"I am shocked w/ the lack of customer service by this place. I called to talk to a representative and not one but two of their employees were horrible in handling the situation. I placed two orders with them 3 weeks ago and has not yet been shipped. Ive checked early in the morning prior to calling to confirm that the package have not been shipped. The representative said that it cant be canceled b/c it has been schedule to go out this week, i then wanted to speak w/ a manager b/c of the rude service i received. The manager then said, oh the package have been shipped and it cant be canceled. ( this was in a span of less than 5 minutes when the order changed from scheduled to ship.. to shipped). Im not sure if they just changed it or just submitted it instantly but that was unacceptable). I have contacted this company on its website but did not receive any attention at all regarding this cancellation; and when i asked them bout this inquiry- they denied receiving this at all. I then gave the ticket number and finally they admitted receiving it. I then requested to talk to supervisor .. and he was able to cancel one of the 2 order for me. I will have to check periodically for my refund as customers have complained about delays on that as well. I am ready to file complaints to the consumer affairs if i do not receive my refund."

"Stay away... I am about to cancel my order. I ordered a Samsung fridge in the beginning of June. I have waited patiently for almost two months. The customer reps keep telling me it will ship. It takes about 40 minutes to get a rep on the phone. If you talk to a sales guy, they will hang up on you as soon as you ask service questions. These folks are REALLY SHADY"

"I have to add a few more of my thoughts here. I believe that the 5 star reviews on this website are added by employees of Home Everything. Look at them. They all contain the same advertising verbage in every add you see.

I also think that this company takes your order then charges your account. Then, the company will wait until suppliers start to discount their items towards the end of the season. In this time, they hold your item and do not ship it. This gives them the opportunity to buy the item at the end of the season for a large discount.

For example, you buy a grill from them in june thinking you are paying $899 and not paying shipping or sales tax. They charge your credit card and wait until august. In august, that same grill is $499. They then buy the grill for $499 and ship it to you. They made $400 and you lost a summer of grilling.

Their entire ploy is to make you think you are getting a deal by not paying for shipping and sales tax. Bottom line is, that they lie.

My advice is to contact the better business bureau like I did. Soon I will be pushing for a class action lawsuit since my entire family is comprised of lawyers. So, keep checking this site for more information.

"There are much better choices! I've been waiting for 3 weeks for my vacuum cleaner. They have changed the expected to ship date on me. i called to cancel and they said it shipped and will have tracking sent to me. No tracking sent to me. Had to log in to the site to get the info the next day, unfortunately the tracking is not coming up in the Fed-X system which tells me that it really hasn't gone anywhere yet. At this point I could have had it from another source for $30 cheaper and received it already.
Very weak communication on their part about the status. I hope the product actually arrives or I'll be paying them a visit directly.

"I will never order anything from this company again. I ordered a fridge in June and cancelled the order a few days later. I got an email that confirmed my cancellation which said that my credit card would be credited back. They charged the card immediately after I made the order. I waited and waited and did not receive the credit back. I opened a support ticket, I received an email indicating that the credit would occur within 5 days. 5 days later - no credit and my ticket had been closed. I opened a new ticket - I got an email that apologized and said the credit would occur in 48 hours. 5 days later - still no credit and the ticket had been closed. I opened a third ticket and received no response. I waited another day and opened a fourth ticket. At that point I gave up and asked my credit card company to deal with it. I am disgusted by the way this company has done business. I shop online frequently and this is the first time I have ever had something like this happen."

"My experience was HORRIBLE, and is still not yet completely resolved. I ordered from this site thinking it would save me money. 2 weeks after I ordered I called the company to find it was on back order. Then 1 week later, still on back order. Then I called and all the sudden they said they could ship it out on Tuesday of the next week. I figured if I waited this long I could wait a few days. I called Tuesday and they said they "lost" my product, then "found" it, so it did not make it on the truck. The next order goes out friday. I asked about cancelling the order and they said they would ship it out no charge Wed. Called Wed. and said it would not be shipped out until Friday. I immediately cancelled the order, went to Home Depot, ordered a refrigerator and had it delivered the next week. 3 weeks after cancelling I find out they have not yet CREDITED MY ACCOUNT! This is unacceptable. Now I am being charged by Bill Me Later for interest on a product I never received. Such a waste of time ordering from this company. Please beware and just go to a local store and pay a little extra. It's worth it!"

"If you have nothing but time to stay on the phone to find out where your item is.... the one that has been charged to your credit card 2 months ago... then HOME EVERTHING is the place for you. I ordered a refrigerator from them in May 2011, with a promise ship date of 2 weeks , after the second week I called ( left on hold 30 minutes to get thru). I was given another ship date for the next week, after that date passed with no signs of delivery I called again another (20 min hold , I was given another shipping date. Well you get the picture. This went on for 2 months... yes I said "2 months". I missed all of the rebate deadline dates. They even re- issued a new invoice with new purchase date so I could qualify for the next months rebate which was ($200 LESS) than original rebate I had qualified for. What a deal...$200 less in rebates because they missed shipping me the item in time.. Finally after many emails (never answered), and learning how to manipulate the phone extensions. I finally was able to speak to someone to cancel my order.. they were angry and screaming at me but still promising to ship it out that Thurs ..Yeah right....NO THANKS.. Now they promised to credit my card back in 2-3 days... a week later and after a threat of contacting the Consumers Affairs did the credit show up on my card. It is now the end of July and I still need a refrigerator. IF YOU NEED HEARTACHE ,HEADACHE, STRESS, BEING TREATED LIKE DIRT WHILE THEY GAIN INTEREST ON YOUR MONEY AND NOT REALLY IN A HURRY FOR YOUR ITEM , THEN BY ALL MEANS SHOP HOME EVERYTHING"

"The worst experience ever! Never received my dryer. I'm still waiting to get my money back. I think it is a scam, they offer good staff at lower than other prices without intention to deliver just to keep your money as long as possible. Avoid!"

