"The entire process went as expected. Packaged product, sent it in, tracked it in transit, notified of arrival, notified it was inspected, received payment. Very few operations follow how they describe themselves, Gazelle does.....
Selling a product? Use Gazelle !!"
"Easy to follow instructions. Prompt service. I received more than anticipated due to the better than expected condition of the phone I sold. "
"Gazelle will give you a price for your device but when they receive the device if it is in really good condition (ours looked brand new) they will actually up the price and give you more! They send out your check quick too."
"Easy and simple. I would use them again "
" I purchased 5 phones from Gazelle since Nov. 2015. I was a huge fan and a completely satisfied customer. I always recommended them to anyone considering a phone. Up until the 5th phone, every one had been in better condition than I expected as I usually ordered the fair or good condition. The last phone had a scratch on the screen but it was no big deal.
This past October 12, I ordered a phone for my Mom. I had the order confirmation and it said that I would be notified once the order shipped. The FAQ section of their website states that most orders ship within 24 hours. All my previous orders were processed quickly. A week after ordering I still had no update. I sent an email through their website requesting a status, no response. About 10 days after ordering, my mother called them. The customer service person said that the original phone had been checked and found defective. They were out of that color and so my mom ordered whatever color they had. The rep said the order would be expedited.
A week later the status still had not changed. I sent another email and had no response!
Finally on Nov. 5 we cancelled the order out of frustration and received a 10% goodwill discount towards a future order.
I was pretty frustrated but decided that it must have been a fluke and decided to try again. I wanted two Iphone 8's for my wife and son. On Nov. 27 I made the order while there was 20% off and added the 10% discount. I waited until Dec. 5, when I had to cancel one of the iphones ordered due to my wife's phone dying and needing immediate replacement. I called that day and was told the order hadn't shipped because it was backordered. I spoke to two reps but apparently the first rep was supposed to give me an incident/work order number for the second rep to work from. She figured it out quickly enough but it ended up I would have to cancel the whole order and wait until another phone became available. I cancelled the order and she refunded the 10% discount, she said they would honor the 20% too but I never received that confirmation. It didn't matter because at this point I was done as a customer. I felt like an idiot for trying the second purchase, shame on me. The first rep said that orders that havent shipped in a few days get flagged to see what the problem is. I don't know why the customer wouldn't be updated. After all this, I had the impression that they maybe use a third party for customer service. There seemed to be a disconnect from what is actually going on there. The most frustrating thing was never receiving any update as to a problem i.e. the phone failed, your order is backlogged.... something! Equally frustrating was to send emails through the customer service prompts on the website and never get any acknowledgment...ever.
I tried to spend about 1500$ in three months with Gazelle and I couldn't. I now need to replace my daughters phone soon too. Bye Gazelle, it was great while it lasted."
"My laptop was just collecting dust. Now its buying me dust to put up my nose!"
"Thank you for making it easy to sell and recycle my electronics "
"Gazelle is great! Great service and reliable. Love ‘em."
"Very easy to use and happy with Gazele!"
"Excellent service and very fair price!"
"Used the service twice so far. Easy to use and no hassle when selling devices. "
"Traded a MacBook Pro that was in very good condition, but had a bit of a delamination issue with the screen. Gazelle's trade-in price was $130 less than Apple's gift card buyback program. But, when I sent it in to Apple's recycler, they dropped the price to half of what Gazelle offered. I rejected the Apple offer and sent to Gazelle, which stuck by its original price. "
"Sold my phone to Gazell when I thought I couldn’t get anything for it. My phone was smashed and not working. Apple told me they would recycle it for free. Gazelle paid me more then I imagined I would get for it and they supplied box and shipping also. "
"I've used the service twice now, they processed the devices within 24hours from package arriving at their location and the credit was in my Amazon account the next day. Great Service. "
"Sold aMacAir ... no hassles, appreciate that!"
