"HORRIBLE! Do not pay for installation services because the delivery people will not do it. I paid 198.99 for installation for a washer and dryer and the delivery people arrived and said they were not authorized to do it. Now, I cannot get anyone to take my calls or emails to resolve this issue. In addition, they were suppose to haul away my appliances. No way was that done.
And, my invoice says I am to receive a $100 dinner card, nope, did not get it. DO NOT BUY FROM THESE PEOPLE. A HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE. They advertise no sales tax, but they will make up for it. And, it took over 3 weeks for delivery. I wish I had purchased from a local store and paid more, it is worth it. "
"You know -- here's the bottom line truth.
I recently purchased a home and was researching and shopping for appliances for over a month. I settled on a Samsung RFG237AARS counter depth fridge, Samsung WF448 platinum washer & matching Samsung DV448 platinum dryer. HomeEverything was by far the lowest price compared to Best Buy, Lowes, and other online retailers.
With that said -- I read a ton of reviews of other people who had issues with this company. After reading them, I was seriously hesitant after I purchased my order that I may have fallen for a scandal or am sacrificing quality by being cheap. After placing my order, I called them back a week later to cancel my order and just go by them at Best Buy instead and pay the $1000 premium, for peace of mind if anything. After a long wait (which was fine, just put them on speaker phone while youre on hold and do office work instead) the rep said he'll expedite my order and refund me back $200. Little hard to believe, but I took it and didn't cancel my order. Again, I still had buyers remorse, but long behold, I received a tracking number within the hour and received all my appliances by the end of the week in perfect new condition! After signing for the order, my order was price matched (the prices fell the day after) and I received my extra $200 credit for not cancelling my order! Don't believe everything you read, somethings actually do work out in an honest manner. Thumbs up HomeEverything! "
"I purchased a new home and on April 27, 2011 then called HE and inquired if they could ship and deliver a GE s-b-s refrigerator-freezer to my home NLT May 10th. The customer rep said I would need to pay $75 extra to ensure expedited delivery and get the item to my home on-time, so I initiated the order and was immediately charged the full purchase amount against my credit card.
I didn't receive any shipping information on the item by May 7th, so I called HE and inquired. I was told there was no way the item could be shipped and arrive by the requested date and that the sales representative had made a mistake by promising delivery for that date. I immediately canceled the order and requested a refund.
When I didn't hear anything else from HE for a whole month, I again contacted HE and was told my refund would be made in a day or two. I waited another week and the refund was still not made to my bank. Next, I filled out a request for refund via HE's email request form and at last received my refund 3 days later. Thank you!
I believe HomeEverything made 5 mistakes that should not have been made and which were unacceptable:
1. I should not have been promised the expedited shipment of an item, if HE knew they could/would not meet the requested delivery date.
2. My credit card should not have been charged the full amount unless and until the item was available and ready for shipment.
3. I should have been immediately notified and given the chance to either cancel my order or maintain the backorder for shipment when it became known the item could/would not be shipped to arrive by the requested date.
4. Once I requested a refund it should have been made and documented by the date advertised.
5. The 2nd time I contacted HE and again requested a refund and was told it would be made within 3 days, that is exactly what should have happened, no excuses.
I do appreciate that HE quickly refunded my full item purchase price after I contacted them via their website email contact/service request. Apparently this is the best way to contact them.
I believe HE should review their business practices and bring them into line with proper procedures exercised by other mail order on-line companies. Unless and until I am contacted and assured this company has corrected their poor customer service practices, I can not and will not recommend them to anyone, nor will I personally order anything else from them.

"Home everything is a disaster of epic proportion. After having my order delayed twice with no real good explination, I was then informed that they could not deliver 2 of the 5 appliances. The 3 that came were fine, but then 5 phone calls with 30 min+ wait times, 2 emails and another month later, I still have not had my credit card credited back. DO NOT EVER USE THEM. I am on hold again (12 minutes and counting).

"I ordered a Weber grill and I was so impressed that within 48hrs I received an email from Joe S., the customer service rep who said he would be my contact person. He let me know what I should expect for the time frame for shipping and delivery and that the trucking company would call a few days ahead to arrange delivery, which is great since I work during the week. Joe S. also included his email and phone contact. So far so good!
I also bought my Maytag washer and dryer from HomeEverything and was very happy with the items and delivery, but don't remember this personal contact of a customer service person. Nice addition!"
"Placed an order from them Jan 2011. When it came to the sales part they would call and offered customer service but once the sale was complete there was no follow up. The order status on their website is not updated. I recieved only 3 of the 4 items that I ordered and was never informed that one of the items was on back-order. Maytag was phasing out this item and has no done so yet home-everything still has the item on their website.
After several phone calls and being on hold for several minutes I spoke with an employee that the replacement would be shipped in a few days. The next email I received was one stating this item was discontinued, which was not true and I confirmed this with Maytag.
It seems to me that Home Everything has not intentions of filling this order and basically keeping my money. If they contact me and prove me wrong and fill this order then I will update this review.
I would not recommended ordering from them. I made a penny wise, pound foolish mistake."
"Appallingly bad customer service. Ordered a wall oven on April 5 because ours had broken. They told us to call and schedule a delivery. We did and then heard nothing, so we called back. No record of our prior call, but the oven will go out "next week." Called back two weeks later and was told -- for the very first time -- that the item was on back order from the manufacturer, but that it should ship soon. Called back two weeks later, still on back order. Terrible communication, and we have had no oven for two months. Sears may be more expensive, but I can get it by the end of the week!"

"Placed my order on 4/24 and received confirmation that order would ship between 5/17-5/20. I called customer service on 5/19 to check on status and was told that the order was reschedule for delivery between 5/24-5/28. I called back on 5/25 to follow up. After waiting for somebody to answer for 30 mins i was transferred 3 times and was finally told my order was reschedule again. Asked to speak to a manager and was transferred back into hold que for another 15 mins. Spoke to somebody else who said order was going to ship but dryer was received damaged and it would ship in another week(these word excaclly been told to everyone).(I read plenty of other negative reviews that said they gave them the same LIES) I requested to cancel my order and credit my card back. The service rep i spoke to was VERY RUDE as if I was the one that did something wrong. The order was cancelled and card was never credited. I emailed about 10 days later to follow up on my credit and they said it was an error with accounting and i would see a credit in 2-3 business days. As expected my card was not credited. I had to waitting another week if not i will going to dispute this charge with my credit card company to receive a refund. THIS COMPANY IS FULL OF LIERS. BUYER BEWARE. THE PRICING IS ATTRACTIVE BUT THEY HAVE NO INTENTION OF SHIPPING YOUR ITEM. INSTEAD THEY HELD MY MONEY FOR ALMOST 2 MONTHS."
"Over the past eight months I have purchased several items from home-everything to include a refrigerator, gas stove and microwave, bosh dishwasher, and a washer and gas dryer. I must admit I was surprised by how great the delivery peolple where. They went above and beyond and exceeded my expectations. All items where received in roughly three weeks from time of order. I would buy from them again and have recommended them to friends. Can't beat the no sales tax and free delivery. Have to wait for the product to arrive - worth the savings."

"I purchased a Weber grill from this company on March 25, 2011 and my credit card was immediately charged $749. Over the next five weeks three promised ship dates came and went. When the grill had not shipped by May 2nd, 2011 I cancelled the order. My promised refund was not processed for several weeks and was only processed after I initiated a refund request through my credit card company.
This company is extremely unreliable and I will never purchase a product from them again. "