"Ordered a Weber Summit S670 natural gas grill on July 2nd. 18 days later, they have no idea when they will have it in stock. Are they selling products and then trying to figure out how to get them??? Deal with someone that can actually supply the product. Just paid $150 more to buy from someone that I know can get it here. Save your time and money."

"I cancelled my order because of the slow shipment. More than 1 month after my cancellation, I still have not received my refund on my credit card. I contact them 3 time, each time they promise to refund me in the next 3-5 business days, but that has not happen. For now, I have to pay my credit cad charge for the things that I didn't receive. Overall, pretty bad shopping experience"

"I ordered a Weber grill on June 21st, after it displayed as "In Stock". After trying to check the tracking on the order the next week, the shipping window showed 2 weeks later, and a window of 11 days. I waited and waited, no contact from the company. After the final date of the window passed with no contact, I called again. I was told that the grill did show up and it was scratched and dented and had to be sent back to Weber. Now I was told another 3-5 days to get a new one in. Again, the 5 days passed...nothing. I called back to learn it would be another week. Really? It's been one month, and the only way I learn of what is going on is to contact them.

I cancelled the order, got the grill from another vendor.

At the very least, they could contact customers when something like this happens to fill you in.

"I shop online A LOT I really mean A LOT, I have never had bad experience like what im having right now with homeeverything!! I made an order on May.31, 2011 and I havent received the item, so I cancelled the order on Jul.6, 2011. The customer service emailed me that I should get the refund within 3-5 business days, but I didnt get anything yet!! then I emailed them again regarding this issue on Jul.13, 2011 and he said that the supervisor was assured I would see the confirmation email within 48 hours, however, still I havent received anything yet!!! then I email back again on Jul.15,2011 and they said they will put the refund immediately, and still NOTHING..
By the way, you may be wonder why i just email? that is because they dont answer the phone!! IS THIS THEIR 5 STAR SERVICE?? as the website says!!
Anyway, I just wrote this review to let people know that Homeeverything.com kept my money 49 days (it could be more because Im still waiting for my refund) for nothing!!

Im really sorrowful that I deal with Homeeverything.com
If you want to have similar story, buy from Homeeverything.com

"Placed order on May 27 and was told it was in stock and will be shipped the very next day. Never received a tracking number the next day so I decided to call them, after 30 minutes on hold I was told there was a delay with the shipper and it would ship on Wednesday...I heard this same response day after day after day and the order never shipped. BTW: The charge on my credit card was from Pinnacle Marketing Group. So it appears that this is a common way for them to get money cause they charge you immediately. After many phone calls with them, I said to cancel the order, was then told it was on the truck and couldn't be cancelled...after 2 weeks of this, I finally had to do a Chargeback with my credit card company. DO NOT ORDER FROM THEM!! The only good comments are from there employees!"

"My wife and I ordered a washer/dryer on June 1st and were given a delivery date of 6/17-6/24. After that date came and went,I called and spoke to "Eric", who told me that the order would ship on July 1, since Friday is the only day they ship. on Friday July 1, I called just to verify that the order had shipped and was told by "Sean" that the order would ship on Friday July 8. At this point I could see a pattern developing and asked to speak to a supervisor. He then told me that since they had missed the delivery date, they would ship my order on Tuesday July 5, (an apparent breach of their policy of only shipping on Friday). On the afternoon on July 5, I again called to check on the status of my order, and was told that my order would ship on July 8, via A&B Freight. On the afternoon of July 8, I called yet again to verify the status of my order and was told that was shipping on Tuesday July 12. Upon calling once again on July 14, I was told by "Scott Smith", that my order was shipping on July 15, via Manna Freight (he even went so far as to tell me that he would bet his job on it, and that I would be receiving an e-mail confirmation and tracking number by the close of business on July 15. After receiving no such e-mail, I called this morning, july 18, and was told that my order was scheduled to ship on Thursday, July 21. When I confronted the person on the phone with the fact that I had consistently been lied to, his response was to tell me "noone ever lied to you. your order just got pushed back" At this point, my next move is to contest the charges with my credit card company and contact the New York state Attorney's office.

My story is far from unique, and if you research other reviews of HomeEverything, you will hear many amazingly similar stories.

Do business with HomeEverything at your own risk. As for me, I will never deal with them again, and will urge my family and friends to do the same.

Oh I almost forgot to mention that I ran the addresses of both their showroom and their warehouse in Google Earth Pro, the address for their showroom is a small closed up business, and their massive warehouse is nothing but a large empty field.

If I could have given HomeEverything zero stars, I would have done just that.

UPDATE:

yesterday we finally received an e-mail stating that the washer/dryer have shipped, along with a tracking number and link to the carrier tracking site. Last night it said only "electronic billing information received", but this morning it showed actual tracking information. So it appears that our order has actually shipped. I will update again as the process plays out, and if things go well. I might actually have to alter my satisfaction rating
