"HORRIBLE COMPANY WITH NO CUSTOMER SERVICE! IN THE BUSINESS OF RIPPING PEOPLE OFF!!!

Ordered two items on 12/10/11. Received email with tracking number on 12/11/11. After 9 days of not recieving items I emailed company with item not received complaint. Received email three days later stating that they would open an investigation ticket and if after 9 days I had still not received the items then to contact them again and they would come up with an alternate solution. I have repeatedly tried to phone the company and the line automatically disconnects after putting you in the queue for customer service. The tracking number finally says that it was delivered to mail inovations 11 days after original order date and now 16 days after original order date I still have not recieved item. I am contacting the BBB next. DO NOT ORDER FROM THIS COMPANY!!!!!

"Extremely disappointed. Past service excellent and fast. This order was placed and "shipped" 12/08/11. Still haven't received it. Still no record of tracking number in the shipper's system. Several contacts with Handhelditems still unresolved. Slow response and no action. "

"I ordered a PURPLE "peace sign" picture frame/ message center for my granddaughter for Christmas on 12/06/11. @ 10:30 am. That same evening, I recv'd an e-mail stating that the item had been shipped. A WEEK later they sent an e-mail saying the item was out of stock. Now I'm confused???? How did they accept my money and then say the item had been shipped if it was out of stock? I called and TRIED to speak with a "rep" who sounded like he was "stoned" who said it was all just a "glitch" on their website. He said they had the exact item in 2 other colors and if I wanted one I had to choose from red or blue instead of the purple one that I ordered. I didn't have any choice but to accept a different color, even though it wouldn't match her room. I FINALLY receive the package, only to open it up to find that it is NOT the identical frame in a different color. This one ALSO has a different design on it. SEA SHELLS! I ordered peace signs! Now,I don't have time to send it back. DO NOT order from this company!!! "

"Stinks. Purchased an iPad case that appeard to be a great deal. Case emitted a terrible odor that makes it useless. Customer service was less-than-helpful...got a form response back. Don't order from this site!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I won't!!!!!!!!!!!"

"I have to admit, the prices on the items I purchased were good. Unfortunately my order still hasn't arrived some 16 days later. They state after the order is recieved it often takes 4 days to fulfill the order to ship, even though I recieved an email from them that stated my order had been shipped on 12/7. The items were shipped through some hybrid method, some UPS then through USPS... I called them to inquire about my order and the first CSR told me sometimes UPS doesn't update their tracking information because they might be too busy or justy lazy! Then he proceeded to tell me it just takes a while to get to me. Not sure whats going on with my order, but if I don't get it by today I be asking for a full refund. On another note if you plan on ordering something from this company I would suggest that you pay the extra money to have the items shipped express. At least this way you can track your items."

"I ordered item forgot to put in the coupon code called the next day told they would credit my account. I waited to weeks called back asked about the credit was told the the person i talked to was incorrect they would not credit my account. I was told that a supervisor would call back that night never did. Person i talked to sounded impaired. Item arrived late 5 day late. Wont order from them again."

"Ordered gifts for 7 nephews. They were sent USPS(even though other options were available). Package never made it to me, but USPS tracking said "delivery confirmed" (hence no paypal recourse). Contacted company, they said it wasn't their problem and to contact the postal service. I had already done that at both federal and local level. They said they woud "open ivestigation" with post office. Sadly for me, Amazon would have replaced the items free of charge. Guess I'll be shopping there from now on permanantly. Sadly, after a second partial reorder, they will have lost my business for good."

"One word.... HORRIBLE!!! They sent me the wrong Iphone case that I ordered. I can not get a hold of ANY ONE from the 1-800 # that is listed. It rings for a few times and then will hang up on you! Horrible customer service! You can't get a hold of anyone! Now I am stuck with this wrong iphone case that was supposed to be a gift!"

DO NOT BUY ANYTHING FROM THIS COMPANY!!!
I ordered a Canon 5D Mark II body, a Canon 580 EX II flash, one extra Canon battery, a SanDisk Hi Speed CF card, 3 year pro warranty, and a professional grade tripod.
Their Canon "expert" insisted a different brand flash "just as good with all the features and cheaper" and a "better, faster and cheaper" CF card.
This order showed up in a flimsy box that one end and corner had split open, I had FedEX make a note of it.
The camera body was in a camera-kit box with the lens and all of the papers/cards removed.
There no 3 year warranty papers,the other brand flash would only fire at full power if used with the Mark II,instead of the Canon battery they sent another brand which can't be charged on the Canon charger. They sent another brand CF card which happens to be slower and more expensive then the SanDisk.
The professional grade tripod they sent is just cheap plastic gargage!
Canon said they do not honor that type of 3 year pro warranty.

Also there was no Lens Cleaning Kit, no LCD Screen Protector, no Fiber Cloth and no Memory Wallet as promised.

