I returned home and began to use the computer, I found that it was totally glitchy - crashing every few minutes. When I called Gainsaver to discuss what I concluded was a hardware issue (after I did extensive work with Apple online and via telephone), the person who answered the phone told me I was out of luck since I hadn't purchased an extended service agreement.
When I replied, "You mean you sold me a lemon?" he said "Yes" and hung up.

It's still here. It's a piece of furniture. I doulbt I'l order from Gainsaver again."
