"I traded an iphone in when Gazelle offered a $15 bonus. However, the on-line offer price did not include the bonus. I called customer support and was told to include make a copy of the offer and submit it with my phone, and I should get the bonus. I followed those verbal instructions but did not get the bonus. I then called support again and was told to e-mail the bonus offer, which I did. Then I had to speak to a next level supervisor to get the $15 bonus. Then, they finally e-mailed me the bonus several days later. Quite a cumbersome process which, to me, just means they really didn't want to give the bonus unless you had the time to be very persistent."
"Recently bought an iPhone 5s from Gazelle. The only type they had available was the more expensive "Excellent condition" phone. Gave it to my teenage daughter for her birthday and and in less than a month the iPhone glass was coming apart from the phone. Because I bought the phone prior to her birthday, the warranty Gazelle offers expired before we noticed the glass malfunction and therefore Gazelle said tough luck. Needless to say, I won't bother buying from them again. "

Only complaints - the constant, constant, CONSTANT emails from Gazelle once you’re on their radar and the ‘reminder’ to send in my device. For the love of god, the box just arrived yesterday. "I've placed in order on their site, the next day I tried to logon and check the order status and check the description and specs of the MacBook Pro I have purchased. It won't let me logon, I clicked forgot password, I never received an email with the reset password link, I called them and asked how do I logon to my account so I can check the status of my order and get the description and specs of it. (They only have the name of the item on their site, they don't have a description, specs, shipping info etc...) I talked to a female on the phone and she said they don't give you accounts on their site or you can't checked the status or get a description, she said she will send me a link in the email so I can see the description, specs and order status of my order. I get the email, I click the link, I go to the site and they ask for a user name and password, I emailed back and said I don't have a user name and password for the site that you gave me, no response, so i called, I told them whats going on and I want to check my order status and see the specs and description of my order, she says okay, I am about to email you a description you should have it in about 5 minutes, I said okay, I get the email and it is a screenshot of the order confirmation of when I've paid (something I have already). So I emailed back and said this is not what I have asked for, I asked for the description of my order, the specs and status of my order, they send me an email back with a tracking number for my order (still no description or specs) The tracking number says it has not shipped (why give people tracking numbers if their orders have not shipped?) So, the day is over, so I call the next morning and say, I want to my cancel my order, they said it is too late to cancel my order, I said, okay, when should I receive it in the mail?, She says the usps hasn't updated their system yet and I should see tracking information shortly (I have already received tracking information from usps, it says the item has not shipped yet). I said okay and we hung up, so go their website and contacted them through their site and said I wanted to cancel the order, they said I have 60 to 90 minute window after i purchase to cancel the order, I said okay, when should I receive my order?, he said We are unable to say when the device would arrive to you and it hasn't shipped out of our warehouse yet. I said, if the item hasn't shipped, then why can't I cancel my order and get a refund? I get no response. Mind you, I haven't even received the product yet and they are taking me through all of this. On the screenshot that sent me, it had big commerce under the name of my computer, This means that gazelle doesn't own these items, they are taking peoples money and going other places to buy them first, ship the items to themselves, then ship them to the customers. I found this out when I looked at the screenshot that they sent me. Now I see why it is so many bad reviews on this company. I did search for reviews on this company myself but I saw more good reviews than bad, so I gave them the benefit of the doubt. After searching again for reviews I see over 300 bad reviews on one site like 300 bad reviews BBB website, 50 bad reviews on ripoff report website and many other bad reviews on their on website. I don't recommend this company to anyone. They are scammers and have bad customer service. "

"I've used gazelle before to sell my phones and have always gotten a fair deal - they always gave me what the phones were worth - I always keep my phones in cases with screen protectors so I usually get top dollar. Well, not this time! I sent my phone to them in pristine condition. it was an iPhone 6 plus, which lived in a speck military grade case and tempered glass protector since I took it out of the box. Not only did Gazelle claim that my phone wasn't in excellent condition, they said they found scratches on the glass and case. sorry NOT TRUE. they further stated that I said my phone service was ATT, when in fact they argued it was a T Mobile phone, which would devalue the worth even more. So instead of the $145 it was worth, they tried to scam me down to $110 or something. I asked for my phone back and I BETTER get my phone, and not the one they described. "

"Worst experience. 7 days after my shipment was suppose to been at my house i call and they say they never recieved payment .. BUT, THE FUNDS CAME OUT MY ACCOUNT. So they start telling me they will push it to the engineering team so i can get my phone asap. 3 days later i call asking if its been processed and they tell me no. They offered me my shipping and 10 percent off my entire purchase so i relaxed. Until i read other peoples REAL LIFE PEOPLES reviews. I called and requested for my money back, i thought i was going to have to file a claim with paypal but lucky, i recieved my refund about 4 hours later. Maybe because i was calling them every hour for an update. "
