One problem is that we do receive requests and incur Home Advisor charges for leads that are not from the owner of the property, typically from a potential home buyer or realtor, requesting an "Information only" cost estimate for the type of work we perform, but the person requesting the cost estimate is not authorized to contract with us for the work requested.
I hope that Home Advisor would consider reducing the cost for leads for contractors from non-property owners, or find another way to reduce this type of non-productive lead."
