" I recently purchased a Apollo 1500 gate opener with 10 watt solar panel and two remotes.
After opening the boxes i discovered two receivers.
I contacted your help desk and was told you provide a different receiver because the remotes are less expensive.
there are no instructions showing how or where to mount your receiver. There is no name on it as are other shown in Apollo installation guide. There is no wiring diagram showing how to connect your receiver to whatever it is suppose to be connected to.Very disappointed so far!
Nothing showing how or where to connect solar panel. i will assume to battery terminals??

"I ordered a new remote for our powered gate, but they sent me a cheaper substitute without contacting me or refunding the price difference. Once I called, they eventually refunded the difference after explaining that the original item was no longer available. Around this same time, I also ordered a replacement key for the same gate motor. I was charged and sent a key set that didn't work. After many calls and emails, as well as weeks of delay, they eventually admitted that they couldn't get me a replacement key and refunded my money. HOWEVER, they did not refund the shipping cost. By this point, I was too disgusted to quibble over a few dollars, but the whole experience felt unsatisfying.
UPDATE: Following my feedback, Matt at Gatecrafters contacted me personally to apologize for the poor service. He found the remotes I had been looking for and sent them free of change, and he is in the process of getting me the keys. The initial experience wasn't ideal, but they did a great job of resolving my complaint. Thanks, Matt!"
