"The product arrived in good shape and more or less on time, so no problem there. The attitude of the online sales person was condescending and just this side of rude. I asked how much a part was and he said 49.00 and I just said "wow that much", and then he said" that's the price" in a "take it or leave it tone" which was totally unnecessary. He could have said the same thing in a more friendly manner. So the ordering experience was not pleasant and the online site did not work well which the sales person blamed on me using Microsoft explorer as my browser. Really? Millions of people use Explorer its not really something you want to ignore with your web sites capability. I would hire a new IT guy to redo your web site and train your sales people not to be rude to customers. One last thing your prices are about 15 to 25% higher than several other sites I found after I had ordered. The part I paid 18.95 for is available for 14.95 at several other sites and the 49.00 part that started the issue, is available for 36.00 at three other sites. You asked.

Gatecrafters responded to the above review in "15 minutes" They did an amazing job of making my shipping problems right. I have never experienced better customer service than I have from them on this matter. I will buy all future products from them because of the care they took. They had the money and they did not "have" to make this right but they DID. Thank You

"I ordered two dual gate sets about three months apart. The overall quality on the first set was truly meticulous craftsmanship. A great deal of pride was taken by the person who did the cuts, welds and finished product. The second set looked as though it was thrown together in some back alley. The fit and finish, including the overall quality is atrocious. The welds look amateur at best, definitely not performed by a professional metallurgist.
What a total disappointment!
However, so there is no consumer misunderstanding ... I would definetely purchase another product manufactured from GateCrafters. I truly believe this blunder accidently slipped by quality control."

"I am well pleased with my new opener. It is much smoother than the mighty mule 350. I like the limit setting and less electronic settings. I had all kinds of trouble with power spikes and surges with mm. That is why I had to got to solar and battery only. I did have some problems setting up the estate opener. When I set the closed limit at the full extension it would close and stop early some times. If I backed it up some and shut it would close. I reset the limit back some and kept pressure on 30. It has worked ok since. I am using a 16' tube gate(69lbs) no binding. So far well pleased. "
"Ordered a new Apollo gate opener board and it was defective. Called GateCrafters and was told that I would have to send it to Apollo, in which GC set up a RMA, and I would have to pay for freight back to Apollo. Why do I have to pay freight on something that was supposedly new AND I already had to pay for freight to me the first time?
Also ordered a keypad and it did not arrive with the board. When I called to ask about it, I was told that it was back ordered and would be sent out soon. Should of been told this to begin with."
