"Stay away from Gazelle and, in particular, from selling them any used electronic device. Once you send them your device, they routinely downgrade the quoted buying price (without actually looking and inspecting your item) due to cracked display or scratches or some other fault that they claim they have found although none are present.
I have sent them a genuine Apple (Cupertino, CA) factory inspected iPad with no scratches nor cracked screen only to be advised otherwise. I have sent them an unlocked iPhone only to be advised that the phone was network locked (the phone was actually purchased directly from Apple unlocked).
Obviously this is the scam company with deceptive advertising practices and possibly fraudulent business practices and pathetic, if any, customer service.
ecoATM, LLC acquired Gazelle in 2015 – since then, the service deteriorated and Gazelle is no longer a reputable nor reliable company for consumer to consider, in my opinion.

"Ordered a phone on a Saturday, by Wednesday I still was not notified that it was shipped. When I called they said the phone failed the inspection and that they cancelled my order. This was all without notifying me. They said they would refund the money and give me 10% for a new phone. I had to call back on Friday, because I still did not receive my money back to order a new phone. They said that the order was cancelled on Wednesday, but the refund wasn't issued. She issued the refund and now I have to wait another 3-5 business days. Would never reorder from them."
