"I never heard of this company but they came up in my pop up zone- I was wary! The rug was very close to what I was looking for at a great price so I went for it. Colors matched the photo, rug has no unpleasant rug odor or outgassing, it is really very beautiful.

"The rug was well packed, but they stick a huge sticker to the rug that left a ton a VERY STICKY ADHESIVE to the rug that will not come off. The rug is beautiful, but it is ruined by the sticky glue. "

Iwent to their site from the EBAY site. But I have no protection from EBAY. The vendor charged my credit card, I have receive the lesser of the two items I ordered. Cannot get a response from vendor.

"I was not home to receive my deliver so contacted FedEx to have my rug held at facility by since sender had it blocked so I couldn't make any delivery changes I had to contact them--waited on hold twice for over 45 min--both times requesting that package be held as I would not be home to receive. The request was never actually made to fedex. Fedex then told me that the company has it blocked so they aren't even allowed to make any delivery changes. My rug was delivered when I was out of town, thankfully
I was able to get someone to take it inside for me so I didn't have $1000 package sitting outside to be stolen. Was incredibly frustrating and disappointing that despite multiple phone calls and multiple emails to customer service ( to which I didn't receive any replies) I had literally no options!! "
"It was VERY difficult to get you on the phone, First to order the rug, then to tell you about my unhappiness about the rug I received. I sent an email, which was answered promptly. I responded but have now waited about a week with no response. I know many people are working from home; I don’t know if this is part of the problem. I was told I could get a partial refund because my rug has colors that have run. I want to leArn what the refund is so I can decide if I want to return it before the 30-day deadline. Please get back to me.

"Extremely disappointed with my recent purchase experience with Handknotted.com
I ordered two rugs, and at first everything seemed fine, they shipped quickly via FedEx, and was expecting deliver the following week. Unfortunately, midway through the process of getting to me, FedEx returned the shipment to the SC shipping center of Handknotted, with no indication as to why. Ok, I understand that sometimes things happen that are unavoidable, and my expectation was that I would simply call Handknotted and have them resent. But, they don't actually have customer service apparently. Sure, there is a number to call and an email address you can send messages to, but here I am 2 weeks later, after calling 4 times and spending 10-20 minutes on hold each time waiting for someone to answer, which never happened. I also sent emails which were never responded to. I would definitely recommend that buyers beware this company. They are quite simply not committed to customer service in any way. I now have to talk with my credit card company to force the issue of a refund. Yay. "