I e-mailed them my concerns and they responded with an e-mail requiring me to phone them.
I called and they refused to look at my list of e-mailed concerns.
When I discribed the poor packaging and the torn tape on the box they tried to blame FedEX when I told his it was not FedEX but BestPricePhoto's poor packing, HE HUNG-UP ON ME!!

I then e-mailed them and told them to have FedEX pick-up this flimsy box of cheap plastic.

They e-mailed back with a RMA AGREEMENT minus $467.00 and demanding that I sign it or no refund at all!!

"Here's my sad, sad story . . .

Early on Tuesday 12/06/2011 I emailed HandHeldItems.com to verify that two items I wanted to order were in stock. While I was waiting for a response I called twice and verbally verified with two different customer service agents that both the items I wanted were in stock. The email response I received also verified that both the items I wished to order were in stock. With this information and the plethora of positive customer reviews I felt confident in placing my order online through the website.

The website says that orders are supposed to be processed within 12-36 hours so the items should have been shipped to me on Thursday 12/08/11 or Friday 12/09/11 at the very latest. I hadn't heard anything back by Thursday 12/08/2011 so I submitted a customer service request through their website to which an agent named Ted responded stating that these items are shipped from another warehouse (which I already knew from a previous call) and that he would check with them and get back to me ASAP.

I hadn't heard anything by Friday 12/09/2011 so called the company and spoke to another rep (I forget the name) who was going to check on it and give me a call back but that never happened either. Since I had not heard anything back by Sunday 12/11/2011 I sent another email to Ted and also sent an email to the agent who had previously verified that the items were in stock (Danny).

It is now 4 days after first getting a response from the ticket I submitted and I have yet to hear anything back. Alex said that he would check with the warehouse and email me back in an hour (by 12:15pm CST).

At 11:15am CST on Monday 12/12/2011 I called HandHeldItems at 1-***-***-**** and spoke with Austin regarding the order I placed on Tuesday 12/06/2011. I explained the situation to Austin. It is now 4 days after first getting a response from the ticket I submitted and I have yet to hear anything back. Alex said that he would check with the warehouse and email me back in an hour (by 12:15pm CST).

I gave Austin some extra time and checked my email at 2:00pm CST but had received nothing from him. This is getting a little ridiculous as I also placed three other orders with three other companies at the same time and I will have received all those products by tomorrow Tuesday 12/13/11. I decided to try the online chat with the company and also called the company back at 2:10pm CST. The online chat didn't work because “all online reps are busy” and I was unable to reach anybody at the Customer Service phone number (AGAIN!) . . . it would ring and ring then go silent and disconnect me.

I called the company back again and was finally able to get ahold of Alex in the accounting department. He placed me on hold and contacted the warehouse that my items were to be shipping from. He said that the information I was given regarding one of the items being in stock was incorrect. I asked that he go ahead and cancel the order for that particular item and ship the other ASAP. He said he would have it taken care of today and the item should ship out no later than tomorrow and I would be refunded the cost of the first item and the shipping cost difference.

I still hadn't heard anything back by 6:15pm CST on Tuesday December 13th 2011 so I called the company back and spoke with Austin in Customer Service again. He said that my order had not been updated yet but that he would check with “Kevin” (whoever that is) as soon as he got off the phone regarding the issue and call me back at my home number in about 30 minutes. Well, I waited until 8:30pm CST and still had not received the promised call. I tried calling the company back but of course they had already closed for the day.

I called the company back at 11:40am CST on Wednesday December 14th, 2011 and spoke with Kari who said she is a supervisor. She placed me on hold to check with the warehouse. Kari told me the warehouse is going to ship the item today and that she will call me back in about an hour with an update and hopefully the tracking number. She called back at about 1:15pm CST to tell me that she still didn't have a tracking number but is going to stay on top of the issue and will let me know as soon as she has it.

I called the company back at 3:00pm CST on Wednesday December 14th, 2011 and spoke with Kevin who told me that Kari had gone home for the day. Kevin told me that their system shows the item was shipped yesterday and the tracking number should be uploaded into their system from the warehouse by later today. Kevin said that if I haven't heard back from him by later today I can call him back (he actually consented to giving me his extension number) to get the tracking number.

I hadn't heard anything back yet so called the company back at 6:40pm CST (just before closing time and spoke with Kevin who said that there still was no tracking number. I explained to him that I was VERY concerned because I had read some reviews from customers who said they were told their orders had been shipped but were never given a tracking number and it turns out that their orders never really were shipped at all. He offered to cancel the order and provide me with a full refund and said that he would email me all the technical details once the cancelation and refund had been processed. I'm not holding my breath.

I then called J&R.com and ordered the same product (verified it was in stock first) for about $10 cheaper (including 2 day shipping) and the rep was up front with his name and extension number. Not only was J&R MUCH more professional but they ended up having a better price to boot!

I would gladly pay money to NOT order from HandHeldItems. I do not anticipate EVER ordering from HandHeldItems again and highly recommend that you run the other way as fast as you can.
